Claims (15)
- 복수의 화소영역이 정의된 제 1 기판과 제 2 기판과;상기 제 1 기판의 일면에 구성되고, 상기 화소 영역의 일 측에 위치하는 게이트 배선과;상기 게이트 배선과 데이터 배선의 교차지점에 위치하는 박막트랜지스터와;상기 화소 영역에 위치하고, 평행하게 이격하여 교대로 구성된 공통 전극과 화소 전극과;상기 제 2 기판의 일면에 구성되고, 상기 화소 영역의 경계에 구성된 블랙매트릭스와, 상기 화소 영역에 구성된 컬러필터와;상기 제 1 및 제 2 기판의 사이에 구성되고, 일 방향으로 일정간격 이격되고 제 1 유전율 값을 가지는 복수의 제 1 컬럼 스페이서와, 상기 복수의 제 1 컬럼스페이서와 대칭되는 위치에, 일 방향으로 일정간격 이격되고 제 2 유전율 값을 가지는 복수의 제 2 컬럼 스페이서와;상기 제 1 기판과 제 2 기판에 사이에 위치한 액정층을 포함하고,상기 제 1 유전율 값과 상기 제 2 유전율 값은 서로 상이하며,상기 제 1 및 제 2 유전율 값은 상기 액정층의 유전율 값보다 작은 것을 특징으로 하는 횡전계 방식 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 게이트 배선과 평행하고 상기 공통 전극과 접촉하는 공통 배선을 더욱 포함하는 횡전계 방식 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 제 1 유전율 값 < 상기 제 2 유전율 값 < 상기 액정층의 유전율 값의 관계를 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 횡전계 방식 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 제 1 기판과 상기 제 2 기판에 각각 최종적으로 배향막을 더욱 구성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 횡전계 방식 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 복수의 제 1 컬럼 스페이서는 임의의 제 1 게이트 배선의 길이 방향을 따라 구성되고, 상기 복수의 제 2 컬럼 스페이서는 상기 제 1 게이트 배선과 이웃하는 제 2 게이트 배선의 길이 방향을 따라 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는 횡전계 방식 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 제 1 및 제 2 컬럼스페이서는 상기 컬러필터 및 블랙매트릭스가 구성된 제 2 기판에 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는 횡전계 방식 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 기판과 제 2 기판을 준비하는 단계와;상기 제 1 기판에 복수의 게이트 배선과 이와 교차하여 복수의 화소 영역을 정의하는 복수의 데이터 배선을 형성하는 단계와;상기 게이트 배선과 데이터 배선의 교차지점에 박막트랜지스터를 형성하는 단계와;상기 화소 영역에 위치하고, 평행하게 이격하여 교대로 위치하는 공통 전극과 화소 전극을 형성하는 단계와;상기 제 2 기판에 위치하고, 상기 화소 영역의 경계에 대응하여 블랙매트릭스와, 상기 화소 영역에 대응하여 컬러필터를 형성하는 단계와;상기 제 1 및 제 2 기판의 사이에 구성되고, 일 방향으로 일정간격 이격되고제 1 유전율 값을 가지는 복수의 제 1 컬럼 스페이서를 형성하고, 상기 복수의 제 1 컬럼 스페이서와 대칭되는 방향에 위치하고, 이와 평행한 방향으로 일정간격 이격되고 제 2 유전율 값을 가지는 복수의 제 2 컬럼 스페이서를 형성하는 단계와상기 제 1 기판과 제 2 기판에 사이에 액정층을 충진하는 단계를 포함하고,상기 제 1 유전율 값과 상기 제 2 유전율 값은 서로 상이하며,상기 제 1 및 제 2 유전율 값은 상기 액정층의 유전율 값보다 작은 것을 특징으로 하는 횡전계 방식 액정표시장치 제조방법.
- 제 7 항에 있어서,상기 게이트 배선과 평행하고 상기 공통 전극과 접촉하는 공통 배선을 형성하는 단계를 더욱 포함하는 횡전계 방식 액정표시장치 제조방법.
- 제 7 항에 있어서,상기 제 1 유전율 값 < 상기 제 2 유전율 값 < 상기 액정층의 유전율 값의 관계를 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 횡전계 방식 액정표시장치 제조방법.
- 제 7 항에 있어서,상기 제 1 기판과 상기 제 2 기판에 각각 최종적으로 배향막을 형성하는 단계를 더욱 포함하는 횡전계 방식 액정표시장치 제조방법.
- 제 7 항에 있어서,상기 복수의 제 1 컬럼 스페이서는 임의의 제 1 게이트 배선의 길이 방향을 따라 형성되고, 상기 복수의 제 2 컬럼 스페이서는 상기 제 1 게이트 배선과 이웃하는 제 2 게이트 배선의 길이 방향을 따라 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 횡전계 방식 액정표시장치 제조방법.
- 제 7 항에 있어서,상기 제 1 및 제 2 컬럼스페이서는 상기 제 2 기판에 형성된 것을 특징으로 하는 횡전계 방식 액정표시장치 제조방법.
- 제 7 항에 있어서,상기 제 1 및 제 2 컬럼스페이서는 액정보다 유전율 값이 작은 포토레지스트(photoresist), 벤조사이클로부텐(BCB), 아크릴(Acryl), 수지-BM 을 포함하는 유기물질 그룹 중 선택하여 형성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 횡전계 방식 액정표시장치 제조방법.
- 복수의 화소 영역이 정의된 기판과;상기 화소 영역간 경계에 구성된 블랙매트릭스와;상기 복수의 화소 영역에 순차 구성된 컬러필터와;상기 블랙매트릭스 및 컬러필터가 구성된 기판에, 일 방향으로 일정간격 이격되고 제 1 유전율 값을 가지는 복수의 제 1 컬럼스페이서와, 상기 복수의 제 1 컬럼스페이서와 대칭되는 방향에 위치하여 이와는 평행하게 일정간격 이격되고 제 2 유전율 값을 가지는 복수의 제 2 컬럼스페이서를 포함하고,상기 제 1 유전율 값과 상기 제 2 유전율 값은 서로 상이하며,상기 제 1 및 제 2 유전율 값은 액정층의 유전율 값보다 작은 것을 특징으로 하는 횡전계 방식 액정표시장치용 컬러필터 기판.
- 제 14 항에 있어서,상기 제 1 유전율 값 < 상기 제 2 유전율 값 < 상기 액정층의 유전율 값의 관계를 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 횡전계 방식 액정표시장치용 컬러필터 기판.
