Claims (12)
- 디지털 구동 방식으로 표시 패널을 구동하는 유기전계발광표시장치에 있어서,
상기 표시 패널에 서브프레임 단위로 데이터신호를 공급하는 데이터 구동부; 및
상기 표시 패널에 고전위전압을 공급하는 전원공급부를 포함하되,
상기 전원공급부는 상기 서브프레임마다 상기 표시 패널의 서브 픽셀들에 공급되는 고전위전압을 가변하고,
상기 데이터 구동부는,
상기 표시 패널의 위치별로 상기 서브프레임의 비트값을 달리하여 동일한 서브프레임에 대한 휘도 편차를 보상하는 것을 특징으로 하는 유기전계발광표시장치. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 고전위전압은
상기 서브프레임마다 다른 레벨을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 유기전계발광표시장치. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 고전위전압은
1 프레임 동안 서로 다른 레벨로 가변하는 것을 특징으로 하는 유기전계발광표시장치. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 전원공급부는
저계조에 해당하는 서브프레임(또는 하위 비트의 서브프레임)의 발광 시간을 늘리기 위해 상기 고전위전압을 낮추고,
고계조에 해당하는 서브프레임(또는 상위 비트의 서브프레임)의 발광 시간을 줄이기 위해 상기 고전위전압을 높이는 것을 특징으로 하는 유기전계발광표시장치. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 데이터 구동부는
상기 서브프레임의 발광 시간을 유사 또는 동일하게 설정하여 공급하는 것을 특징으로 하는 유기전계발광표시장치. - 삭제
- 제1항에 있어서,
상기 표시 패널은
서브 픽셀들에 대해 수평 방향 또는 수직 방향으로 분리된 제1 내지 제n전원라인을 포함하고,
상기 전원공급부는 상기 제1 내지 제n전원라인을 통해 M(M은 1 이상 정수)라인씩 상이한 위상을 갖는 제1 내지 제n고전위전압을 출력하는 것을 특징으로 하는 유기전계발광표시장치. - 제7항에 있어서,
상기 제1 내지 제n고전위전압은
스캔 신호에 대응하여 라인별로 다른 출력 시간을 갖고 상기 서브 픽셀들에 공급되는 것을 특징으로 하는 유기전계발광표시장치. - 디지털 구동 방식으로 표시 패널을 구동하는 유기전계발광표시장치의 구동방법에 있어서,
상기 표시 패널에 서브프레임 단위로 데이터신호를 공급하는 단계; 및
상기 표시 패널에 고전위전압을 공급하되, 상기 서브프레임마다 상기 표시 패널의 서브 픽셀들에 공급되는 고전위전압을 가변하는 단계를 포함하고,
상기 데이터신호를 공급하는 단계는,
상기 표시 패널의 위치별로 상기 서브프레임의 비트값을 달리하여 동일한 서브프레임에 대한 휘도 편차를 보상하는 단계를 포함하는 유기전계발광표시장치의 구동방법. - 제9항에 있어서,
상기 고전위전압을 가변하는 단계는
저계조에 해당하는 서브프레임(또는 하위 비트의 서브프레임)의 발광 시간을 늘리기 위해 상기 고전위전압을 낮추고,
고계조에 해당하는 서브프레임(또는 상위 비트의 서브프레임)의 발광 시간을 줄이기 위해 상기 고전위전압을 높이는 것을 특징으로 하는 유기전계발광표시장치의 구동방법. - 제9항에 있어서,
상기 서브프레임의 발광 시간은
유사 또는 동일하게 설정된 것을 특징으로 하는 유기전계발광표시장치의 구동방법. - 삭제
