Chitosan is a substance that is processed to easily absorb chitin into human body. Specifically, it is prepared by sequentially immersing the outer shell of crustaceans such as chrysanthemums containing chitin in a diluted hydrochloric acid and an aqueous alkali solution to remove calcium and protein, and then deacetylating the calcium and protein.

These chitosan have anticancer effect, strengthened immunity, control blood sugar and blood pressure, antibacterial function, release heavy metals and cholesterol accumulated in the body, improve not only alkalinity but also skin moisturizing effect. Therefore, efforts have been made to apply chitosan having such excellent functions to various products.

On the other hand, when manufacturing a product using chitosan, calcium may be required depending on the product. In such a case, calcium should be separately added in the manufacturing process of the product. However, as described above, it is uneconomical to artificially remove calcium in the course of processing chitin into chitosan, and to add calcium separately in the course of manufacturing products using chitosan.

In order to apply chitosan to various products, it is also necessary to crush chitosan into a fine powder state depending on the properties of the product to be produced. However, the conventional chitosan is very soft and flexible because calcium is removed, so that it is not easy to crush into a fine powder state. In some cases, the bark of a shrimp or a shrimp may be previously pulverized and processed into chitosan to obtain a chitosan powder. In this case, however, the workpiece, that is, the shell powder, is lost during processing and the yield of chitosan is reduced.

According to another aspect of the present invention, there is provided a method for producing calcium-chitosan salt, wherein the sea water is composed of deep ocean water.

In the chitosan according to the present invention having the above-described structure, calcium is retained in the step of processing chitin into chitosan, and calcium is contained. Since the calcium-chitosan according to the present invention does not require a process for removing calcium in the process, the process is simpler than the conventional chitosan process and the productivity is improved because the process time is shortened. In the prior art, hydrochloric acid was used to remove calcium from chitin, and hydrochloric acid wastewater was generated thereby causing environmental pollution. However, since the present invention does not generate such hydrochloric acid wastewater, it is environmentally friendly, and the additional cost It is economical because it does not occur.

In particular, the calcium-chitosan according to the present invention is economical because it is supplemented with calcium even when no additional calcium is added when processing it into another product. In addition, since calcium contained in the present invention is natural calcium contained in crab shells and the like, its absorption rate in the body is also excellent. In addition, since chitosan contains calcium and is harder than conventional chitosan, chitosan is easily pulverized and processed into a powder form. Therefore, the powder can be pulverized into fine powder, so that it can be applied regardless of the properties of the product to be manufactured.

The calcium-chitosan according to the present invention can be applied to various products. Since chitosan and calcium each have a blood pressure-controlling effect, the calcium-chitosan according to the present invention can exert a synergistic effect on blood pressure control by calcium and chitosan, and thus has excellent blood pressure control effect. Therefore, the calcium-chitosan according to the present invention is suitable for application to medicines and foods for hypertension.

Further, when the present invention is applied to salt, nutritionally and functionally excellent salt containing calcium and chitosan can be obtained. Particularly, in the present invention, calcium-chitosan is dissolved in organic acid in the production of salt. When chitosan is dissolved in organic acid, it is converted into low molecular weight and decomposition and absorption rate is increased in the body. It can be said that it is high quality salt with high absorption rate of chitosan. Moreover, since deep sea water is used as seawater, it is possible to obtain salt rich in natural minerals.

Hereinafter, preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.

1 is a process diagram showing a process for producing calcium-chitosan using crab shells.

The calcium-chitosan according to the present invention is prepared in the following manner. First, the collected crab shells are prepared by washing. Of course, shells of crab shells, such as shrimp shells and squid bones, as well as crab shells, can be used. Remove protein from the washed skin. The protein removal process is carried out by soaking the shell in a 5% aqueous solution of sodium hydroxide for 2 to 6 hours. In this way, proteins in the crab shells are hydrolyzed and removed. When the protein in the crab shell hydrolyzes, the liquid is discarded and only the solid is collected and washed.

The collected solid is then deacetylated. Deacetylation is accomplished by immersing the collected solid in an aqueous solution of about 50% concentrated sodium hydroxide and heating it to about 100 ° C. This process is performed for about 2 to 6 hours. The treated liquid is discarded and the remaining solid content is collected. The collected solid content is calcium-chitosan in which calcium remains. The collected calcium-chitosan is washed and dried to obtain a calcium-chitosan article. If necessary, after the deacetylation, the calcium-chitosan obtained by discarding the 50% aqueous solution of sodium hydroxide and heating to about 100 캜 by supplying water to the obtained solid fraction, that is, calcium-chitosan, is reprocessed. After deacetylation, 50% sodium hydroxide aqueous solution is discarded and water is supplied again. The remaining sodium hydroxide is diluted to obtain an aqueous solution of sodium hydroxide of about 3 to 7%, and the protein remaining in calcium-chitosan is removed And deacetylation proceeds further to obtain calcium-chitosan having a high degree of deacetylation.

The calcium-chitosan thus obtained is harder than the existing calcium-removed chitosan since the protein and other foreign substances are removed and calcium remains. Since chitosan in which calcium has been removed conventionally is in a soft and flexible state, it is difficult to crush with fine powder. Calcium-chitosan according to the present invention has an advantage of easy crushing because it is hard and hard because of calcium contained therein. Therefore, it can be processed into fine powder, so it can be applied regardless of the characteristics of the product.

The thus prepared calcium-chitosan can be applied to various fields such as food, cosmetics, and feed. Particularly, the calcium-chitosan according to the present invention has excellent blood pressure control function. Chitosan absorbs Cl - , which causes blood pressure rise in the body, and excretes it out of the body to enhance blood pressure. Calcium also participates in vasoconstriction and relaxation. When calcium is insufficient, blood pressure rises. In the calcium-chitosan according to the present invention, since calcium and chitosan having a blood pressure-controlling function coexist together, a synergistic effect on blood pressure control can be obtained by calcium and chitosan. Therefore, it is preferable to be applied to a therapeutic agent or food for hypertension, since the blood pressure control effect is excellent. Since calcium contained in the present invention is natural calcium contained in the crab shell, it has a high absorption rate.

As described above, calcium-chitosan can be applied to various products, but examples of salt are as follows. The salt is prepared using the calcium-chitosan prepared by the above-mentioned method. Specific methods will be described below.

The calcium-chitosan powder is dissolved in an organic acid to prepare a chitosan solution. As the organic acid, acetic acid, citric acid, ascorbic acid and the like are used. In some cases, calcium-chitosan may be dissolved in an organic acid in a lump state without being pulverized. When calcium-chitosan is dissolved in an organic acid, the chitosan becomes low in molecular weight and the absorption rate of chitosan becomes high.

The calcium-chitosan solution is mixed with the prepared seawater to produce salt. Deep sea water is preferably used as seawater. Deep ocean water is deeper than 200 meters below sea level where sunlight can not reach. These deep ocean waters are not mixed by density difference with surface water, but form a huge layer. These marine deep seawater is a clean resource that does not contain E. coli or other pathogens, and is rich in minerals. Therefore, in the present invention, chitosan salt rich in minerals is produced by using such deep sea water.

The calcium-chitosan solution obtained by dissolving the calcium-chitosan powder in the organic acid is mixed with the deep-sea water and then concentrated in the same manner as the conventional salt production method to precipitate the salt and the calcium-chitosan. The use of concentrated deep sea water in advance has the advantage of shortening the salt production time. The precipitated salt is dehydrated and dried to obtain a salt-finished product containing calcium-chitosan.

The higher the content of calcium and chitosan in the prepared salt, the better the nutrition and function of the salt. However, the higher the chitosan content, the stronger the salty taste of chitosan in the salt and the lower the solubility of the salt. Therefore, if salt of high content of chitosan is used for cooking, the soup of the food may become turbid, and the taste of the food may be deteriorated due to the bitter taste of chitosan. For these reasons, the content of chitosan needs to be controlled depending on the use of the salt. Considering this, the mixing amount of calcium-chitosan solution and seawater is controlled.

The calcium-chitosan salt produced by the present invention can be used for various purposes such as cooking, cosmetic, feed and the like.
