도 2는 도 1에 도시된 당류의 추출방법에 따라 측정한, 총 방사선량 및 효소당화 시간에 따른 당류의 수율을 나타낸 그래프.
Claims (11)
- 바이오매스(biomass)의 분자구조를 변화시키도록, 상기 바이오매스를 방사선에 노출시키는 단계;
상기 바이오매스의 화학적 반응 영역을 증가시키도록, 상기 방사선에 노출됨에 의해 화학적 결합관계가 약화된 상기 바이오매스에 NMMO(n-methylmorpholine n-oxide) 혼합용매를 혼합하여 상기 방사선에 노출된 바이오매스를 팽윤(swelling)시키는 단계; 및
상기 NMMO 혼합용매에 의해 팽윤된 상기 바이오매스에 효소를 첨가하여 당류를 추출하는 단계를 포함하고,
상기 바이오매스를 방사선에 노출시키는 단계는, 상기 바이오매스에 총 100 kGy 내지 500 kGy의 방사선을 조사하되, 상기 조사에 의한 열 상승으로 상기 바이오매스에 포함되는 탄수화물 성분의 파괴를 억제하기 위하여 상기 방사선의 조사를 소정의 시간 간격을 두고 조사와 조사의 중단을 반복하도록 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 당류의 추출방법. - 삭제
- 제1항에 있어서,
상기 노출시키는 단계는,
상기 방사선이 조사되는 상기 바이오매스의 표면적을 넓히도록, 상기 바이오매스를 분쇄시켜 분말상태로 만드는 단계; 및
미세화된 상기 바이오매스에 상기 방사선을 조사하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 당류의 추출방법. - 제3항에 있어서,
상기 바이오매스를 팽윤(swelling)시키는 단계는, 고체 상태의 바이오매스에 액체 상태의 팽윤제를 혼합하여 슬러리(slurry)화된 바이오매스를 교반(stirring)하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 당류의 추출방법. - 제4항에 있어서,
상기 바이오매스와 상기 팽윤제의 혼합물에서 상기 바이오매스가 차지하는 중량비는 1% 내지 10%인 것을 특징으로 하는 당류의 추출방법. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 당류의 수율(yield rate)을 결정하도록, 상기 바이오매스에 조사되는 총 방사선량을 조절시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 당류의 추출방법. - 제6항에 있어서,
상기 팽윤된 바이오매스에 효소를 첨가하여 당류를 추출하는 것은, 배양기에서 상기 바이오매스와 상기 효소의 혼합물을 배양하는 단계를 포함하고,
상기 당류의 수율(yield rate)을 결정하도록, 상기 배양 시간을 조절시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 당류의 추출방법. - 제7항에 있어서,
상기 효소는 셀룰라아제(cellulase), 베타-글루코시다아제(beta-glucosidase) 및 이들을 혼합하여 이루어진 혼합물 중 적어도 하나를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 당류의 추출방법. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 바이오매스는 섬유소계(cellulosic) 바이오매스와 목질계(lignocellulosic) 바이오매스 및 이들을 혼합하여 이루어진 혼합물 중 적어도 하나를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 당류의 추출방법. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 방사선의 조사는 감마선, 전자선, 이온빔, 자외선(UV), 엑스선(x-ray), 플라즈마(plasma), 중성자 중 어느 하나를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 당류의 추출방법. - 삭제
