Claims (18)
- 측면 발광 장치(100)로서,
기판(102) 상에 배열되되, 상기 기판으로부터 소정 거리에 배치되고 상기 기판의 연장(extension)을 따라 연장하는 산란 반사기(103)에 대면하는 적어도 하나의 발광 다이오드(101)를 포함하고,
상기 반사기(103)는 캐리어(108) 내에 분포된 산란 컴포넌트들(110)을 포함하고, 상기 산란 컴포넌트들(110)은 상기 캐리어(108)의 굴절률과 다른 굴절률을 가지며,
상기 산란 컴포넌트들(110)은 상기 캐리어(108)의 굴절률보다 낮은 굴절률을 갖는 기공들을 포함하는 측면 발광 장치. - 제1항에 있어서, 상기 산란 컴포넌트들(110)은 상기 반사기의 10 내지 70 체적 %를 구성하는 측면 발광 장치.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 캐리어(108)는 실리콘 함유 네트워크를 포함하는 측면 발광 장치.
- 제3항에 있어서, 상기 실리콘 함유 네트워크는 실리케이트 네트워크 및 폴리실록산 네트워크로부터 선택되는 측면 발광 장치.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 캐리어(108)는 세라믹 물질을 포함하는 측면 발광 장치.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 산란 반사기(103)는 90% 초과의 반사율을 갖는 측면 발광 장치.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 산란 반사기(103)의 상부에 상부 반사기(109)가 배열되는 측면 발광 장치.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 기판(102)과 상기 반사기(103) 사이에 고체 투과성 물질(106)이 배열되는 측면 발광 장치.
- 제8항에 있어서, 상기 고체 투과성 물질(106)은 파장 변환 물질을 포함하는 측면 발광 장치.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 반사기(103)는 색소(pigment)를 포함하는 측면 발광 장치.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 산란 반사기(103)는 상기 기판(102)과 평행하게 배열되는 측면 발광 장치.
- 제8항에 있어서, 상기 고체 투과성 물질(106)의 측면 에지들 중 일부는 반사성 코팅(113)에 의해 코팅되는 측면 발광 장치.
