Abstract
LNG 추진 선박용 증발가스 압축기는, 내부에 임펠러(30a, 30b)가 회전 가능하게 설치되는 압축기 하우징(24a, 24b)과; 상기 임펠러(30a, 30b)를 구동시키기 위한 모터(14)가 내부에 설치되는 모터 하우징(12)과; 상기 모터(14)의 회전 구동력을 상기 임펠러(30a, 30b)에 전달하기 위한 회전축(16a, 16b)을 회전 가능하게 지지하는 베어링(18); 을 포함할 수 있다. 상기 압축기 하우징(24a, 24b) 및 상기 모터 하우징(12)은 일체로 이루어질 수 있다.

도 3은 본 발명의 변형예에 따른 LNG 추진 선박용 증발가스 압축기의 개략적인 측면도이다.
Claims (11)
- LNG를 추진엔진의 연료로 사용하는 LNG 추진 선박용 증발가스 압축기로서,
내부에 임펠러가 회전 가능하게 설치되는 압축기 하우징과;
상기 임펠러를 구동시키기 위한 모터가 내부에 설치되는 모터 하우징과;
상기 모터의 회전 구동력을 상기 임펠러에 전달하기 위한 회전축을 회전 가능하게 지지하는 베어링;
을 포함하며,
상기 압축기 하우징 및 상기 모터 하우징은 일체로 이루어지며,
상기 압축기 하우징으로부터 누출된 증발가스가 상기 모터 하우징의 내부로 유입될 수 있도록 구성되며,
상기 증발가스는 가연성이며,
상기 압축기 하우징과 상기 모터 하우징을 일체로 형성하고 상기 모터 하우징의 내부는 대기압보다 높은 압력이 유지되도록 하여, 산소가 포함된 외기가 상기 모터 하우징의 내부로 유입되는 것을 방지하는, LNG 추진 선박용 증발가스 압축기. - 청구항 1에 있어서,
상기 모터는 고속 주파수 인버터에 의해 구동되고, 상기 임펠러는 별도의 증속기어 없이 상기 모터에 직접 연결되는, LNG 추진 선박용 증발가스 압축기. - 청구항 1에 있어서,
상기 베어링은 윤활유를 사용하지 않는 무윤활유 방식의 베어링인, LNG 추진 선박용 증발가스 압축기. - 청구항 1에 있어서,
상기 임펠러 및 상기 압축기 하우징은, 상기 모터 하우징을 중심으로 양쪽에 각각 하나씩 설치되는, LNG 추진 선박용 증발가스 압축기. - 청구항 4에 있어서,
상기 임펠러는 상기 모터 하우징의 일측에 배치된 제1 임펠러와 상기 모터 하우징의 타측에 배치된 제2 임펠러를 포함하며,
상기 제1 임펠러를 통과하면서 가압된 증발가스는 중간 냉각기에서 냉각된 후 상기 제2 임펠러에 공급되어 추가로 가압되는, LNG 추진 선박용 증발가스 압축기. - 청구항 1에 있어서,
상기 회전축은 상기 모터 하우징과 상기 압축기 하우징 사이의 격벽을 관통하여 상기 압축기 하우징의 내부로 연장되며,
상기 압축기 하우징의 내부와 상기 모터 하우징의 내부는 상기 회전축과 상기 격벽 사이의 간극을 통해 서로 연통 가능하여, 증발가스는 상기 압축기 하우징의 내부로부터 상기 모터 하우징의 내부로 유동할 수 있는, LNG 추진 선박용 증발가스 압축기. - 청구항 6에 있어서,
상기 모터 하우징과 상기 압축기 하우징 사이의 격벽에는 단열부재가 설치되는, LNG 추진 선박용 증발가스 압축기. - 청구항 7에 있어서,
상기 회전축이 상기 격벽 및 상기 단열부재를 관통하는 부분에는, 기밀 기능과 가열 기능을 겸비하는 기밀 및 가열부재가 설치되어, 상기 단열부재와 상기 기밀 및 가열부재에 의해 상기 모터의 온도 저하를 완화시키는, LNG 추진 선박용 증발가스 압축기. - 청구항 1에 있어서,
상기 모터 하우징의 내부 압력을 검출할 수 있는 압력 센서를 더 포함하는, LNG 추진 선박용 증발가스 압축기. - 청구항 1에 있어서,
상기 모터 하우징에는, 외부로부터 상기 모터 하우징의 내부로 기체를 공급할 수 있는 공급 구멍과, 내부의 기체를 배출할 수 있는 벤트 구멍이 형성되는, LNG 추진 선박용 증발가스 압축기. - 청구항 1에 있어서,
상기 모터 하우징의 내부는 가연성 가스로 채워지는, LNG 추진 선박용 증발가스 압축기.
