Description
Claims (16)
- 복수의 픽셀들을 포함하는 컬러 필터 어레이로서,

상기 a*b* 평면에 있어서 265 내지 305°범위 내의 색상을 갖는 퍼플 서브-픽셀을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 컬러 필터 어레이. - 제 1 항에 있어서,
각 오렌지 서브-픽셀은 상기 a*b* 평면에 있어서 35 내지 55°범위 내의 색상을 갖고;
각 라임 서브-픽셀은 상기 a*b* 평면에 있어서 155 내지 175°범위 내의 색상을 가지며;
각 퍼플 서브-픽셀은 상기 a*b* 평면에 있어서 275 내지 295°범위 내의 색상을 갖는, 컬러 필터 어레이. - 제 2 항에 있어서,
각 오렌지 서브-픽셀은 상기 a*b* 평면에 있어서 40 내지 50°범위 내의 색상을 갖고;
각 라임 서브-픽셀은 상기 a*b* 평면에 있어서 160 내지 170°범위 내의 색상을 가지며;
각 퍼플 서브-픽셀은 상기 a*b* 평면에 있어서 280 내지 290°범위 내의 색상을 갖는, 컬러 필터 어레이. - 제 1 항에 있어서,
각 픽셀은 백색 서브-픽셀을 더 포함하는, 컬러 필터 어레이. - 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 a*b* 평면에 있어서 상기 오렌지 서브-픽셀, 상기 라임 서브-픽셀 및 상기 퍼플 서브-픽셀 간의 각도가 모두 120±5°범위 내에 있는, 컬러 필터 어레이. - 제 1 항 내지 제 7 항 중 어느 한 항에 기재된 컬러 필터 어레이를 포함하는 전기 광학 디스플레이.
- 제 8 항에 있어서,
광이 상기 컬러 필터 어레이를 통과하고, 전기 광학 매체로부터 반사되며 상기 컬러 필터 어레이를 통하여 관찰자에게 다시 전달되도록, 반사성인 상기 전기 광학 매체를 갖는, 전기 광학 디스플레이. - 제 8 항에 있어서,
전기 광학 재료가 회전 이색성 멤버 또는 전기변색 재료를 포함하는, 전기 광학 디스플레이. - 제 8 항에 있어서,
전기 광학 재료가 유체에 배치되고 전계의 영향 하에서 상기 유체를 통하여 이동할 수 있는 복수의 전기적으로 충전된 입자들을 포함하는 전기영동 재료를 포함하는, 전기 광학 디스플레이. - 제 11 항에 있어서,

- 제 8 항에 기재된 전기 광학 디스플레이 상에의 디스플레이를 위해 RGB 이미지를 변환하는 방법으로서,
각 픽셀에 대해 :
(a) RGB 값들에 대응하는 청록색, 진홍색 및 황색 값들을 추정하는 단계;
(b) 상기 단계 (a) 에서 추정된 상기 청록색, 진홍색 및 황색 값들의 최소값을 결정하고, 상기 최소값을 상기 단계 (a) 에서 추정된 상기 청록색, 진홍색 및 황색 값들 각각에서 감산하여 변경된 청록색, 진홍색 및 황색 값들을 제공하는 단계;
(c) 적색, 녹색 및 청색 값들의 최소값을 결정하고, 상기 최소값을 상기 단계 (b) 에서 계산된 상기 변경된 청록색, 진홍색 및 황색 값들에 가산하여 각각 최종 청록색, 진홍색 및 황색 값들 (C, M 및 Y) 을 생성하는 단계;
(d) 적색과 황색, 녹색과 청록색 및 청색과 진홍색 값들 각각의 가중된 평균들을 이용하여 오렌지, 라임 및 퍼플 값들을 획득하는 단계; 및
(e) 상기 적색, 녹색 및 청색 값들의 최소값과 상기 최종 청록색, 진홍색 및 황색 값들 (C, M 및 Y) 의 최소값의 가중된 평균으로 백색 값을 설정하는 단계를 포함하는, RGB 이미지 변환 방법.
