Claims (22)
- 하나 이상의 금속 산화물로 코팅된 플레이크형 기재 또는 코팅되지 않은 플레이크형 기재에 기초한 효과 안료로서,
상기 기재 상에, 외부 코팅으로서
(a) TiO2,
(b) Al2O3, MgO 및/또는 CaO,
(c) SiO2, 및
(d) ZnO, 및/또는
(e) (a) 내지 (d)에서 언급된 원소의 하나 이상의 혼합된 산화물
을 포함하는 금속 산화물-함유 하소된 코팅을 포함하고, 이때 상기 금속 산화물-함유 하소된 코팅이, 상응하는 간섭 색상의 물리적 층의 두께보다 20% 이상 큰 두께를 가짐을 특징으로 하는, 효과 안료. - 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 금속 산화물-함유 하소된 코팅이
(a) TiO2,
(b) Al2O3, MgO 및/또는 CaO,
(c) SiO2, 및
(d) ZnO, 및/또는
(e) 상기 원소의 하나 이상의 혼합된 산화물
로 구성됨을 특징으로 하는, 효과 안료. - 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 금속 산화물-함유 하소된 코팅이
(a) TiO2,
(b) Al2O3, MgO 및/또는 CaO,
(c) SiO2, 및
(d) ZnO, 및/또는
(e) 상기 원소의 하나 이상의 혼합된 산화물
로 구성되고,
상기 코팅이, Al, Mg, Ca, Si 및 Zn 산화물 및/또는 혼합된 산화물을 안료 표면에서 시작하여 증가되는 농도로 포함함을 특징으로 하는, 효과 안료. - 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 금속 산화물-함유 하소된 코팅이 TiO2, Al2O3, SiO2 및 ZnO 및/또는 상기 원소의 하나 이상의 혼합된 산화물로 구성됨을 특징으로 하는, 효과 안료. - 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 금속 산화물-함유 하소된 코팅이 TiO2, Al2O3, SiO2 및 ZnO 및/또는 상기 원소의 하나 이상의 혼합된 산화물로 구성되고,
상기 코팅이, Al, Mg, Ca, Si 및 Zn 산화물 및/또는 혼합된 산화물을 안료 표면에서 시작하여 증가되는 농도로 포함함을 특징으로 하는, 효과 안료. - 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 효과 안료가, 상기 안료의 총 중량에 기초하여, 상기 금속 산화물-함유 하소된 코팅에 20 중량% 이상의 TiO2, 0.5 중량% 이상의 ZnO, 0.1 중량% 이상의 Al2O3 및 1.5 중량% 이상의 SiO2를 포함함을 특징으로 하는, 효과 안료. - 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 효과 안료가, 외부 층으로서 하소된 TiO2 층을 포함하는 안료의 비표면적과 비교하여 30 내지 80% 감소된 비표면적을 가짐을 특징으로 하는, 효과 안료. - 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 플레이크형 기재가 합성 또는 천연 운모 플레이크, 유리 플레이크, SiO2 플레이크 및 Al2O3 플레이크로부터 선택됨을 특징으로 하는, 효과 안료. - 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 플레이크형 기재가 합성 또는 천연 운모 플레이크로부터 선택됨을 특징으로 하는, 효과 안료. - 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 플레이크형 기재가 알루미늄, 규소, 철, 주석, 티탄의 산화물 및/또는 수화된 산화물, 및 이들 산화물들의 혼합물로 코팅된 것임을 특징으로 하는, 효과 안료. - 제 10 항에 있어서,
티탄 산화물이 금홍석(rutile) 또는 예추석(anatase) 형태임을 특징으로 하는, 효과 안료. - 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 안료의 금속 산화물-함유 하소된 코팅이 50 nm 이상의 두께를 가짐을 특징으로 하는, 효과 안료. - 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 금속 산화물-함유 하소된 코팅이, 상응하는 간섭 색상의 물리적 층의 두께보다 40% 이상 큰 두께를 가짐을 특징으로 하는, 효과 안료. - 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 금속 산화물-함유 하소된 코팅이, 상응하는 간섭 색상의 물리적 층의 두께보다 50 내지 80% 큰 두께를 가짐을 특징으로 하는, 효과 안료. - 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 금속 산화물-함유 하소된 코팅이, 상응하는 간섭 색상의 물리적 층의 두께보다 100% 이상 큰 두께를 가짐을 특징으로 하는, 효과 안료. - (a) 하나 이상의 금속 산화물로 코팅된 플레이크형 기재 또는 코팅되지 않은 플레이크형 기재를 습식 화학법에 의해 (i) Ti, (ii) Zn, (iii) Al, Mg 및/또는 Ca, 및 (iv) Si의 산화물, 수산화물 및/또는 수화된 산화물로 코팅하는 단계, 및
(b) 단계 a)에서 코팅된 플레이크형 기재를 하소하는 단계
를 포함함을 특징으로 하는, 제 1 항 내지 제 15 항 중 어느 한 항에 따른 효과 안료의 제조 방법. - 제 16 항에 있어서,
단계 a)에서, 기재가 수용액 중에 현탁되고, (i) Ti, (ii) Zn, (iii) Al; 또는 Al, Mg 또는 Ca; 또는 Al, Mg 및 Ca, 및 (iv) Si의 염 용액이 염의 가수분해에 적합한 pH에서 첨가되되, 이때 pH가 금속 산화물 또는 수산화물 또는 수화된 산화물이 기재 상에 증착되도록 선택되는, 제조 방법. - 제 16 항에 있어서,
단계 a)에서, (i) Ti, 및 (iii) Al; 또는 Al, Mg 및/또는 Ca의 염 용액이 동시에 첨가되되, 이때 Ti 염 용액의 일부는 또한 초기에 단독으로 첨가될 수 있음을 특징으로 하는, 제조 방법. - 제 16 항에 있어서,
단계 a)에서, 먼저 Zn 염 용액, 이어서 Al 염 용액, 이어서 Si 염 용액이 첨가됨을 특징으로 하는, 제조 방법. - 제 16 항에 있어서,
단계 a)에서, Si 및 Al 염 용액이 동시에 첨가됨을 특징으로 하는, 제조 방법. - 제 16 항에 따른 방법에 의해 제조된 효과 안료.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 15 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
페인트, 코팅물, 자동차 페인트, 분말 코팅물, 인쇄 잉크, 보안 인쇄 잉크, 플라스틱, 세라믹 물질, 유리 또는 종이에 사용하거나, 종이 코팅, 전자사진 인쇄 공정용 토너, 종자, 온실 시팅 또는 타폴린(tarpauline)에 사용하거나, 종이 또는 플라스틱의 레이저 마킹에서 흡수제로서 사용하거나, 플라스틱의 레이저 용접에서 흡수제로서 사용하거나, 미용 제제에 사용하거나, 물, 유기 및/또는 수성 용매를 사용하는 안료 페이스트의 제조에 사용하거나, 안료 제제 또는 건식 제제의 제조에 사용하기 위한 효과 안료.
