Abstract
본 발명의 특징은 데이터배선 상부로 쉴드금속패턴을 형성함으로써, 데이터배선과 화소전극 간의 기생용량을 최소화할 수 있어, 이를 통해, 수직 크로스토크(crosstalk)와 같은 불량을 야기되는 것을 방지할 수 있으며, 소비전류가 증가하게 되는 것을 방지할 수 있다.
또한, 화소전극과 데이터배선 간의 기생용량을 줄이기 위하여, 화소전극과 데이터배선 간의 이격간격을 넓게 형성하지 않아도 됨으로써, 프린지 필드 스위칭 모드 액정표시장치의 개구율을 저하되는 문제가 발생하는 것을 방지할 수 있다.

Claims (9)
- 기판 상에 게이트절연막을 사이에 두고 서로 교차하여 다수의 화소영역을 형성하는 게이트배선 및 데이터배선과;
상기 게이트배선과 상기 데이터배선과 연결된 박막트랜지스터와;
상기 데이터배선과 상기 박막트랜지스터를 덮는 제 1 보호층과;
상기 제 1 보호층 상부의 상기 화소영역 상에 위치하며, 상기 박막트랜지스터와 연결되는 화소전극과;
상기 제 1 보호층 상부로 상기 데이터배선에 대응하여 위치하여, 상기 데이터배선과 중첩되는 쉴드금속패턴과;
상기 화소전극과 상기 쉴드금속패턴을 덮는 제 2 보호층과;
상기 제 2 보호층 상부에 위치하는 공통전극
을 포함하며, 상기 쉴드금속패턴은 상기 화소전극과 동일층 동일물질로 이루어지며,
상기 쉴드금속패턴은 상기 화소전극과 중첩되지 않고, 상기 공통전극과는 가장자리 일부가 중첩되는 프린지 필드 스위칭 모드 액정표시장치용 어레이기판.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 쉴드금속패턴은 상기 데이터배선과 완전히 중첩되며, 상기 데이터배선의 폭보다 큰 폭을 갖는 프린지 필드 스위칭 모드 액정표시장치용 어레이기판.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 쉴드금속패턴은 상기 공통전극과 동일한 전압이 인가되는 프린지 필드 스위칭 모드 액정표시장치용 어레이기판.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 쉴드금속패턴은 투명한 도전성 물질로 이루어지는 프린지 필드 스위칭 모드 액정표시장치용 어레이기판.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 공통전극은 상기 데이터배선과 나란하게 상기 각 화소영역의 최외각에 형성된 최외각 공통전극과, 상기 게이트배선과 나란하게 형성되는 보조공통전극 그리고 상기 보조공통전극으로부터 분기하여 상기 최외각 공통전극과 나란하게 일정간격 이격하여 형성되는 다수의 중앙부 공통전극으로 이루어지며, 상기 화소전극은 상기 화소영역 내에서 판 형상을 갖는 프린지 필드 스위칭 모드 액정표시장치용 어레이기판.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 화소전극은 상기 박막트랜지스터와 연결되는 보조화소패턴과, 상기 보조화소패턴으로부터 분기하는 다수의 중앙부 화소전극으로 이루어지며, 상기 공통전극은 판 형상을 갖는 프린지 필드 스위칭 모드 액정표시장치용 어레이기판.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 박막트랜지스터는 폴리실리콘 반도체층을 포함하는 프린지 필드 스위칭 모드 액정표시장치용 어레이기판.
- 제 7 항에 있어서,
상기 폴리실리콘 반도체층은 다결정실리콘으로 이루어지는 LTPS(low temperature poly-silicon, 저온폴리실리콘)형인 프린지 필드 스위칭 모드 액정표시장치용 어레이기판.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 박막트랜지스터는 비정질실리콘 반도체층을 포함하는 프린지 필드 스위칭 모드 액정표시장치용 어레이기판.
