Abstract
상기 광원은 상기 디스크에 대해 장축과 단축을 가지는 타원형 빔 스팟을 상기 디스크에 마련된 정보 기록 트랙에 형성하되, 상기 장축이 상기 디스크의 회전 중심을 통과하는 반경 반향(radial direction)에 대해 0도 에서 30도 사이의 각을 유지하도록 상기 광원이 배치되어 있다.
Description
도 2는 본 발명의 일 실시 예에 따른 광 픽업 장치에서 디스크 종류별 콜리메이팅 렌즈의 광 축상 상대적 위치 이동을 예시한다.
도 3은 본 발명의 일 실시 예에 따른 광 픽업장치에서, 커플링 렌즈에 의한 광학적 거리의 단축을 예시한다.
도 4는 본 발명의 다른 실시 예에 따른 광 픽업 장치의 개략적 구성도이다.
도 5는 도 4에 도시된 광 픽업 장치의 개략적 입체도이다.
도 6은 광 디스크에서 트랙을 기준으로한 라디얼 방향과 탄젠셜 방향을 설명하기 위한 도면이다.

Claims (6)
- DVD와 BD 디스크 중 적어도 어느 하나에 대응하는 광원을 포함하는 광원계;
상기 디스크로부터 반사된 광을 수광하여 전기적 신호를 발생하는 수광계;
상기 디스크에 대면하는 대물렌즈와 상기 대물렌즈 후방의 콜리메이팅 렌즈를 포함하는 것으로, 상기 광원으로부터의 광을 디스크로 진행시키고, 디스크에서 반사된 광은 상기 수광계로 진행시키는 광 전송계;를 포함하며,
상기 광원은 상기 디스크에 대해 장축과 단축을 가지는 타원형 빔 스팟을 상기 디스크에 마련된 정보 기록 트랙에 형성하되, 상기 장축이 상기 디스크의 회전 중심을 통과하는 반경 반향(radial direction)에 대해 0도 에서 30도 사이의 각을 유지하도록 상기 광원이 배치되어 있고,
상기 디스크에 형성되는 빔 스팟의 탄젠셜 방향과 라이얼 방향의 크기가 0.500㎛~1.000㎛ 이며,
송광 배율(Mr, Magnitude Ratio of Light Transmission)을 아래와 같이 정의할 때에, 상기 DVD 디스크에 대한 송광 배율은 5.5~6.5이며, 상기 BD에 대한 송광 배율은 9~12인 것을 특징으로 하는 광 픽업 장치

여기에서 fc는 콜레메이팅 렌즈의 초점 거리이며, fo는 대물렌즈의 초점 거리이다. - 삭제

상기 광원계는 BD용 광원을 구비하며,
BD용 광원과 상기 콜리메이팅 렌즈의 사이에 광학적 거리를 단축하는 커플링 렌즈가 마련되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 광 픽업 장치. - 제 1 항에 기재된 광 픽업 장치;
상기 광 픽업 장치를 지지하는 기구계; 그리고,
상기 광 픽업 장치로부터의 전기적 신호를 처리하는 정보 처리부를 구비하는 광 드라이브. - 제 5 항에 있어서,
상기 광원계는 BD용 광원을 구비하며,
BD용 광원과 상기 콜리메이팅 렌즈의 사이에 광학적 거리를 단축하는 커플링 렌즈가 마련되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 광 드라이브.
