Abstract
본 발명의 바람직한 실시예에 따른 액정표시장치는, 복수의 전극 및 배선이 형성된 베이스 부와, 그 베이스 부의 전면에 본딩되는 제어소자, 그리고, 베이스 부와 외부 시스템을 전기적으로 연결하는 플렉서블 부와, 베이스 부의 배면에 부착되며, 복수의 다각형 패턴이 형성된 배면 보강판을 포함한다.
이에 따라, 본 발명은 연성회로기판의 배면에 부착되는 배면 보강판에 다각형 패턴을 형성함으로서 SMT 공정시 기판과의 열 수축특성 차이에 기인한 구동회로기판의 휨 현상을 방지할 수 있다.

도 3은 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 구동회로기판을 도시한 도면이다.
도 4는 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 구동회로기판의 배면 및 이에 부착된 배면 보강판의 일부 영역을 확대한 도면이다.
도 5는 본 발명의 구동회로기판을 포함하는 액정표시장치를 도시한 분해사시도이다.
도 6은 본 발명의 구동회로기판의 SMT 공정을 설명하기 위한 순서도이다.

Claims (10)
- 복수의 전극 및 배선이 형성된 베이스 부;
상기 베이스 부의 전면에 본딩되는 제어소자;
상기 베이스 부와 외부 시스템을 전기적으로 연결하는 플렉서블 부; 및,
상기 베이스 부의 배면에 부착되며, 폴리 이미드 필름(polyimide film)으로 이루어진복수의 정육각형 패턴이 서로 소정 거리를 두고 이격되어 형성된 배면 보강판을 포함하는 구동회로기판. - 삭제

- 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 복수의 정육각형 패턴은, 대향하는 두 꼭지점간의 거리가 4.5 mm 이상 5.5 mm 이하인 것을 특징으로 하는 구동회로기판. - 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 복수의 정육각형 패턴은, 이웃하는 다각형 패턴간 이격거리가 0.7 mm 이상 0.9 mm 이하인 것을 특징으로 하는 구동회로기판. - 제 6 항에 있어서,
상기 복수의 정육각형 패턴은, 더미부를 통해 서로 연결되고,
상기 더미부의 폭은 0.4 이상 0.6 mm 이하인 것을 특징으로 하는 구동회로기판. - 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 복수의 정육각형 패턴은,
상기 제어소자가 본딩되는 영역에 대응하여 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 구동회로기판. - 구동IC가 실장된 액정패널;
상기 액정패널의 적어도 일측에 접속되어 상기 구동IC와 전기적으로 연결되는 구동회로기판; 및
상기 액정패널의 배면에 배치되는 백라이트 유닛으로 이루어지고,
상기 구동회로기판은,
복수의 전극 및 배선이 형성된 베이스 부;
상기 베이스 부의 전면에 본딩되는 제어소자;
상기 베이스 부와 상기 액정패널을 전기적으로 연결하는 플렉서블 부; 및,
상기 베이스 부의 배면에 부착되며, 폴리 이미드 필름(polyimide film)으로 이루어진 복수의 정육각형 패턴이 서로 소정 거리를 두고 이격되어 형성된 배면 보강판을 포함하는 액정표시장치. - 제 9 항에 있어서,
상기 구동회로기판은,
상기 플렉서블 부가 휘어짐에 따라, 상기 액정패널의 배면에 배치되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
