- 이동 단말기나 상기 이동 단말기에 연결된 장치에 의해 수행되는, 전력 제어 방법으로서,상기 이동 단말기에 의해 요구되는 현재 데이터 레이트를 모니터링하는 단계;상기 현재 데이터 레이트를 저장하는 단계;상기 현재 데이터 레이트의 변화가 발생하였는지를 결정하는 단계;현재 데이터 레이트와 이전 기간에 저장된 이전 데이터 레이트를 비교하는 단계; 및상기 데이터 레이트의 상기 이전 기간으로부터의 변화가 미리 정해진 레이트 변화 레벨 이상임을 상기 비교 단계가 나타낼 때 상기 이동 단말기의 송신 전력과 송신 빈도(frequency)를 변경하는 단계;네트워크가 최대 용량 상태에 있는지를 결정하는 단계를 포함하고,상기 변경 단계는 상기 네트워크의 최대 용량 상태의 결정 단계의 결과에 적어도 부분적으로 기초하는, 전력 제어 방법.
- 제14항에 있어서, 상기 미리 정해진 레이트 변화 레벨은 2인, 전력 제어 방법.
- 제14항에 있어서, 상기 데이터 레이트의 변화 결정 단계는 상기 데이터 레이트의 변화가 데이터 타입의 변화에 기초하여 발생한 것으로 결정하는, 전력 제어 방법.

- 제26항에 있어서, 상기 프로세서는 상기 이동 단말기 내에 있는, 송신 전력 변경 시스템.
- 제26항에 있어서, 상기 프로세서는 상기 액세스 포인트 내에 있는, 송신 전력 변경 시스템.
