도 2 는 본 발명의 제 1 실시 형태에 관련된 액정 표시 장치에 구비되는 표시 장치용 기판의 투명 기판의 면으로부터 본 평면도이다.
도 3 은 본 발명의 제 1 실시 형태에 관련된 액정 표시 장치에 구비되는 제 1 배선층과 제 2 배선층의 일례를 나타내는 평면도이다.

Claims (15)
- 표시 영역과, 상기 표시 영역의 외측에 위치하는 단자 영역을 갖는 제 1 투명 기판과, 흑색층 및 제 1 금속층의 적층 구조를 갖는 제 1 배선층을 상기 제 1 투명 기판의 제 1 면 상에 구비하는 대향 기판과,
액정층과,
제 2 투명 기판과, 상기 제 2 투명 기판 상에 형성되고 또한 게이트 전극을 포함하는 트랜지스터 구조를 갖는 복수의 액티브 소자들과, 상기 제 1 배선층에 직교하는 제 2 배선층을 갖고, 상기 액정층을 개재하여 상기 제 1 투명 기판의 상기 제 1 면에 마주 보도록 첩합된 어레이 기판
을 구비하는 액정 표시 장치로서,
상기 대향 기판에는, 상기 제 1 배선층과, 상기 표시 영역 내에 형성된 복수의 개구부를 갖는 블랙 매트릭스와, 상기 블랙 매트릭스를 덮는 제 1 투명 수지층이, 이 순서로 상기 제 1 면 상에 적층되고,
상기 블랙 매트릭스는, 상기 제 1 배선층의 선폭보다 큰 선폭을 갖고, 또한 평면으로 볼 때에 상기 제 1 배선층의 패턴을 포함하도록 겹쳐져 있고,
상기 제 2 배선층은 제 2 금속층으로 형성됨과 함께, 상기 제 2 금속층으로 형성되는 차광 패턴을 갖고,
상기 액티브 소자는, 상기 액티브 소자 상에 형성된 제 1 절연층을 개재하여, 상기 차광 패턴으로 덮이고,
상기 제 1 배선층과 상기 제 2 배선층 사이에 생기는 정전 용량의 변화를 검출함으로써 터치 센싱을 실시하고,
상기 액정 표시 장치는,
상기 단자 영역에는, 상기 흑색층 및 상기 제 1 금속층의 적층 구조를 갖는 복수의 단자부가 형성되고,
상기 블랙 매트릭스의 상기 개구부들의 수가 상기 어레이 기판 상의 액티브 소자의 수를 따르고,
상기 블랙 매트릭스는 제 1 차광부들 및 제 2 차광부들이 서로 교차하도록 제 1 방향으로 연장되는 상기 제 1 차광부들 및 제 2 방향으로 연장되는 상기 제 2 차광부들을 포함하고,
상기 개구부들이 각각 제 1 차광부들 중 두 개의 차광부 및 제 2 차광부들 중 두 개의 차광부로 둘러싸여 있고,
상기 제 1 차광부들이 각각 평면으로 볼 때에 대응되는 게이트 전극과 겹쳐져 있는 것을 특징으로 하는, 액정 표시 장치. - 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 개구부는 장변과 단변을 갖고,
평면으로 볼 때에 있어서 상기 제 2 배선층이, 상기 개구부의 상기 단변에 평행이 되도록 형성되어 있는, 액정 표시 장치. - 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 어레이 기판은, 상기 게이트 전극과 전기적으로 접속되는 게이트 배선을 갖고,
평면으로 볼 때에 있어서 상기 제 2 배선층이, 상기 게이트 배선을 따라 평행하게 연장되도록, 상기 제 1 절연층 상에 형성되어 있는, 액정 표시 장치. - 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 제 2 배선층의 전위는 정전위인, 액정 표시 장치. - 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 제 1 금속층과 상기 제 1 투명 수지층 사이에 형성된 컬러 필터층을 구비하는, 액정 표시 장치. - 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 제 1 투명 수지층은, 상기 블랙 매트릭스와 상기 액정층 사이에 형성되어 있는, 액정 표시 장치. - 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 블랙 매트릭스의 비유전율은, 3.0 ∼ 4.4 의 범위에 있는, 액정 표시 장치. - 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 액티브 소자는, 갈륨, 인듐, 아연, 주석, 게르마늄의 각각의 산화물로 구성되는 2 종 이상의 금속 산화물을 포함하는 채널층을 구비하는 트랜지스터인, 액정 표시 장치. - 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 어레이 기판은, 화소 전극과, 상기 화소 전극과 상기 제 2 투명 기판 사이에 형성된 공통 전극과, 상기 화소 전극과 상기 공통 전극 사이에 형성된 제 2 절연층을 갖고,
상기 액티브 소자는, 상기 화소 전극과 전기적으로 접속되고,
상기 액정층은, 상기 화소 전극과 상기 공통 전극 사이에 인가되는 전압으로 구동되는, 액정 표시 장치. - 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 액정층의 초기 배향은, 상기 제 2 투명 기판의 면에 평행인, 액정 표시 장치. - 삭제
