도 4는 플랩 절개를 위한 제3의 예시적인 스캔 패턴을 나타낸다.
Claims (8)
- 안구 레이저 수술을 위한 장치로서,
- 각막의 절개의 광파괴 생성(Photodisruptive generation)에 매칭되는 방사 파라미터들을 갖는 펄스 레이저 방사(pulsed laser radiation)의 소스와,
- 레이저 방사를 편향시키기 위한 스캐너와,
- 각막 플랩(corneal flap)의 생성을 위해 설계된 소정 절개 기하구조에 따라 상기 스캐너를 제어하도록 설정되어 있는 전자 제어 유닛과, 그리고
- 상기 소스로부터 방출되는 레이저 펄스들을 변조하기 위한 변조기 유닛을 포함하며,
상기 절개 기하구조는 상기 플랩의 베드를 정의하는 베드 절개(bed incision)와 상기 플랩의 가장자리를 정의하는 가장자리 절개(marginal incision)를 포함하며, 나란히 직선으로 연장하는 복수의 라인 경로들 및 인접한 라인 경로들의 쌍을 각각 말단으로 연결하는 복수의 역만곡부들(reversing bends)을 갖는 서펜타인(Serpentine) 빔 편향 패턴이 상기 베드 절개를 위해 형성되며, 상기 역만곡부는 상기 플랩의 가장자리 외부에 있고,
상기 제어 유닛은 상기 플랩의 가장자리 외부에 있는 상기 서펜타인(Serpentine) 빔 편향 패턴의 부분들에서 상기 레이저 펄스들 중 일부의 레이저 펄스가 억제되게 하는 방식으로, 상기 변조기 유닛을 제어하도록 더 설정되는 것을 특징으로 하는 안구 레이저 수술을 위한 장치. - 안구 레이저 수술을 위한 장치로서,
- 각막의 절개 형성에 매칭되는 방사 파라미터들을 갖는 펄스 레이저 방사(pulsed laser radiation)의 소스와,
- 레이저 방사를 편향시키기 위한 스캐너와,
- 소정 절개 기하구조에 따라 상기 스캐너를 제어하도록 설정되어 있는 전자 제어 유닛과, 그리고
- 상기 소스로부터 방출되는 레이저 펄스들을 변조하기 위한 변조기 유닛을 포함하며,
상기 제어 유닛은 상기 절개 기하구조에 대해 확립된 빔 편향 패턴에 따라 상기 변조기 유닛을 제어하도록 더 설정되고, 상기 빔 편향 패턴은 나선형 패턴을 포함하며, 상기 제어 유닛은, 표면적의 단위당 에너지 입력을 실질적으로 일정하게 하기 위해 상기 나선형 패턴의 내부 브랜치(branch)에 방사상으로 향하는 적어도 일부의 레이저 펄스들의 에너지가 감소하도록 상기 변조기 유닛을 제어하는 동작과 실질적으로 일정한 포커스 위치 밀도를 얻기 위해 상기 나선형 패턴의 내부 브랜치에 방사상으로 향하는 적어도 일부의 레이저 펄스들을 블랭킹(blanking)하도록 상기 변조기 유닛을 제어하는 동작 중 적어도 하나를 수행하도록 설정되는 것을 특징으로 하는 안구 레이저 수술을 위한 장치. - 청구항 1항 또는 2항에 있어서,
상기 변조기 유닛은 음향광학 또는 전기광학 변조기를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 안구 레이저 수술을 위한 장치. - 청구항 3에 있어서, 상기 음향광학 변조기는 2㎲ 내지 10㎲ 사이의 스위칭 시간을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 안구 레이저 수술을 위한 장치.
- 청구항 1항 또는 2항에 있어서,
상기 변조기 유닛은 가변 회절 능력을 갖는 광학 격자 소자를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 안구 레이저 수술을 위한 장치. - 청구항 1항 또는 2항에 있어서,
상기 변조기 유닛에 빔 덤프(dump)가 할당되며, 상기 빔 덤프는 상기 변조기 유닛에 의해 편향되는 레이저 펄스들을 흡수하는 것을 특징으로 하는 안구 레이저 수술을 위한 장치. - 청구항 2항에 있어서,
상기 제어 유닛은, 상기 나선형 패턴의 중심 영역에서 4개의 펄스들 중 3개의 펄스들을 블랭킹하고 상기 나선형 패턴의 주변 영역에서 매 제2번째 펄스를 블랭킹하도록 상기 변조기 유닛을 제어하는 것을 특징으로 하는 안구 레이저 수술을 위한 장치.
