Abstract
Description
도 2는 본 발명에 따른 전면판 일체형 액정 표시 패널에 있어서의 바람직한 층 구성의 예를 도시하는 개략 단면도이다.
도 3은 전면측 편광판이 접합된 액정 셀을 모식적으로 도시하는 사시도이다.
도 4는 도 3에 도시되는 IV-IV선에 있어서의 단면 모식도이다.
도 5는 실시예 1에서 제작한 전면판 일체형 액정 표시 패널의 층 구성을 도시하는 개략 단면도이다.
도 6은 실시예 2에서 제작한 전면판 일체형 액정 표시 패널의 층 구성을 도시하는 개략 단면도이다.
Claims (8)
- 전면측 편광판 및 그 시인측에 배치되는 영율이 2 GPa 이상인 전면판으로 구성되는, 액정 셀의 시인측에 배치되는 전면판 일체형 편광판과, 상기 액정 셀의 배면측에 배치되는 배면측 편광판과의 셋트로서,
유리 기판에 접합하여, 85℃에서 500시간 가열했을 때의 상기 전면측 편광판에 있어서의 흡수축 방향의 수축량을 X, 상기 배면측 편광판에 있어서의 흡수축 방향의 수축량을 Y로 할 때,
상기 수축량 X가 상기 수축량 Y보다도 작고,
상기 수축량 Y가 0.5 mm 이하이며,
상기 전면측 편광판 및 상기 배면측 편광판은 각각, 상기 액정 셀에 접합하기 위한 점착제층을 구비하고,
상기 전면측 편광판이 구비하는 점착제층 및 상기 배면측 편광판이 구비하는 점착제층의 두께가 모두 5∼50 ㎛인 편광판의 셋트. - 제1항에 있어서, 상기 수축량 X가 0.5 mm 이하인 편광판의 셋트.
- 제1항에 있어서,
상기 전면측 편광판 및 상기 배면측 편광판은 긴 변과 짧은 변을 갖는 사각형 형상을 갖고 있고,
상기 전면측 편광판은 그 흡수축이 짧은 변 방향과 평행하거나 또는 이루는 각도가 ±7도 이내이고,
상기 배면측 편광판은 그 흡수축이 긴 변 방향과 평행하거나 또는 이루는 각도가 ±7도 이내인 편광판의 셋트. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 전면측 편광판 및 상기 배면측 편광판은 각각,
폴리비닐알코올계 수지 필름으로 이루어지는 편광자와,
상기 편광자의 적어도 한쪽의 면에 적층되는 보호층
을 추가로 구비하는 편광판의 셋트. - 제4항에 있어서,
상기 전면측 편광판 및 상기 배면측 편광판의 적어도 한쪽은, 상기 편광자에 있어서의 액정 셀 측의 면에 적층되는 액정 셀 측 보호층을 구비하고,
상기 액정 셀 측 보호층은 면내 위상차를 갖는 편광판의 셋트. - 제4항에 있어서, 상기 배면측 편광판은, 액정 셀과는 반대쪽의 최표면에 적층되는, 상기 편광자 및 상기 보호층 이외의 다른 광학층을 추가로 구비하는 편광판의 셋트.
- 제1항 내지 제6항 중 어느 한 항에 기재한 편광판의 셋트와 액정 셀을 구비하고,
상기 액정 셀의 시인측에 상기 전면판 일체형 편광판이 그 전면측 편광판 측에서 접합되어 있고, 상기 액정 셀의 배면측에 상기 배면측 편광판이 접합되어 있는 전면판 일체형 액정 표시 패널. - 제7항에 있어서, 85℃에서 240시간 가열했을 때의 휘어짐량이 절대값으로 0.5 mm 이하인 전면판 일체형 액정 표시 패널.
