Claims (15)
- 제1 기판, 상기 제1 기판에 대향하는 제2 기판, 및 상기 제1 기판과 상기 제2 기판 사이에 제공된 액정층을 포함하는 액정 표시 패널; 및
상기 액정 표시 패널에 광을 제공하는 백라이트 유닛을 포함하며,
상기 액정층은 네거티브 유전율 이방성을 갖는 액정 분자들을 포함하며 40도 이상 60도 이하의 온도에서 구동되며, 알케닐계 액정 분자들을 포함하지 않는 액정 표시 장치. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 액정층의 네마틱-등방상 전이 온도(Tni)는 110도 이상인 액정 표시 장치. - 삭제
- 제2항에 있어서,
상기 백라이트 유닛의 휘도는 1500니트 이상인 액정 표시 장치. - 제5항에 있어서,
상기 화학식 1의 액정 분자들 각각은 길이 대 폭의 비가 6.6 이상인 액정 표시 장치. - 제2항에 있어서,
상기 액정층은 20 ℃에서 190 이상의 회전점도를 갖는 액정 표시 장치. - 제8항에 있어서,
상기 액정층은 17 이상의 스플레이 탄성 계수를 가지며, 19 이상의 벤딩 탄성 계수를 갖는 액정 표시 장치. - 제1항에 있어서,

평면 상에서 볼 때 상기 제1 도메인 분할 수단의 일부와 상기 제2 도메인 분할 수단의 일부는 서로 교번하는 액정 표시 장치. - 제12항에 있어서
상기 제1 도메인 분할 수단 및 상기 제2 도메인 분할 수단 각각은 절개부 또는 돌기인 액정 표시 장치. - 제12항에 있어서,
