Description
도 2는 무안경 입체 영상 표시장치의 렌즈를 보여 주는 단면도이다.
도 3은 무안경 입체 영상 표시장치의 베리어를 보여 주는 단면도이다.
도 4 및 도 5는 무안경 입체 영상 표시장치에서 스위쳐블 렌즈나 스위쳐블 베리어를 이용하여 해상도 손실 없이 입체 영상을 구현할 수 있는 구동 방법의 일 예를 보여 주는 도면이다.
도 6은 도 1에 도시된 3D 셀의 일예를 보여 주는 단면도이다.
도 7은 3D 셀에 형성된 베리어의 시프트 동작을 예시하는 도면이다.
도 8 및 도 9는 표시패널과 3D 셀의 프레임 레이트가 같은 예를 보여 주는 파형도이다.
도 10은 도 9와 같은 구동 방법에서 나타나는 30 Hz 플리커를 보여 주는 파형도이다.

Claims (6)
- 좌안 영상과 우안 영상의 데이터를 표시하는 표시패널; 및
상기 표시패널 상에 배치되거나 상기 표시패널에 내장되어 상기 좌안 영상과 우안 영상의 광축을 분리하는 3D 셀을 포함하고,
상기 3D 셀의 프레임 레이트는 상기 표시패널의 프레임 레이트 보다 높으며,
상기 좌안 영상과 우안 영상의 데이터는 매 프레임 기간마다 시프트되고, 상기 좌안 영상과 우안 영상의 데이터에 동기하여 상기 3D 셀의 베리어 또는 렌즈가 시프트되는 것을 특징으로 하는 무안경 입체 영상 표시장치. - 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 3D 셀의 프레임 레이트는 상기 표시패널의 프레임 레이트 보다 2 배 높은 것을 특징으로 하는 무안경 입체 영상 표시장치. - 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 3D 셀의 프레임 레이트는 200 Hz 또는 240 Hz인 것을 특징으로 하는 무안경 입체 영상 표시장치. - 좌안 영상과 우안 영상의 데이터를 표시하는 표시패널과, 상기 표시패널 상에 배치되거나 상기 표시패널에 내장되어 상기 좌안 영상과 우안 영상의 광축을 분리하는 3D 셀을 포함하는 무안경 입체 영상 표시장치의 구동 방법에 있어서,
상기 3D 셀의 프레임 레이트를 상기 표시패널의 프레임 레이트 보다 높게 제어하며,
상기 좌안 영상과 우안 영상의 데이터는 매 프레임 기간마다 시프트되고, 상기 좌안 영상과 우안 영상의 데이터에 동기하여 상기 3D 셀의 베리어 또는 렌즈가 시프트되는 것을 특징으로 하는 무안경 입체 영상 표시장치의 구동 방법. - 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 베리어 또는 렌즈는, 상기 베리어 또는 렌즈에 상기 3D 셀의 프레임 레이트와 동일한 주파수로 반전되는 극성을 갖는 교류 구동전압을 인가함으로써 시프트되는 무안경 입체 영상 표시장치. - 제 4 항에 있어서,
상기 베리어 또는 렌즈는, 상기 베리어 또는 렌즈에 상기 3D 셀의 프레임 레이트와 동일한 주파수로 반전되는 극성을 갖는 교류 구동전압을 인가 함으로써 시프트되는 무안경 입체 영상 표시장치의 구동 방법.
