상기 복사선 소스는 상기 에지에 결합되고, 상기 소스 복사선은 상기 복사선 소스로부터 상기 에지를 통해 전송되어 상기 발광제를 여기시키고, 그 후 상기 발광제는 방출된 복사선을 방출하고, 상기 방출된 복사선의 적어도 일부는 탈출 콘을 통해 상기 넓은 표면들 중 적어도 하나를 통해 출사되고,
상기 넓은 표면들 중 하나 또는 양자 모두로부터 방출되는 복사선은, 하나의 넓은 표면 상의 모든 위치에서 측정된 복사선이 상기 넓은 표면으로부터 방출되는 평균 복사선의 40% 이하이도록 균일한,
