Claims (12)
- 전지셀;
상기 전지셀을 수용하는 전지 케이스를 포함하며,
상기 전지 케이스는 상기 전지셀을 수용하는 내측 케이스와, 상기 내측 케이스 외측에 구비되는 외측 케이스, 및 상기 내측 및 외측 케이스 사이에 구비되고 상기 내측 및 외측 케이스를 냉각함에 따라 발생하는 냉기로 상기 전지셀을 간접 냉각하는 냉각부재를 포함하고,
상기 외측 케이스는 상기 내측 케이스의 외주면을 감싸는 형태로 구비되고,
상기 냉각부재는 상기 내측 케이스와 상기 외측 케이스 사이의 밀폐된 공간에 저장되는 냉각액으로 마련되고,
상기 전지 케이스는 상기 전지셀이 설정 온도 이상 상승하면, 상기 냉각부재가 상기 내측 케이스의 내부로 유입되도록 상기 내측 케이스를 절개하는 절개부재를 더 포함하며,
상기 내측 케이스의 내부로 유입된 상기 냉각부재는 상기 전지셀에 접촉되면서 상기 전지셀을 직접 냉각하는 전지팩. - 청구항 1에 있어서,
상기 냉각부재는 상기 내측 케이스 및 상기 외측 케이스 보다 작은 두께를 가지는 전지팩. - 청구항 2에 있어서,
상기 냉각부재의 두께는 1nm 내지 1mm인 전지팩. - 청구항 1에 있어서,
상기 냉각부재는 상변화 물질(phase change material, PCM)로 마련되는 전지팩. - 청구항 4에 있어서,
상기 상변화 물질은 수화물 형태의 무기물, 파라핀계 탄화수소 및 유기산으로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택되는 어느 하나 또는 2종 이상의 혼합물인 전지팩. - 삭제

- 청구항 1에 있어서,
상기 절개부재는 상기 내측 케이스의 표면에 구비되는 절개부, 및 상기 내측 케이스와 상기 외측 케이스 사이에 구비되고 상기 전지셀로부터 전달되는 고온의 열에 의해 팽창하면서 상기 절개부를 가압하여 절개시키는 팽창물질을 포함하는 전지팩. - 청구항 8에 있어서,
상기 절개부는 절개홈으로 형성되는 전지팩. - 청구항 8에 있어서,
상기 팽창물질은 형상 기억 합금(shape-memory alloy)인 전지팩. - 청구항 8에 있어서,
상기 팽창물질의 양 단부는 상기 내측 케이스와 상기 외측 케이스에 각각 접착되는 전지팩. - 청구항 8에 있어서,
상기 절개부재는 상기 냉각부재가 저장된 상기 전지 케이스의 벽면 전체에 적어도 하나 이상 구비되는 전지팩.
