Claims (19)
- 제1 전극;
상기 제1 전극 상에 배치되는 정공 수송층, 발광층 및 전자 수송층; 및
상기 전자 수송층 상에 배치되는 제2 전극을 포함하며,
상기 발광층은 하기 화학식 1로 표시되는 호스트 물질 및 도펀트 물질을 포함하고,
하기 화학식 1에서, R1 내지 R4는 각각 독립적으로 방향족기가 치환되거나 비치환된 페닐(phenyl), 바이페닐(biphenyl), 나프틸(naphthyl), 안트라센(anthracene), 페난트렌(phenanthrenee), 파이렌(pyrene) 및 벤조파이렌(benzopyrene)기들로 구성된 그룹 중에서 선택된 하나이거나, 인돌(indole)기 또는 아릴기가 치환된 인돌기인 것을 특징으로 하는 유기 발광 표시 장치.

- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 도펀트 물질은 Ir, Pt, Os 및 Au로 이루어진 그룹에서 선택된 중심금속을 포함하는 적어도 하나의 유기금속 화합물을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 유기 발광 표시 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 도펀트 물질은 PtOEP, Ir(ppy)3 및 BTPIr로 이루어진 그룹에서 선택된 적어도 하나를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 유기 발광 표시 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제1 전극 및 상기 정공 수송층 사이에 배치되는 정공 주입층을 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 유기 발광 표시 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 전자 수송층 및 상기 제2 전극 사이에 배치되는 전자 주입층을 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 유기 발광 표시 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 발광층 및 상기 전자 수송층 사이에 배치되는 정공 차단층을 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 유기 발광 표시 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 발광층 및 상기 정공 수송층 사이에 배치되는 전자 차단층을 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 유기 발광 표시 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제1 전극에 전기적으로 연결되는 스위칭 소자를 더 포함하며, 상기 제1 전극은 상기 스위칭 소자의 전극과 전기적으로 연결되어 정공을 공급하는 양극으로서 기능하는 것을 특징으로 하는 유기 발광 표시 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 호스트 물질은 인광 또는 형광 호스트 물질을 포함하며, 상기 도펀트 물질은 인광 또는 형광 도펀트 물질을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 유기 발광 표시 장치.
- 스위칭 소자를 포함하는 기판 상에 제1 전극을 형성하는 단계;
상기 제1 전극 상에 정공 수송층, 발광층, 전자 수송층을 형성하는 단계; 및
상기 전자 수송층 상에 제2 전극을 형성하는 단계를 포함하며,
상기 발광층은 하기 화학식 1로 표시되는 호스트 물질 및 도펀트 물질을 사용하여 형성되고,
하기 화학식 1에서, R1 내지 R4는 각기 독립적으로 방향족기가 치환되거나 비치환된 페닐(phenyl), 바이페닐(biphenyl), 나프틸(naphthyl), 안트라센(anthracene), 페난트렌(phenanthrenee), 파이렌(pyrene) 및 벤조파이렌(benzopyrene)기들로 이루어진 그룹으로부터 선택된 하나이거나, 인돌(indole)기 또는 아릴기가 치환된 인돌기인 것을 특징으로 하는 유기 발광 표시 장치의 제조 방법.

상기 발광층을 형성하는 단계 후에, 상기 발광층 상에 정공 차단층을 형성하는 단계를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 유기 발광 표시 장치의 제조 방법.
