Claims (10)
- 제1기판 및 제2기판과, 상기 제1기판에 형성되어 복수의 게이트라인 및 데이터라인에 의해 정의되는 복수의 화소영역과, 각각의 화소영역에 형성된 박막트랜지스터와, 상기 제2기판에 형성된 블랙매트릭스와 컬러필터층과, 상기 제1기판과 제2기판 사이에 형성된 액정층으로 이루어진 액정패널;상기 액정패널의 상부 및 하부에 각각 배치된 제1편광판 및 제2편광판;상기 제2편광판 하부에 배치되어 액정패널에 광을 공급하는 백라이트부;상기 액정패널과 제2편광 사이에 배치되어 제1편광판을 통해 외부로부터 입사되는 제1편광성분의 광은 반사시켜 액정층에 직접 공급하고 백라이트부로부터 입사되는 광중에서 제1편광성분의 광은 반사하고 제2편광성분의 광은 투과시켜 액정층에 직접 공급하는 선택반사필름; 및상기 액정패널의 게이트라인과 데이터라인중 적어도 하나 위에 형성되어 외부로부터 입력되는 광을 반사시키는 제1반사층으로 구성된 반사투과형 액정표시소자.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제1편광판과 제2편광판의 광학축은 수직인 것을 특징으로 하는 반사투과형 액정표시소자.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제2편광판과 선택반사필름의 광학축은 수평인 것을 특징으로 하는 반사투과형 액정표시소자.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 선택반사필름은,제1베이스필름 및 제2베이스필름; 및상기 제1베이스필름과 제2베이스필름 사이에 배치되어 입력되는 광중에서 제1편광된 광은 투과시키고 제2편광된 광이 입력되는 경우 반사시키는 편광부로 구성된 반사투과형 액정표시소자.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 게이트라인 및 데이터라인에 대응하는 위치의 컬러필터층에는 개구가 형성된 것을 특징으로 하는 반사투과형 액정표시소자.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 화소영역에 평행하게 배치되어 제1기판의 표면과 평행한 횡전계를 액정패널에 인가하는 공통전극 및 화소전극; 및상기 공통전극 및 화소전극의 적어도 하나 위에 형성되어 외부로부터 입사되는 광을 반사시키는 제2반사층을 추가로 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 반사투과형 액정표시소자.
- 제6항에 있어서,상기 제1반사층 및 제2반사층의 표면은 물결형상으로 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 반사투과형 액정표시소자.
- 제6항에 있어서,상기 제1반사층 및 제2반사층의 표면에는 엠보싱이 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 반사투과형 액정표시소자.

- 제1기판 및 제2기판과, 상기 제1기판에 형성되어 복수의 게이트라인 및 데이터라인에 의해 정의되는 복수의 화소영역과, 각각의 화소영역에 형성된 박막트랜지스터와, 상기 화소영역에 배치되어 횡전계를 형성하는 공통전극 및 화소전극과, 상기 제2기판에 형성된 블랙매트릭스와 컬러필터층과, 상기 제1기판과 제2기판 사이에 형성된 액정층으로 이루어진 액정패널;상기 액정패널의 상부 및 하부에 각각 배치된 제1편광판 및 제2편광판;상기 제2편광판 하부에 배치되어 액정패널에 광을 공급하는 백라이트부;상기 액정패널과 제2편광 사이에 배치되어 제1편광판을 통해 외부로부터 입사되는 제1편광성분의 광은 반사시켜 액정층에 직접 공급하고 백라이트부로부터 입사되는 광중에서 제1편광성분의 광은 반사하고 제2편광성분의 광은 투과시켜 액정층에 직접 공급하는 선택반사필름; 및상기 액정패널의 게이트라인, 데이터라인, 공통전극, 화소전극중 적어도 하나에 대응하는 컬러필터층에 형성된 개구로 구성된 반사투과형 액정표시소자.
