Abstract
(a) 이 발명에 따른 합금으로 된 두꺼운 블록을 주조하는 단계,
(b) 500℃ 내지 560℃의 온도에서 10 분 내지 20 시간 동안 상기 주조된 블록을 용체화 처리하는 단계,
(c) 상기 용체화 처리된 블록을 100℃ 미만의 온도로 냉각하는 단계,
(d) 4 시간 내지 48 시간 동안 120℃ 내지 170℃까지 가열함으로써 상기 용체화 처리되고 냉각된 블록을 템퍼링하는 단계를 포함한다.
이 공정에서, 상기 블록은 주조 단계와 템퍼링 단계 사이의 가공에 의해 어떤 심각한 변형도 겪지 않는다. 이 발명에 따른 합금 및 방법은 사출 성형 플라스틱을 위한 주형의 제조를 위해 특히 유용하다.

Claims (10)
- 두꺼운 블록의 제조를 위한 알루미늄 합금으로서, (중량% 단위);
Zn: 5.4% 내지 5.8%,
Mg: 0.8% 내지 1.8%,
Cu: 0.2% 미만,
Zr: 0.05% 내지 0.12%,
Ti: 0.15% 미만,
Mn: 0.1% 미만,
Cr: 0.1% 미만,
Si: 0.15% 미만,
Fe: 0.20% 미만,
총 함량이 0.15% 미만이고, 각각 0.05% 미만의 개별적 함량을 갖는 불순물, 및
잔부 알루미늄
을 포함하는 알루미늄 합금. - 제1항에 있어서, (중량% 단위)
Mg: 1.0% 내지 1.4% 또는
Cu: 0.05% 미만인 것인 알루미늄 합금. - 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 최대 Zr 함량이 0.10 중량%인 것인 알루미늄 합금.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서,
Ti: 0.01% 내지 0.05% 또는
Mn: 0.05% 미만 또는:
Cr: 0.05% 미만 또는:
Si: 0.10% 미만 또는:
Fe: 0.15% 미만인 것인 알루미늄 합금. - 두꺼운 알루미늄 블록을 제조하는 두꺼운 알루미늄 블록의 제조 방법으로서:
(a) 제1항 또는 제2항에 따라 미가공 합금 성형체를 주조하는 단계.
(b) 선택적으로, 450℃ 내지 550℃의 온도에서 10 분 내지 30 시간의 기간 동안 균질화하는 단계 또는 300℃ 내지 400℃의 온도에서 10 분 내지 30 시간의 기간 동안 응력 완화시킨 다음, 100℃ 미만의 온도로 냉각하는 단계;
(c) 500℃ 내지 560℃의 온도에서 10 분 내지 20 시간 동안 상기 주조된 블록을 용체화 처리(solution heat treatment)하는 단계,
(d) 상기 용체화 처리된 블록을 100℃ 미만의 온도로 냉각하는 단계, 및
(e) 4 시간 내지 48 시간 동안 120℃ 내지 170℃까지 가열함으로써 상기 용체화 처리되고 냉각된 블록을 템퍼링하는 단계를 포함하고,
상기 블록은 주조 단계와 템퍼링 단계 사이의 가공에 의해 어떤 심각한 변형도 겪지 않는 것인 두꺼운 알루미늄 블록의 제조 방법. - 제5항에 있어서, 단계 (d)의 냉각이 적어도 800℃/h의 냉각 속도로 수행되고, 용체화 처리된 블록이 응력 완화되고 1% 내지 5% 범위에 이르는 영구 변형을 갖도록, 제어된 압축에 의해 냉각되는 것인 두꺼운 알루미늄 블록의 제조 방법.
- 제6항에 있어서, 물 속에의 침지는 적어도 50℃의 물 속에 침지함으로써 수행되는 것인 두꺼운 알루미늄 블록의 제조 방법.
- 제6항에 따른 방법에 의해 얻어질 수 있는 두꺼운 알루미늄 블록에 있어서, 방향 TL로의 ¼ 두께에서, 노치를 지닌 바아 상에서의 기계적 강도와 ASTM E602-03, 섹션 9.2에 따라 측정된 항복 강도 Rp0.2 간의 NSR이라고 칭해지는 비율 및 항복 강도 Rp0.2는:
- NSR > - 0.017 * Rp0.2 + 6.7 및
- Rp0.2 > 320 MPa이 되는 것을 특징으로 하는 두꺼운 알루미늄 블록. - 제8항에 있어서, NSR > 0.8인 것을 특징으로 하는 두꺼운 알루미늄 블록.
- 제8항에 있어서, 두꺼운 알루미늄 블록은 사출 성형 플라스틱을 위한 주형의 제조에 사용 가능한 것인 두꺼운 알루미늄 블록.
