Claims (18)
- 절삭이 매우 어려운 주조재료를 포함하는 재료들의 가공을 위해,
연삭편은 주절삭날(22, 24)이 서로 다른 크기의 날끝각(WSPI, WSPA)을 지닌 최소 두 개의 주절삭면(22, 24)을 갖도록 하며,
멀티엣지 드릴은 반경방향으로 바깥쪽 날끝각(WSPA)이 반경방향으로 안쪽 날끝각(WSPI) 보다 작으며, 반경방향으로 바깥쪽 주절삭날(24)의 날끝각(WSPA)이 95~130°이고, 반경방향으로 안쪽의 주절삭날(22)의 날끝각(WSPI)이 130~150°이며,
두 개의 주절삭날(22, 24) 사이에 놓인 주절삭날(22, 24)의 꺽임부(26)가 드릴 축(28)로부터 0.25~0.4xD(이때 D는 드릴(10)의 호칭지름이다)의 간격(RK)을 갖지며;
두 개의 주절삭날(22, 24)에 개별적으로 여유각(WF22, WF24)을 정할 수 있는 주여유면(42, 44)이 정렬되며,
주절삭날(22, 24)에 정렬된 주여유면들이 주절삭날(22, 24)에 이웃한 면들(42, 44)이 다른 면들(46, 48)보다 작은 절삭각(WF22, WF24)을 갖는 각 두 개의 면들(42, 46과 44, 48)로 이루어지며,
주여유면(46, 48)에서 개구해서 내장형 냉각/윤활로를 형성한 것을 특징으로 하는 드릴.

- 제1항에 있어서, 드릴 바이트 축 방향의 반경방향으로 안쪽 주절삭날(22)이 드릴 중심부(28)로 굴곡 연장하는 것을 특징으로 하는 드릴.
- 제3항에 있어서, 반경방향으로 안쪽 주절삭날(22)의 굴곡부는 라운딩 형상을 하며, 라운딩의 반지름이 0.2~0.26xD이고 D가 드릴(10)의 호칭지름인 것을 특징으로 하는 드릴.
- 제3항에 있어서, 반경방향으로 안쪽 주절삭날(22)의 드릴 바이트로 각도를 형성하는 부분(22B)이 교차연삭편 방식으로 포인트 씨닝(30;thining)에 의해 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 드릴.

- 제1항에 있어서, 내장된 냉각/윤활로의 각 입구(14)가 칩플루트(20)까지 개구되어 연삭되는 것을 특징으로 하는 드릴.
- 제1항에 있어서, 반경방향으로 바깥쪽 주절삭날(24)이 절삭각(134) 부분에 모따기면 갖는데, 상기 모따기면의 반경 방향으로의 확장(ER)은 0.05~0.07XD 범위이고, 원주방향으로의 확장(EU)은 0.025~0.035xD 범위이며, 이 때 D는 드릴(10)의 호칭지름을 나타내는 것을 특징으로 하는 드릴.
- 제1항에 있어서, 드릴 절삭부는 나선형 칩플루트(20)를 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 드릴.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 드릴은 적어도 부분적으로는 HSS 또는 HSS-E를 포함하는 고속도강으로 된 것을 특징으로 하는 드릴.
- 제1항에 있어서, 적어도 절삭부가 초경합금(VHM)을 포함하는 고경도 공구로 이루어진 것을 특징으로 하는 드릴.
- 제14항에 있어서, 드릴의 절삭날 부분의 재료인 고경도 재료가 미세입자-초경합금인 것을 특징으로 하는 드릴.
- 제1항에 있어서, 드릴의 절삭날이 HSS, HSSE 또는 초경합금을 포함하는 고경도 재료로 이루어진 절삭부에 의해 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 드릴.
- 제1항에 따른 드릴을 이용하는 방법으로서, 주강, 내열강 주철 및 GGV 또는 ADI-캐스트로 이루어지는 그룹으로부터 선택된 금속 주조재료가 포함된 높은 인성의 절삭이 쉽지 않은 재료들의 가공에 사용하는 방법.
