- 대형 저속 2-행정 터보차지 자기 점화 내연 기관의 연소실로 저인화점 액체 연료를 분사하기 위한 연료 밸브(50)에 있어서, 상기 연료 밸브(50)는,
후단부와 전단부를 구비하는 길다란 연료 밸브 하우징(33,52),
다수의 노즐 홀(56)을 구비하는 별도의 노즐(54), 상기 노즐(54)은 상기 길다란 연료 밸브 하우징(33,52)의 전단부에 부착되고, 상기 노즐 홀(56)들은 상기 노즐(54)에 걸쳐 방사상으로 분포되며,
가압 저인화점 액체 연료 공급원(60)으로의 연결을 위한, 상기 길다란 연료 밸브 하우징(52) 내의 저인화점 액체 연료 유입 포트(53),
가압 작동 유체공급원(97)으로의 연결을 위해 구성된, 상기 길다란 연료 밸브 하우징(52) 내의 작동액 유입 및 배출 포트(78),

상기 펌프 피스톤(80)은 상기 작동 피스톤(83)에 연결되어 이와 함께 일체로 이동하고,
상기 작동 챔버(85)는 상기 길다란 밸브 하우징(33,52) 내의 도관을 통해 상기 작동액 포트(78)에 직접 연결되고,
상기 펌프 챔버(82)는 상기 연료 챔버(58)에 연결되는 배출구 및 상기 연료 유입 포트(53)에 연결되는 유입구를 갖고,

- 제 4 항에 있어서,
상기 밀봉액 압력 부스터는 상기 밀봉액의 압력을 상기 펌프 챔버(82) 내의 연료의 최대 압력보다 높은 압력으로 상승시키도록 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 연료 밸브(50).
- 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 제 1 보어(81)와 상기 펌프 피스톤(80) 사이의 상기 간극은 밀봉액에 의해 제공되는 윤활을 필요로 하는 좁은 간극인 것을 특징으로 하는 연료 밸브(50).
- 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 펌프 피스톤(80)은 펌프 피스톤(80)의 하부의 직경(D1)과 비교할 때 약간 확대된 직경(D2)을 갖는 상부를 구비하고, 상기 펌프 피스톤(80)이 수용되는 보어(81)의 상부는 대응되는 확대된 직경(D2)을 갖는 반면, 보어(81)의 하부는 직경(D1)을 가짐으로써 링 챔버(99)를 형성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 연료 밸브(50).
- 제 7 항에 있어서,
상기 펌프 피스톤(80)의 상부는 펌프 피스톤(80)이 펌프 행정을 할 때 링 챔버(99)의 부피를 줄이는 밀봉액 부스터 피스톤을 형성하고, 상기 링 챔버(99)는 체크 밸브(91)를 통해 밀봉액 공급원에 연결되는 것을 특징으로 하는 연료 밸브(50).
- 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 따른 연료 밸브(50)를 포함하는 저인화점 연료 공급 시스템에 있어서, 제어된 압력(Psl)을 갖는 밀봉액 공급원 및 제어된 압력(Pf)을 갖는 액체 연료 공급원을 더 포함하고, Psl은 Pf보다 높은 것을 특징으로 하는 저인화점 연료 공급 시스템.
- 제 9 항에 있어서,
Psl은 펌프 행정 동안 펌프 챔버(82) 내의 최대 압력보다 낮고, 이러한 Psl의 경우, 펌프 행정 동안 상기 간극의 크기 및 상기 펌프 챔버(82) 내의 최대 압력은, 연료가 상기 간극으로 유입되고 상기 펌프 피스톤(80) 길이의 전체가 아닌 일부를 따라 밀봉액을 교체하도록, 상호의존적으로 선택되고, 상기 밀봉액은 또 다른 펌프 행정이 일어나기 전에 상기 간극 내의 실질적으로 모든 연료를 교체하는 것을 특징으로 하는 저인화점 연료 공급 시스템. - 삭제
