Abstract
Description
도 2 는 WLAN 네트워크 사용자로부터 UTMS 네트워크 사용자로의 핸드오프가 WLAN 네트워크로부터 트리거되는 방식을 나타내는 흐름도이다.
도 3은 WLAN 네트워크 사용자로부터 UTMS 네트워크 사용자로의 핸드오프가 UTMS 네트워크로부터 트리거되는 방식을 나타내는 흐름도이다.
도 4 는 도 2 의 흐름도와 유사한 흐름도이며, 여기서 핸드오프는 UTMS 사용자로부터 WLAN 네트워크 사용자로 행해지며, WLAN 네트워크로부터 트리거된다.
도 5 는 도 3 에 도시한 흐름도와 유사한 흐름도이며, 여기서 핸드오프는 WLAN 네트워크 사용자로부터 UMTS 네트워크 사용자로 행해지며, UTMS 네트워크로부터 트리거된다.
Claims (11)
- 통신 세션에 대한 제2 무선 장치로부터의 핸드오프를 수신하는 무선 장치에 있어서,
제1 네트워크를 통해 통신하기 위한 수단;
상기 제1 네트워크를 통해 제1 세션 개시 프로토콜(Session Initiation Protocol; SIP) 메시지 - 상기 제1 SIP 메시지는 상기 통신 세션에 대한 상기 제2 무선 장치로부터의 핸드오버에 대한 요청을 나타냄 - 를 전송하기 위한 수단;
상기 통신 세션에 대한 상기 제2 무선 장치로부터의 핸드오프를 수신하기 위한 수단; 및
상기 제1 SIP 메시지에 응답하는 SIP 200 OK 메시지를 수신하기 위한 수단을 포함하는, 무선 장치. - 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제1 SIP 메시지는 SIP 초대(INVITE) 메시지 또는 SIP 핸드오프 메시지를 포함하는 것인, 무선 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제1 SIP 메시지는 서비스 서버로 전송되는 것인, 무선 장치.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 제1 SIP 메시지는 기존 세션을 식별하기 위한 새로운 정보 엘리먼트들을 갖는 SIP 초대 메시지 또는 새로운 SIP 핸드오프 메시지인 것인, 무선 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제2 무선 장치는 제2 네트워크를 통해 통신하는 것인, 무선 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제2 무선 장치는 상기 제1 네트워크와 상이한 구조(architecture)를 갖는 제2 네트워크를 통해 통신하는 것인, 무선 장치.
- 제1 이동 사용자 장치(user equipment; UE)에 의해 구현되는, 무선 통신 방법에 있어서,
제1 네트워크 및 인터넷 프로토콜(Internet Protocol; IP) 네트워크를 통해 상기 제1 이동 UE로부터 서비스 서버로 제1 세션 개시 프로토콜(Session Initiation Protocol; SIP) 메시지를 전송하는 단계로서, 상기 제1 SIP 메시지는 통신 세션에 대한 제2 UE로부터 상기 제1 이동 UE로의 핸드오버에 대한 요청을 나타내는 것인, 상기 제1 SIP 메시지를 전송하는 단계;
상기 제1 SIP 메시지에 응답하는 SIP 200 OK 메시지를 상기 서비스 서버로부터 수신하는 단계로서, 상기 SIP 200 OK 메시지는 상기 제1 네트워크 및 상기 IP 네트워크를 통해 수신되는 것인, 상기 SIP 200 OK 메시지를 수신하는 단계;
상기 SIP 200 OK 메시지에 응답하는 SIP ACK(acknowledgement) 메시지를 상기 서비스 서버로 전송하는 단계; 및
상기 제1 이동 UE에서 상기 통신 세션을 수신하는 단계를 포함하는, 무선 통신 방법. - 제7항에 있어서, 상기 제1 SIP 메시지는 기존 세션을 식별하기 위한 새로운 정보 엘리먼트들을 갖는 SIP 초대 메시지 또는 새로운 SIP 핸드오프 메시지인 것인, 무선 통신 방법.
- 제7항에 있어서, 상기 제2 UE는 제2 네트워크를 통해 통신하는 것인, 무선 통신 방법.
- 제7항에 있어서, 상기 제2 UE는 상기 제1 네트워크와 상이한 구조를 갖는 제2 네트워크로 통신하는 것인, 무선 통신 방법.
- 실시간 세션에 대한 제1 타입의 무선 장치로부터 상기 제1 타입의 무선 장치와 상이한 제2 타입의 무선 장치로의 핸드오프를 위한 장치로서, 상기 제1 타입의 무선 장치는 제1 타입의 네트워크를 통해 실시간 세션을 수행하고, 상기 제2 타입의 무선 장치는 상기 제1 타입의 네트워크와 상이한 제2 타입의 네트워크를 통해 실시간 세션을 수행할 수 있는 것인, 상기 핸드오프를 위한 장치에 있어서,
활성화 되었을 때 상기 제1 타입의 무선 장치로부터의 핸드오프를 개시하기 위한 수단을 갖는, 상기 제2 타입의 무선 장치;
활성화에 응답하여 상기 제2 타입의 네트워크와의 통신을 확립하기 위한 수단;
상기 제1 타입의 무선 장치로부터 상기 제2 타입의 무선 장치로의 핸드오프(handoff; HO)를 요청하는 세션 개시 프로토콜(Session Initiation Protocol; SIP) 메시지를 상기 제2 타입의 네트워크에 전달하기 위한 수단; 및
상기 SIP 메시지에 응답하여, 상기 HO 요청의 수용을 상기 제2 타입의 무선 장치로 전송하기 위한 수단을 포함하는 상기 제2 타입의 네트워크를 포함하고,
상기 제2 타입의 무선 장치는 상기 수용 메시지에 응답하여 SIP ACK(acknowledgement)를 송신하기 위한 수단을 포함하고,
상기 핸드오프는 상기 제2 타입의 네트워크에 의해 완료되고, 상기 제1 타입의 무선 장치와 계속하는 실시간 세션은 상기 제2 타입의 무선 장치에 의해 대체되는 것인, 핸드오프를 위한 장치.
