도 3에서, (a) 내지 (c)는, 규제 블레이드가 현상 슬리브의 표면의 토너의 층 두께를 규제하는 위치에서, 기록재의 가루가 끼이는 현상을 나타내는 단면도다.
도 4는 전 회전(pre-rotation), 현상 동작 및 후 회전(post-rotation)시에, 현상 슬리브의 구동, 현상 바이어스 및 규제 블레이드 바이어스의 타이밍 차트다.
도 5는 실시예 2에서 규제 블레이드와 현상 슬리브간의 전위차의 형성 방법을 나타내는 개략도다.
Claims (5)
- 잠상이 형성되는 상 담지체;
현상제를 담지하고 상기 잠상을 현상하는 현상제 담지체;
상기 현상제 담지체에 접촉해서 상기 현상제의 층 두께를 규제하는 도전성의 규제 부재; 및
적어도 현상 동작시에, 상기 현상제 담지체의 표면에 상기 현상제의 극성과 같은 극성의 전압을 상기 도전성의 규제 부재에 인가하는 전압원;
을 구비하고,
상기 상 담지체에 형성된 현상제 상이 전사된 후에 상기 상 담지체의 표면에 잔류한 상기 현상제를 상기 현상제 담지체에 의해 회수하고,
상기 현상 동작시 이외의 기간에 상기 현상제 담지체가 구동하는 시간에, 상기 도전성의 규제 부재와 상기 현상제 담지체간의 전위차를 제로로 하거나, 또는 상기 현상제의 극성과 같은 극성을 갖고 상기 현상제 담지체에 인가되는 전압보다 작은 크기를 갖거나 또는 상기 현상제의 극성과 반대의 극성을 갖는 DC전압을 상기 도전성의 규제 부재에 인가하고,
상기 도전성의 규제 부재와 상기 현상제 담지체간의 전위차를 제로로 하거나, 또는 상기 현상제의 극성과 같은 극성을 갖고 상기 현상제 담지체에 인가되는 전압보다 작은 크기를 갖거나 또는 상기 현상제의 극성과 반대의 극성을 갖는 DC전압을 상기 도전성의 규제 부재에 인가하는 시간은, 상기 전압원이 전환신호를 수신하고 나서 응답하는 응답 시간과, 상기 응답 시간의 종료 직전에 상기 현상제 담지체의 소정의 위치가 상기 현상제 담지체와 상기 도전성의 규제 부재 사이의 접촉 위치의 앞으로부터 상기 접촉 위치의 뒤로 이동하는데 요하는 이동 소요시간과의 합 이상의 시간인, 화상형성장치.
