Abstract
[해결수단] 폴리비닐알코올계 필름에 팽윤 처리와 염색 처리를 순차 행하여 편광 필름을 제조하는 방법으로서, 팽윤 처리는, 폴리비닐알코올계 필름을 연신하면서 n개(n은 자연수)의 팽윤조에 순차 통과시킴으로써 행해지고, 팽윤 처리에 있어서, 폴리비닐알코올계 필름의 초기 폭을 W, n번째의 팽윤조를 나올 때의 폴리비닐알코올계 필름의 최종 폭을 X, 모든 팽윤조에서의 적산 연신 배율을 A로 했을 때, -0.14≤(W-X)/W/A≤0.05를 만족한다.

Claims (5)
- 폴리비닐알코올계 필름에 팽윤 처리와 염색 처리를 순차 행하여 편광 필름을 제조하는 방법으로서,
상기 팽윤 처리는, 원반 롤로부터 상기 폴리비닐알코올계 필름을 풀어내어, 반송 방향으로 연신하면서 n개(n은 자연수)의 팽윤조에 순차 통과시킴으로써 행해지고,
상기 팽윤 처리에 있어서, 상기 폴리비닐알코올계 필름의 초기 폭을 W, n번째의 팽윤조를 나올 때의 상기 폴리비닐알코올계 필름의 최종 폭을 X, 모든 상기 팽윤조에서의 적산 연신 배율을 A로 했을 때,
-0.14≤(W-X)/W/A≤0.05를 만족하는 편광 필름의 제조 방법. - 제1항에 있어서, -0.12≤(W-X)/W/A≤0.02를 만족하는 편광 필름의 제조 방법.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 팽윤조는 2개인 편광 필름의 제조 방법.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, n은 2 이상이고,
상기 폴리비닐알코올계 필름의 반송 방향의 n번째 팽윤조의 온도는, k번째(1≤k≤(n-1)) 팽윤조의 온도 이하인 편광 필름의 제조 방법. - 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 폴리비닐알코올계 필름의 초기 폭(W)은 400 mm 이상인 편광 필름의 제조 방법.
