도 2는 도 1의 온도 센서의 구조를 나타내는 모식도이다.
Claims (18)
- 온도 센서를 포함하는 전지모듈로서,
전극단자들이 전기적으로 연결된 상태로 순차적 배열되어 있는 둘 이상의 전지셀들;
상기 순차적 배열된 전지셀들의 일측에 장착되어 전지셀들의 전압 및 온도를 검출하는 센싱 보드 어셈블리; 및
상기 센싱 보드 어셈블리의 일측에 구비된 커넥터에 삽입되어 전기적으로 연결되는 온도 센서;
를 포함하고 있으며,
상기 전지셀의 온도를 측정하기 위한 온도 센서는,
전기절연성 소재의 보드에 회로가 인쇄되어 있고 직사각형 형상으로 길게 연장되어 절곡 가능한 구조를 가지는 FPCB(Flexible Printed Circuit board);
상기 FPCB의 일측 단부에 위치하고, 온도 센싱 소자를 포함하는 온도 센싱부; 및
상기 FPCB의 타측 단부에 위치하고, 온도 검출기에 구비된 커넥터에 삽입되어 전기적으로 연결하기 위한 연결단자를 포함하는 접속 삽입부;
를 포함하며,
상기 온도 센싱부가 전지셀 외면에 접촉되는 구조로 장착되어 있고,
상기 온도 센서의 FPCB는 온도 센서가 전지셀 외면에 안정적으로 접촉하기 위하여 전지셀 외면 중앙에 도달하는 길이로 형성된 직선 구간을 포함하고 있으며,
상기 온도 센서의 FPCB는, 접속 삽입부가 센싱 보드 어셈블리의 커넥터에 삽입하는 작업의 용이성을 위해, 상기 직선 구간으로부터 연장되고 센싱 보드 어셈블리 방향으로 절곡되어 있는 절곡 구간을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전지모듈. - 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 온도 센싱 소자는 서미스터(thermistor)인 것을 특징으로 하는 전지모듈.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 온도 센싱부는 FPCB의 일측 단부에서 고분자 수지로 몰딩 되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 전지모듈.
- 제 3 항에 있어서, 상기 고분자 수지는 아크릴계 수지, 실리콘계 수지 및 에폭시 수지로 이루어진 군에서 선택되는 하나 이상의 소재인 것을 특징으로 하는 전지모듈.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 접속 삽입부는 연결단자가 커넥터에 안정적으로 삽입되기 위한 보강부재를 추가로 포함하고 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 전지모듈.
- 제 5 항에 있어서, 상기 보강부재는 접속 삽입부의 연결단자에 대응하는 형상으로 연결단자 상에 부가되는 판상형 부재인 것을 특징으로 하는 전지모듈.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 온도 검출기는 전지모듈의 온도 센싱 어셈블리인 것을 특징으로 하는 전지모듈.

- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 전지셀은 판상형 전지셀인 것을 특징으로 하는 전지모듈.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 전지셀은 금속층과 수지층을 포함하는 라미네이트 시트의 케이스에 전극조립체가 내장된 파우치형 전지셀인 것을 특징으로 하는 전지모듈.
- 제 9 항에 있어서, 상기 판상형 전지셀은 일측 단부에 양극 단자 및 음극 단자가 돌출되어 있는 구조로 이루어진 것을 특징으로 하는 전지모듈.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 전지셀들의 전극단자들은 직렬 또는 병렬로 연결되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 전지모듈.
- .제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 온도 센싱부는 순차적 배열된 전지셀들 중에서 최외각에 위치한 전지셀의 외면에 접촉되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 전지모듈.

- 제 1 항 내지 제 7 항 및 제 9 항 내지 제 13 항 중 어느 하나에 따른 전지모듈을 포함하고 있는 전지팩으로서, 둘 이상의 전지모듈들이 밀착 배열되어 있는 구조의 전지모듈 어셈블리가 트레이(tray) 어셈블리의 상면에 탑재되어 있는 구조로 이루어진 것을 특징으로 하는 전지팩.
- 제 16 항에 따른 전지팩을 하나 이상 포함하는 디바이스.
- 제 17 항에 있어서, 상기 디바이스는 파워 툴, 전기자동차, 하이브리드 전기자동차, 플러그-인 하이브리드 전기자동차, 및 전력저장 장치로 이루어진 군에서 선택되는 어느 하나인 것을 특징으로 하는 디바이스.
