Abstract
이에 의하여, 냉시동시 촉매장치의 효율이 낮아짐으로써 가솔린엔진으로부터 배출되는 일산화탄소와 같은 공해물질의 배출이 증가하는 것을 방지할 수 있는 가솔린엔진의 배기가스 정화방법이 제공된다.

도 2는 도 1의 가솔린엔진의 배기가스 정화방법에서 사용되는 장치의 개략도이다.
도 3은 도 1의 가솔린엔진의 배기가스 정화방법에 따른 실험데이터의 그래프이다.

Claims (5)
- 배기가스를 제1촉매장치와 제2촉매장치에 순차적으로 통과시켜 정화하는 가솔린 엔진의 배기가스 정화방법에 있어서,
상기 가솔린 엔진의 피스톤의 상사점 이전에 상기 가솔린 엔진을 점화하여 시동시키는 시동단계;
상기 시동단계 이후 아이들링 상태에서, 상기 가솔린 엔진의 피스톤의 상사점 이후에 상기 가솔린 엔진을 점화하여 상기 배기가스의 온도를 상승시키는 지각단계를 포함하는 배기가스 온도 상승단계;
온도가 상승된 상기 배기가스와 열교환되어 상기 제1촉매장치의 온도가 상기 배기가스가 정화되는 정화온도로 상승되는 제1촉매장치 온도 상승단계; 및
상기 가솔린엔진의 점화시기를 제어하여 상기 제2촉매장치의 온도를 상기 정화온도로 상승시키는 제2촉매장치 온도 상승단계;를 포함하는 가솔린엔진의 배기가스 정화방법. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 배기가스 온도 상승단계는,
상기 가솔린엔진으로 흡입되는 공기를 증가시키는 흡입부 조절단계; 상기 공기가 완전연소 되도록 상기 가솔린엔진으로 흡입되는 연료의 양을 조절하는 연료 조절단계;를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 가솔린엔진의 배기가스 정화방법. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 제2촉매장치 온도 상승단계는,
상기 가솔린엔진의 구동력 증가가 요구되는 경우 상기 피스톤의 상사점 이전에 점화되는 것을 특징으로 하는 가솔린엔진의 배기가스 정화방법. - 삭제
