Claims (4)
- 축선 둘레로 회전되는 엔드밀 본체와 ;상기 엔드밀 본체의 외주에, 상기 축선 방향으로 간격을 두고 배열된 복수의 인서트를 구비하고,상기 복수의 인서트는, 상기 엔드밀 본체의 둘레 방향에 복수 형성된 인서트열을 형성하고,둘레 방향으로 인접하는 상기 인서트열끼리에서는 적어도 일부의 상기 인서트가 상기 축선 방향으로 서로 어긋나 배치되어 있고,이 적어도 일부의 상기 인서트는, 상기 엔드밀 본체의 외주측을 향하는 절삭날이 상기 축선 방향을 향함에 따라 요철된 파형날 형상 절삭날로 되어 있음과 함께, 이 적어도 일부의 상기 인서트 중, 하나의 인서트열의 하나의 인서트와 다른 인서트열의 상기 축선 방향으로 어긋난 인서트는, 서로의 상기 파형날 형상 절삭날이 그 위상을 상기 축선 둘레의 회전 궤적에 있어서 연속시킨 파형날 형상 절삭날열을 구성하도록 배치되어 있고,상기 엔드밀 본체의 외주에는 상기 위상이 상이한 복수의 상기 파형날 형상 절삭날열이 형성되어 있고,상기 적어도 일부의 인서트는 서로 동일한 형상, 동일한 크기로 되어 있는 러핑 엔드밀.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 하나의 인서트는, 상기 하나의 인서트열의 둘레 방향으로 인접하는 상 기 다른 인서트열의 적어도 하나의 인서트와 상기 파형날 형상 절삭날열을 구성하도록 배치되어 있는 러핑 엔드밀.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,적어도 하나의 인서트열에는 다른 인서트와 상이한 상기 파형날 형상 절삭날열을 구성하는 인서트가 배치되어 있고, 이 인서트는 상기 축선 방향의 간격이 상기 다른 인서트와 상이한 크기로 배치되어 있는 러핑 엔드밀.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 적어도 일부의 인서트에서,상기 엔드밀 본체의 회전 방향을 향하는 레이크면과 이 레이크면에 교차하여 상기 엔드밀 본체의 외주측을 향하는 플랭크면의 교차 능선부에 상기 절삭날이 형성되어 있고,상기 레이크면에, 상기 플랭크면에 도달하는 복수의 홈부와 산부가 상기 절삭날을 따라 교대로 형성됨으로써 그 절삭날이 상기 파형날 형상 절삭날로 되어 있고,상기 홈부 중 적어도 하나가 다른 홈부보다 홈 깊이가 깊은 심홈부로 되어 있는 러핑 엔드밀.
