Description
도 2의 (a)는 피에조 잉크젯 헤드에서 도출되는 정상상태의 신호파형과 이상상태의 신호파형을 예시한 그래프이고, (b)는 정상 파형과 이상 파형의 차이 값을 예시한 그래프이다.
도 3은 본 발명의 일실시예에 따른 피에조 잉크젯 헤드의 관리장치를 개략적으로 예시한 도면이다.
도 4는 본 발명의 일실시예에 따른 피에조 잉크젯 헤드의 관리장치에서 주파수를 측정하는 원리를 예시하는 도면이다.
도 5는 본 발명의 일실시예에 따른 피에조 잉크젯 헤드의 관리방법을 예시한 순서도이다.

- 잉크젯 헤드에 연결되어 압력을 발생시키는 피에조 액츄에이터;
상기 피에조 액츄에이터의 구동을 제어하는 구동부;
상기 잉크젯 헤드에 기포가 유입되지 않은 상태에서 상기 피에조 액츄에이터에서 발생된 신호를 기준신호로 판단하는 제어부; 및
상기 제어부에서 기준신호로 판단된 신호를 저장하는 저장부;
를 포함하며,
상기 제어부는,
상기 피에조 액츄에이터에서 발생된 신호와 상기 저장부에 저장된 기준신호의 차이를 연산하여 검출신호를 생성하고, 상기 검출신호의 진폭 및 주파수 중 선택되는 적어도 하나가 미리 정해진 범위 내에 있는지의 여부에 따라 잉크젯 헤드의 상태를 판단하되,
상기 검출신호의 시간차원 길이를, 상기 검출신호의 위상이 양수에서 음수 또는 음수에서 양수로 변경되는 횟수로 나누어 상기 검출신호의 주파수를 연산하는 것을 특징으로 하는
피에조 잉크젯 헤드의 관리장치.

- 잉크젯 헤드, 피에조 액츄에이터, 구동부, 센싱용 저항을 포함하는 피에조 잉크젯 헤드의 관리방법에 있어서,
(a) 잉크젯 헤드에서 잉크가 토출된 직후 상기 피에조 액츄에이터에서 발생되는 신호를 수신하는 단계;
(b) 상기 (a) 단계에서 수신된 신호를, 상기 잉크젯 헤드에 기포가 유입되지 않은 상태에서 상기 피에조 액츄에이터에서 발생되는 기준신호와 비교하여 차이를 연산하여 검출신호를 생성하는 단계;
(c) 상기 검출신호의 진폭과 미리 설정된 임계진폭을 비교하여, 상기 검출신호의 진폭이 임계진폭 보다 큰 경우 이상상태로 판정하는 단계; 및
(d) 상기 (c) 단계에서 검출신호의 진폭이 임계진폭 보다 작은 경우, 상기 검출신호의 주파수가 미리 설정된 주파수 범위 내에 있으면 이상상태로 판정하고, 상기 검출신호의 주파수가 미리 설정된 주파수 범위 밖에 있으면 정상상태로 판정하는 단계;
를 포함하며,
상기 (d) 단계에서,
상기 검출신호의 시간차원 길이를, 상기 검출신호의 위상이 양수에서 음수 또는 음수에서 양수로 변경되는 횟수로 나누어 상기 검출신호의 주파수를 연산하는 것을 특징으로 하는
피에조 잉크젯 헤드의 관리방법.
- 잉크젯 헤드, 피에조 액츄에이터, 구동부, 센싱용 저항을 포함하는 피에조 잉크젯 헤드의 관리방법에 있어서,
상기 잉크젯 헤드에서 잉크가 토출된 직후 상기 피에조 액츄에이터에서 발생되는 신호를 수신하고,
상기 잉크젯 헤드에 기포가 유입되지 않은 상태에서 상기 피에조 액츄에이터로부터 발생되는 기준신호와 비교해서 차이를 연산하여 검출신호를 생성하며,
상기 검출신호의 시간차원 길이를, 상기 검출신호의 위상이 양수에서 음수 또는 음수에서 양수로 변경되는 횟수로 나누어 연산되는 검출신호 주파수가 미리 설정된 주파수 범위 내에 있으면 이상상태로 판정하고, 상기 검출신호 주파수가 미리 설정된 주파수 범위 밖에 있으면 정상상태로 판정하는 단계;
