본 발명은 컨텐츠제공시스템 및 그 컨텐츠제공방법, 디스플레이장치 및 그 제어방법에 관한 것으로, 본 발명에 따른 컨턴츠제공시스템은 컨텐츠의 구매를 위한 사용자단말기와; 상기 사용자단말기에 의해 구매된 제1컨텐츠의 구매내역정보를 저장하고, 상기 구매된 제1컨텐츠의 구매내역정보에 기초하여 제2컨텐츠를 제공하는 컨텐츠제공서버와; 상기 컨텐츠제공서버에 상기 구매된 제1컨텐츠의 구매내역정보에 대응하는 이용권한정보를 전송하고, 상기 컨텐츠제공서버로부터 상기 제2컨텐츠를 수신하는 디스플레이장치를 포함한다.
이에 의하여, 사용자가 사용자단말기를 이용하여 구매한 컨텐츠에 대응하는 디스플레이용 컨텐츠를 디스플레이장치에서도 이용할 수 있어 사용자의 편리성을 도모할 수 있다.

컨텐츠제공시스템 및 그 컨텐츠제공방법, 디스플레이장치 및 그 제어방법{Contents supply system and contents supply method thereof, display device and control method thereof}
본 발명은 컨텐츠제공시스템 및 그 컨텐츠제공방법, 디스플레이장치 및 그 제어방법에 관한 것으로서, 보다 상세하게는 컨텐츠를 디스플레이장치에 제공할 수 있는 컨텐츠제공시스템 및 그 컨텐츠제공방법, 디스플레이장치 및 그 제어방법에 관한 것이다.
모바일단말기는 전화 기능 뿐만 아니라, 게임, 뉴스, 날씨등의 생활정보, 음악, 만화등 다양한 컨텐츠를 제공하고 있으며, 이러한 컨텐츠는 컨텐츠제공서버로부터 구매할 수 있다. 모바일단말기는 PC 와 같이 네트워크를 통하여 다양한 서버에 접속할 수 있고, 사용자가 원하는 컨텐츠를 자유롭게 구매할 수 있다.
TV의 경우도, 방송 뿐만 아니라, 멀티미디어 기능을 제공하며, 네트워크를 통하여 컨텐츠제공서버에 접속할 수 있다. TV는 컨텐츠제공서버로부터 다양한 컨텐츠를 제공받아 화면에 디스플레이하여 사용자가 용이하게 정보를 알 수 있도록 한다.
사용자가 모바일단말기를 이용하여 컨텐츠를 구매하여 이용하는 경우, 동일한 컨텐츠를 TV 에서도 이용하기를 원하는 경우가 많다. 이런 경우, 사용자가 TV를 통하여 다시 컨텐츠를 구매해야 되는데, 이는 사용자에게 불편을 줄 수 있고, 이중으로 비용을 지불해야 된다는 문제가 발생한다.
따라서, 본 발명의 목적은 사용자가 모바일단말기등 사용자단말기를 이용하여 구매한 컨텐츠에 대응하는 디스플레이용 컨텐츠를 디스플레이장치에 제공할 수 있는 컨텐츠제공시스템 및 그 컨텐츠제공방법, 디스플레이장치 및 그 제어방법을 제공하는 것이다.
상기 목적은, 본 발명에 따라, 컨텐츠의 구매를 위한 사용자단말기와; 상기 사용자단말기에 의해 구매된 제1컨텐츠의 구매내역정보를 저장하고, 상기 구매된 제1컨텐츠의 구매내역정보에 기초하여 제2컨텐츠를 제공하는 컨텐츠제공서버와; 상기 컨텐츠제공서버에 상기 구매된 제1컨텐츠의 구매내역정보에 대응하는 이용권한정보를 전송하고, 상기 컨텐츠제공서버로부터 상기 제2컨텐츠를 수신하는 디스플레이장치를 포함하는 컨텐츠제공시스템에 의해 달성될 수 있다.
여기서, 컨텐츠제공서버는, 상기 사용자단말기에 상기 제1컨텐츠를 제공하는 제1컨텐츠제공서버와; 상기 디스플레이장치에 상기 제2컨텐츠를 제공하는 제2컨텐츠제공서버를 포함할 수 있다.
또한, 제1 컨텐츠제공서버는 상기 구매된 제1 컨텐츠의 구매내역정보를 상기 제2 컨텐츠제공서버에 제공하고, 상기 제2 컨텐츠제공서버는 상기 디스플레이장치로부터 상기 이용권한정보를 수신하여, 상기 제1 컨텐츠의 구매내역정보와 상기 이용권한 정보의 대응여부에 따라 상기 제2컨텐츠를 상기 디스플레이장치에 제공할 수 있다.
또한, 컨텐츠제공서버는 상기 디스플레이장치의 접속시 상기 제1컨텐츠의 구매가 있었음을 알려주고, 상기 디스플레이장치의 수용 여부에 대응하여 상기 제2컨텐츠를 제공할 수 있다.
또한, 디스플레이장치는 상기 컨텐츠제공서버에 상기 제2컨텐츠를 요청하여, 상기 제2컨텐츠를 제공받을 수 있으며, 사용자의 입력에 기초하여 상기 이용권한정보를 전송할 수 있다.
또한, 제2 컨텐츠는 상기 제1 컨텐츠에 대응되는 디스플레이용 컨텐츠일 수 있다.
또한, 구매내역정보는 상기 제1컨텐츠를 구매한 사용자의 제1식별정보를 포함하고, 상기 이용권한정보는 상기 제1컨텐츠를 구매한 사용자의 제2식별정보를 포함하며, 상기 컨텐츠제공서버는 상기 제1식별정보와 상기 제2식별정보의 일치 여부를 확인하여 제2컨텐츠를 제공할 수 있다.
한편, 상기 목적은, 본 발명에 따라 영상신호를 수신하는 신호수신부와; 상기 신호수신부에 의해 수신되는 상기 영상신호를 처리하는 영상처리부와; 상기 영상처리부에 의해 처리되는 영상신호에 기초하여 영상을 디스플레이하는 디스플레이부와; 네트워크를 통하여, 사용자단말기에 의해 구매된 제1컨텐츠의 구매내역정보를 저장하고, 상기 구매된 제1컨텐츠의 구매내역정보에 기초하여 제2컨텐츠를 제공하는 컨텐츠제공서버와 통신하는 통신부와; 상기 컨텐츠제공서버에 상기 구매된 제1컨텐츠의 구매내역정보에 대응하는 이용권한정보를 전송하고, 상기 컨텐츠제공서 버로부터 상기 제2컨텐츠를 수신하는 제어부를 포함하는 디스플레이장치에 의해 달성될 수 있다.
여기서, 디스플레이장치는 사용자의 입력을 수신하는 사용자 입력부를 더 포함하며, 상기 제어부는 상기 사용자의 입력에 기초하여 상기 이용권한정보를 전송할 수 있다.

이상 설명한 바와 같이, 본 발명에 따르면 사용자가 사용자단말기를 이용하여 구매한 컨텐츠에 대응하는 컨텐츠를 컨텐츠제공서버가 디스플레이장치에 제공할 수 있어, 사용자는 컨텐츠에 대한 비용을 중복 지불하지 않고 간편하게 디스플레이장치에서 이용할 수 있다.
이하, 첨부한 도면을 참고로 하여 본 발명의 실시예들에 대하여 본 발명이 속하는 기술 분야에서 통상의 지식을 가진 자가 용이하게 실시할 수 있도록 상세히 설명한다. 본 발명은 여러 가지 상이한 형태로 구현될 수 있으며 여기에서 설명하는 실시예들에 한정되지 않는다. 본 발명을 명확하게 설명하기 위해서 설명과 관계없는 부분은 생략하였으며, 명세서 전체를 통하여 동일 또는 유사한 구성요소에 대해서는 동일한 참조부호를 붙이도록 한다.
도 1은 본 발명의 일 실시예에 의한 컨텐츠제공시스템(11)을 나타내는 도면 이다. 도 1을 참조하면, TV(10), 모바일단말기(13), 컨텐츠제공서버(12)는 인터넷(14)를 이용하여 접속할 수 있다. 여기서, 본 발명의 일 실시예에 의한 컨텐츠제공시스템(11)은 PDA(미도시), PC(미도시) 같은 전자장치도 포함될 수 있으며, 본 발명의 일 실시예에 의한 컨텐츠제공시스템(11)을 구성하는 디스플레이장치(10)는 TV(10)를 일예로 설명한다.
컨텐츠제공서버(12)는 다양한 컨텐츠를 판매할 수 있다. 여기서 컨텐츠는 만화, 게임, 캐릭터, 위젯으로 제공되는 날씨, 증권, 시계, 뉴스 등이 될 수 있다. 사용자는 모바일단말기(13)를 이용하여 컨텐츠제공서버(12)에 접속한 후 컨텐츠를 구매할 수 있다. 사용자는 컨텐츠제공서버(12)에 접속한 후 아이디 및 비밀번호를 입력하여 사용자 확인 후 컨텐츠를 구매하거나, 별도의 사용자 확인 없이 컨텐츠를 구매하고, 온라인 결재 방식으로 컨텐츠를 구매할 수도 있다.
또한, 컨텐츠제공서버(12)는 사용자가 모바일단말기(13)에서 표시될 수 있는 컨텐츠(이하, '제1컨텐츠'라 한다.)를 구매하는 경우, 제1컨텐츠에 대응하는 TV(10)에서 표시될 수 있는 컨텐츠(이하, '제2컨텐츠'라 한다.)를 사용자에게 제공할 수 있다.
한편, 컨텐츠제공서버(12)는 복수의 사용자에 대한 사용자 관련 정보를 저장할 수 있다. 즉, 사용자 이름, 아이디, 비밀번호, 사용자의 모바일단말기(13) 및 TV(10)의 시리얼번호등에 관한 사항을 저장할 수 있다. 따라서, 사용자가 모바일단말기(13)를 이용하여 제1컨텐츠를 구매한 경우 컨텐츠제공서버(12)는 구매된 제1컨텐츠의 구매내역정보를 저장한다. 여기서, 구매내역정보는 사용자 아이디 및 비밀 번호, 컨텐츠 종류, 구매일시등을 포함할 수 있다.
또한, 컨텐츠제공서버(12)는 다수 운영될 수 있다. 따라서, 사용자는 직접 컨텐츠제공서버(12)를 찾아 접속할 수 있고, 컨텐츠제공서버(12)를 관리하는 통합 서버를 통하여 접속할 수도 있다. TV(10) 또는 모바일단말기(13)가 컨텐츠제공서버(12)에 접속하는 경우, 컨텐츠제공서버(12)는 사용자 아이디 및 비밀번호를 이용하여 사용자 확인 후 접속을 허용할 수 있다. 또는, TV(10) 또는 모바일단말기(13)의 시리얼 번호를 이용하여 접속을 허용할 수도 있다.
컨텐츠제공서버(12)는 사용자가 TV(10)를 이용하여 제2컨텐츠를 요청하는 경우, 사용자에게 제2컨텐츠의 이용권한이 있는지 확인한다. 즉, 저장된 제1컨텐츠의 구매내역에 포함된 사용자 아이디 및 비밀번호와 TV(10)로부터 입력된 사용자 아이디 및 비밀번호를 비교한다. 아이디 및 비밀번호가 일치하면, 사용자에게 이용권한이 있는 것으로 판단하여 제2컨텐츠를 TV(10)에 전송한다.
여기서, TV(10)가 컨텐츠제공서버(12)에 접속시, 사용자 아이디 및 비밀번호를 입력한 경우에는 컨텐츠제공서버(12)는 아이디 및 비밀번호의 일치여부를 확인한 뒤, 제2컨텐츠를 제공할 수 있다. 다만, TV(10)가 컨텐츠제공서버(12)에 접속시 TV(10)의 시리얼번호만 확인한 경우에는, 사용자가 제2컨텐츠를 요청하는 경우 컨텐츠제공서버(12)는 사용자에게 제2컨텐츠의 이용권한정보를 요청한다. TV(10)로부터 사용자의 제2컨텐츠의 이용권한정보가 전송되면, 사용자가 제2 컨텐츠의 이용권한이 있는지 여부를 판단한다. 여기서, 이용권한정보는 사용자의 아이디 및 비밀번호를 포함한다.
한편, 컨텐츠제공서버(12)는 사용자가 제1 컨텐츠를 구매한 경우, 사용자가 먼저 제2 컨텐츠를 요청하지 않아도, 제2컨텐츠를 TV(10)로 전송할 수 있다. 즉, 컨텐츠제공서버(12)에 TV(10)가 접속하면, 컨텐츠제공서버(12)는 사용자가 입력하는 아이디 및 비밀번호가 제1컨텐츠의 구매내역정보에 포함된 아이디 및 비밀번호와 일치하는지 확인한다. 일치하는 경우, 컨텐츠제공서버(12)는 사용자에게 제1 컨텐츠의 구매사실을 알려주고, 구매된 컨텐츠에 대응하는 제2컨텐츠의 다운로드 수용여부를 묻는다. 사용자가 수용하면, 제2컨텐츠를 제공한다. 이때, 다운로드의 수용여부를 묻기위해, 제2컨텐츠 관련 정보를 TV(10)에 전송하여, 사용자가 제2컨텐츠가 어떤 내용을 담고 있는지 알게 할 수 있다. 또한, 사용자가 컨텐츠 관련 정보를 용이하게 알 수 있도록, 소리, 문자 캐릭터 등의 알림정보를 함께 전송할 수 있다.
한편, 다른 실시예로서, 컨텐츠제공서버(12)를 컨텐츠판매서버(미도시)와 컨텐츠제공서버(미도시)로 분리할 수 있다. 컨텐츠판매서버는 모바일단말기(13)등에 컨텐츠를 판매하는 서버이며, 컨텐츠제공서버는 TV(10)에 컨텐츠를 제공하는 서버이다. 사용자가 모바일단말기(13)를 이용하여 컨텐츠판매서버로부터 제1컨텐츠를 구매하면, 컨텐츠판매서버는 제1컨텐츠의 구매내역을 컨텐츠제공서버에 제공한다. 여기서 구매내역은 사용자 아이디, 비밀번호, 컨텐츠 구매일시, 제2컨텐츠를 포함할 수 있다. TV(10)가 컨텐츠제공서버에 접속하면, 컨텐츠제공서버는 TV(10) 사용자의 아이디 및 비밀번호등을 이용하여 사용자의 제2컨텐츠 이용권한을 확인한다. 이용권한이 있는 경우, 컨텐츠제공서버 는 TV(10)에 제2컨텐츠를 제공한다.
도 2는 본 발명의 일 실시예에 의한 컨텐츠제공시스템(11)을 구성하는 디스플레이장치(10)의 구성을 나타내는 도면이다. 도 2를 참조하면, 본 실시예에 의한 디스플레이장치(10)는 신호수신부(140), 신호처리부(105), 디스플레이부(110), 제어부(120), 통신부(150) 및 사용자입력부(130)를 포함할 수 있다.
신호수신부(140)는 외부로부터 영상신호를 수신한다. 신호수신부(140)에 의해 수신되는 영상신호는 DTV신호, 케이블방송신호 등과 같은 방송신호를 포함한다. 이 경우, 신호수신부(140)는 제어부(120)의 제어에 따라 사용자가 선택한 채널의 방송신호를 튜닝하여 수신할 수 있다. 또한, 신호수신부(140)에 의해 수신되는 영상신호는 DVD, BD 등과 같은 영상기기로부터 출력되는 신호를 포함할 수 있다.
신호처리부(105)는 신호수신부(140)에 의해 수신되는 영상신호를 수신하여 디스플레이부(110)에 영상이 디스플레이될 수 있도록 소정의 신호처리를 수행한다. 신호처리부(105)에 의해 수행되는 신호처리는, 영상신호에 관한 디코딩, 이미지 인핸싱, 스케일링 등을 포함한다. 또한, 신호처리부(105)는 컨텐츠제공서버(12)로부터 제2컨텐츠를 수신받은 경우, 수신받은 제2컨텐츠가 디스플레이될 수 있도록 처리한다.
디스플레이부(110)는 신호처리부(105)에 의해 처리된 영상신호에 기초하여 영상을 디스플레이한다. 또한, 디스플레이부(110)는 신호처리부(105)에 의해 처리된 제2컨텐츠를 표시할 수도 있다.
통신부(150)는 인터넷 등과 같은 네트워크를 통해 컨텐츠제공서버(12)와 통신을 수행하며, TCP/IP 기반으로 유선 또는 무선통신이 가능하다. 통신부(150)는 제어부(120)의 제어에 따라 통신을 수행하며, 컨텐츠제공서버(12)에 정보를 전달하거나, 컨텐츠제공서버(12)로부터 정보를 수신할 수 있다. 본 실시예에서 통신부(150)는 사용자가 입력하는 제2컨텐츠의 이용권한정보를 컨텐츠제공서버(12)에 전달하며, 컨텐츠제공서버(12)로부터 제2컨텐츠를 수신받을 수 있다. 여기서, 제2컨텐츠에 대한 이용권한정보는 사용자의 아이디 및 비밀번호가 될 수 있다.
사용자입력부(130)는 사용자의 입력을 수신하기 위한 것으로서, 예컨대 원격 조작을 가능하게 하는 리모컨이나, 디스플레이장치(10)의 본체(도시 안됨)에 마련되는 조작 패널 등으로 구현될 수 있다. 사용자입력부(130)에 의해 수신된 사용자의 입력은 제어부(120)에 전달된다.
제어부(120)는 신호처리부(105)등 디스플레이장치(10)의 다른 구성을 전반적으로 제어한다. 또한, 제어부(120)는 사용자가 사용자입력부(130)를 통해 제2컨텐츠의 이용권한정보를 입력하면, 통신부(150)를 통해 컨텐츠제공서버(12)서버에 전달하도록 하며, 컨텐츠제공서버(12)로부터 수신받은 제2컨텐츠가 디스플레이되도록 한다.
도 3은 본 발명의 일 실시예에 의한 컨텐츠제공시스템(11)을 구성하는 디스플레이장치(10)에서 컨텐츠 관련정보를 디스플레이하는 도면이다.
도3을 참조하면, 본 실시예에 의한 디스플레이장치(10)는 인터넷등을 이용할 수 있는 인터넷 모드에 진입하면, 날씨, 증권, 뉴스 및 부동산 같은 기본 구성(310)이 디스플레이된다. 사용자가 뉴스를 선택하면, 제어부(120)는 사용자가 뉴스를 볼 수 있도록 뉴스서버(미도시)로부터 뉴스정보를 수신하도록 하며 뉴스가 디 스플레이되도록 한다. 통신부(150)를 통하여 컨텐츠제공서버(12)로부터 제2컨텐츠관련정보(300)가 수신되면, 제어부(120)는 제2컨텐츠관련정보(300)를 디스플레이 한다. 이때, 제2컨텐츠관련정보(300)에 포함된 알림정보도 실행되어, 알림 소리가 출력되거나, 캐릭터가 디스플레이될 수 있다. 사용자가 제2컨텐츠관련정보(300)를 보고, 제2컨텐츠의 전송을 수용하면, 컨텐츠제공서버(12)는 제2컨텐츠를 전송한다.
도 4는 본 발명의 일 실시예에 의한 컨텐츠제공시스템(11)을 구성하는 디스플레이장치(10)에서 컨텐츠를 디스플레이하는 도면이다.
컨텐츠제공서버(12)로부터 제2컨텐츠를 수신받으면, 제어부(120)는 수신받은 제2컨텐츠가 디스플레이되도록 한다.
도 4를 참조하면, 본 실시예에 의한 디스플레이장치(10)에 제공된 제2컨텐츠는 시계 위젯(400) 또는 날씨 및 온도 위젯(410)을 예로 든다. 사용자가 본 실시예에 의한 디스플레이장치(10)에서 원하는 방송을 시청하는 경우, 화면에는 영상(420)이 디스플레이된다. 이때, 사용자가 제2컨텐츠(400 및 410)를 실행하면, 화면에는 시계 위젯(400), 날씨 및 온도 위젯(410)이 영상(420)과 함께 디스플레이된다. 이러한 위젯형 컨텐츠(400 및 410)는 실시간으로 데이터를 전송받아 사용자가에게 시간, 온도등을 보여줄 수 있다. 따라서, 사용자는 방송을 보면서도 필요한 정보를 실시간으로 확인할 수 있다.
도 5는 본 발명의 일 실시예에 의한 컨텐츠제공시스템(11)의 동작을 나타내는 흐름도이다. 도 5를 참조하면, 사용자가 모바일단말기(13)를 이용하여 컨텐츠제공서버(12)에서 제1컨텐츠를 구매하면, 컨텐츠제공서버(12)는 제1컨텐츠의 구매내 역정보를 저장한다(500). 이후, 사용자가 TV(10)를 이용하여 제2컨텐츠를 요청하면, 컨텐츠제공서버(12)는 TV(10) 사용자가 제2컨텐츠의 이용권한이 있는지 확인하기위해, 사용자에게 제2컨텐츠에 대한 이용권한정보를 전송하도록 한다(510).
사용자가 제2컨텐츠의 이용권한정보를 전송하면, 컨텐츠제공서버(12)는 제1컨텐츠의 구매내역정보에 포함된 사용자 식별정보와 이용권한정보에 포함된 사용자 식별정보를 비교하여, 일치하면(520의 YES) 제2컨텐츠를 TV(10)에 전송한다(530).
도 6은 본 발명의 일 실시예에 의한 컨텐츠제공시스템(11)을 구성하는 디스플레이장치(10)의 동작을 나타내는 흐름도이다.
도 6을 참조하면, 본 실시예에 의한 디스플레이장치(10)에서 제2 컨텐츠의 디스플레이를 위해 컨텐츠제공서버(12)에 접속한다(600). 접속 후, 컨텐츠제공서버(12) 에서 제2컨텐츠의 이용권한정보를 요청하는 경우, 제어부(120)는 사용자가 입력하는 사용자의 이용권한정보를 컨텐츠제공서버(12)에 전송하도록 한다(610). 전송 후, 컨텐츠제공서버(12)에 저장된 제1컨텐츠의 구매내역정보에 포함된 사용자 식별정보와 사용자가 입력한 제2컨텐츠의 이용권한정보에 포함된 식별정보가 일치하면(620의 YES) 제어부(120)는 컨텐츠제공서버(12)로부터 전송되는 컨텐츠를 수신하여 디스플레이되도록 한다.
비록 본 발명의 몇몇 실시예들이 도시되고 설명되었지만, 본 발명이 속하는 기술분야의 통상의 지식을 가진 당업자라면 본 발명의 원칙이나 정신에서 벗어나지 않으면서 본 실시예를 변형할 수 있음을 알 수 있을 것이다. 발명의 범위는 첨부된 청구항과 그 균등물에 의해 정해질 것이다.

    상기 컨텐츠제공서버에 상기 구매된 제1컨텐츠의 구매내역정보에 대응하는 이용권한정보를 전송하는 단계와;
    상기 컨텐츠제공서버로부터 상기 제2컨텐츠를 수신하는 단계를 포함하고,
    상기 구매내역정보는 상기 제1컨텐츠를 구매한 사용자의 제1식별정보를 포함하고, 상기 이용권한정보는 상기 제1컨텐츠를 구매한 사용자의 제2식별정보를 포함하고,
    상기 컨텐츠제공서버는 상기 제1식별정보와 상기 제2식별정보가 동일한 사용자를 나타내는지를 식별하는 디스플레이장치의 제어방법.
  19. 제18항에 있어서,
    상기 이용권한정보를 전송하는 단계는 사용자의 입력에 기초하여 상기 이용권한정보를 전송하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 디스플레이장치의 제어방법.
  20. 제18항에 있어서,
    상기 이용권한정보를 전송하는 단계는 상기 컨텐츠제공서버에 상기 제2컨텐츠를 요청하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 디스플레이장치의 제어방법.
