본 시험에서는 각 실시예와 비교예에서 제조한 칫솔세정제의 살균효과를 비교하기 위하여 미생물에 대한 살균력을 평가하였다.In this test, the bactericidal activity against microorganisms was evaluated to compare the bactericidal effects of the toothbrush cleaners prepared in each example and the comparative example.

대상균종으로는 황색포도상구균(S. aureus), 녹농균(P. aeruginosa), 대장균(E. coli), 칸디다균(C. albicans) 4가지 균을 사용하였으며, 자세한 평가방법은 다음과 같다.Four isolates of S. aureus , P. aeruginosa , E. coli , and Candida ( C. albicans ) were used.

칫솔에서 헤드만을 잘라내어 70% 에탄올에 1시간 정도 담가 살균한 후 건조기에 2시간 건조시켰다. 위의 4가지 균을 1 내지 5ㅧ107 CFU/mL 수준으로 혼합한 용액(0.5% bovine serum albumin)에 칫솔헤드를 담군 후 25도에서 2 내지 3시간 건조시켰다. 건조시킨 칫솔머리를 칫솔세정제 1정을 150 mL 수돗물에 녹인 용액에 넣어준 후 매 5분, 10분, 20분에 칫솔헤드를 빼내 생균수를 측정하였다. 평가 결과는 표 2와 같다.Only the head was cut from the toothbrush, soaked in 70% ethanol for 1 hour and sterilized, and then dried in a dryer for 2 hours. 본 발명에 따른 칫솔 세정제의 보관 기간에 따른 살균력 효과를 확인하기 위하여 실시예 1 및 실시예 2에서 제조한 정제를 상온에서 대기 중에 6개월간 방치한 후 상기 시험예의 방법으로 살균력을 평가한 결과 초기 살균력 대비 95% 이상의 살균력을 나타내었다.
