Claims (16)
- 바닥이 있는 통형상의 도전체로서 바닥부가 바깥쪽으로 돌출된 돌출부를 가지고 있는 복수의 집전체 및 전해액을 구비하는 바이폴러 전지로서,
정극과, 부극과, 상기 정극과 상기 부극 사이에 배치된 세퍼레이터가 적층된 적어도 하나의 발전 엘리먼트를 구비하고 있고,
상기 돌출부가 상기 발전 엘리먼트를 상기 집전체의 축방향을 따라 관통하고 있고,
상기 정극 및 상기 부극의 어느 일방의 전극인 제1 전극이 하나의 상기 집전체의 통부의 내측면에 맞닿아, 상기 하나의 집전체와 전기적으로 접속되어 있는 한편, 다른 상기 집전체와 접촉하고 있지 않고,
상기 정극 및 상기 부극의 어느 타방의 전극인 제2 전극이 상기 하나의 집전체에 접촉하고 있지 않는 한편, 상기 다른 집전체의 돌출부 외측면에 맞닿아, 상기 다른 집전체와 전기적으로 접속되어 있는 바이폴러 전지. - 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 제2 전극의 외측 가장자리가 상기 세퍼레이터에 의해 덮여 있고,
상기 제1 전극에 있어서의 상기 다른 집전체가 관통하는 구멍의 둘레 가장자리가 상기 세퍼레이터에 의해 덮여 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 바이폴러 전지. - 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 하나의 집전체와 상기 다른 집전체 사이에 절연체가 개재하고 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 바이폴러 전지.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 집전체의 안쪽으로서, 상기 돌출부와 상기 발전 엘리먼트 사이에 발수 시트가 구비되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 바이폴러 전지.
- 제 4 항에 있어서, 상기 발수 시트가 미다공막 또는 폴리올레핀의 부직포인 것을 특징으로 하는 바이폴러 전지.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 5 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 바이폴러 전지는 복수의 발전 엘리먼트를 포함하고, 하나의 상기 발전 엘리먼트의 제1 전극이 상기 하나의 집전체의 통부의 내측면에 맞닿는 한편, 다른 하나의 상기 발전 엘리먼트의 제2 전극이 상기 다른 집전체의 돌출부 외측면에 맞닿아 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 바이폴러 전지.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 4 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 집전체가 니켈 도금 강판제인 것을 특징으로 하는 바이폴러 전지.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 4 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 집전체가 부극 단자판과 정극 단자판 사이에 끼워져 동심형상으로 적층되어 있고, 상기 부극 단자판과 상기 정극 단자판이 절연 튜브를 피복한 통과 볼트로 연결되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 바이폴러 전지.
- 제 8 항에 있어서, 상기 통과 볼트의 양단에 부착된 도전성의 평판형상의 접속 금구가 평판부, 및 이 평판부로부터, 상기 부극 단자판 및 상기 정극 단자판을 따르도록 직각으로 구부러진 연신부를 가지고 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 바이폴러 전지.
- 제 8 항에 있어서, 상기 적층된 집전체의 개구 방향 단에 위치하는 상기 집전체가 통부를 가지지 않는 것을 특징으로 하는 바이폴러 전지.
- 제 4 항에 있어서, 상기 제1 전극 또는 제2 전극의 일방의 전극이 수소 흡장 합금을 포함한 부극이며, 타방의 전극이 정극 활물질과 도전제를 포함한 정극으로서,
상기 도전제가 탄소를 포함하고 있는
수소 가스가 봉입된 것을 특징으로 하는 바이폴러 전지. - 제 11 항에 있어서, 바이폴러 전지 내에 유지된 상기 전해액이 전기 분해함으로써 발생하는 수소 가스 및 외부로부터 공급되는 수소 가스를 저장하는 수소 저장실을 구비한 것을 특징으로 하는 바이폴러 전지.
- 제 11 항에 있어서, 상기 도전제가 부분적으로 그라파이트화한 소프트 카본을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 바이폴러 전지.
- 제 11 항에 있어서, 상기 세퍼레이터가 폴리올레핀계 부직포인 것을 특징으로 하는 바이폴러 전지.
- 제 11 항에 있어서, 상기 세퍼레이터가 친수성을 가지고 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 바이폴러 전지.
- 제 9 항에 기재된 복수의 바이폴러 전지를 축방향과 직교하는 방향으로 배치한 조전지로서, 상기 바이폴러 전지의 축방향에 직교하는 방향으로 송풍하는 송풍기를 구비하고 있고, 상기 송풍기의 송풍 방향이 상기 접속 금구의 연신부와 평행한 방향인 조전지.
