도 4는 방향 감지 단차부를 구비한 본 발명에 따른 배럴 캠의 캠 트랙의 일부분에 대한 확대도,
도 5는 방향 감지 게이트를 구비한 본 발명에 따른 변형 실시예의 배럴 캠의 캠 트랙의 일부분에 대한 확대도,
도 6은 본 발명에 따른 배럴 캠 시프트 조립체에 사용되는 배럴 캠의 4개의 캠 트랙에 대한 변형된 플랫 패턴 레이아웃,

Claims (10)
- 트랜스미션용 배럴 캠 시프트 메커니즘(barrel cam shift mechanism)에 있어서,
양방향 평행운동을 위해 배치되며, 스프링 가압식 부재를 갖는 제 1 캠 팔로어(cam follower)를 구비한 제 1 시프트 포크 바디(shift fork body);
양방향 평행운동을 위해 배치되며, 제 2 캠 팔로어를 구비한 제 2 시프트 포크 바디;
축 둘레를 회전하도록 배치되며, 상기 제 1 캠 팔로어의 상기 스프링 가압식 부재를 수용하는 제 1 캠 트랙(cam track) 및 상기 제 2 캠 팔로어를 수용하는 제 2 캠 트랙을 갖는 배럴 캠(barrel cam); 및
상기 배럴 캠을 양방향으로 회전시키는 구동 수단(drive means);을 포함하며,
상기 제 1 캠 트랙은, 상기 배럴 캠의 회전에 응답하여 하나의 기어를 결합하도록 상기 제 1 캠 트랙의 일부분을 따라 상기 제 1 캠 팔로어를 일방향으로 지향시키며, 상기 배럴 캠의 회전에 응답하여 상기 하나의 기어와는 다른 또 다른 기어를 결합하도록 상기 제 1 캠 트랙의 상기 일부분으로부터 축방향으로 이격되고(axially spaced) 원주방향으로 이웃한(circumferentially adjacent) 상기 제 1 캠 트랙의 다른 부분을 따라 상기 제 1 캠 팔로어를 반대방향으로 지향시키는 수단을 갖고,
상기 제 1 및 제 2 캠 트랙은, 트랜스미션의 인접한 기어비의 쌍의 결합을 성취하는 복수의 위치를 형성하는
트랜스미션용 배럴 캠 시프트 메커니즘.
- 제1항에 있어서,
상기 제 1 및 제 2 시프트 포크 바디 각각에 연결되어 평행이동되는 하나 이상의 싱크로나이저 클러치(synchronizer clutch)를 더 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 트랜스미션용 배럴 캠 시프트 메커니즘.
- 제1항에 있어서,
하나 이상의 카운터샤프트와, 상기 카운터샤프트 상에 배치된 복수의 기어를 더 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 트랜스미션용 배럴 캠 시프트 메커니즘.
- 제1항에 있어서,
상기 배럴 캠은 샤프트 상에서의 회전을 위해 지지되며, 상기 샤프트는 상기 구동 수단에 결합되는 것을 특징으로 하는 트랜스미션용 배럴 캠 시프트 메커니즘.
- 제1항에 있어서,
상기 배럴 캠은 제 3 캠 트랙과, 제 4 캠 트랙을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 트랜스미션용 배럴 캠 시프트 메커니즘.
- 제1항에 있어서,
상기 구동 수단은 양방향 전기 모터(bi-directional electric motor)와, 감속 기어 트레인(speed reducing gear train)을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 트랜스미션용 배럴 캠 시프트 메커니즘.
- 제1항에 있어서,
상기 배럴 캠은 상기 구동 수단에 의해 구동되는 샤프트에 결합되며, 상기 구동 수단은 상기 샤프트의 회전 위치를 검출하는 센서를 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 트랜스미션용 배럴 캠 시프트 메커니즘.
- 듀얼 클러치 트랜스미션용 캠 트랙 시프트 메커니즘(cam track shift mechanism)에 있어서,
제 1 이격된 기어 쌍(pair of gears), 및 상기 제 1 이격된 기어 쌍들 사이에 배치된 제 1 싱크로나이저 클러치(synchronizer clutch);
양방향 평행운동을 위해 배치되며, 상기 제 1 싱크로나이저 클러치를 결합하는 제 1 포크와, 제 1 캠 팔로어를 갖는 제 1 시프트 포크 바디(shift fork body);
제 2 이격된 기어 쌍, 및 상기 제 2 이격된 기어 쌍들 사이에 배치된 제 2 싱크로나이저 클러치;
양방향 평행운동을 위해 배치되며, 상기 제 2 싱크로나이저 클러치를 결합하는 제 2 포크와, 제 2 캠 팔로어를 갖는 제 2 시프트 포크 바디;
축 둘레를 회전하기 위해 배치되며, 상기 제 1 캠 팔로어를 수용하는 제 1 캠 트랙과, 상기 제 2 캠 팔로어를 수용하는 제 2 캠 트랙을 갖는 원통형 캠 바디(cylindrical cam body); 및
상기 캠 바디를 구동하는 출력부를 갖는 감속 조립체를 구동하는 출력부를 구비한 양방향 전기 모터(bi-directional electric motor);를 포함하며,
상기 제 1 캠 트랙은, 상기 캠 바디의 회전에 응답하여 제 1 기어를 결합하도록 상기 제 1 캠 트랙의 제 1 부분을 향해 상기 제 1 캠 팔로어를 일방향으로 안내하며, 상기 캠 바디의 회전에 응답하여 상기 제 1 기어와는 다른 제 2 기어를 결합하도록 상기 제 1 캠 트랙의 상기 제 1 부분으로부터 축방향으로 오프셋(axially offset)되고 원주방향으로 이웃한(circumferentially adjacent) 상기 제 1 캠 트랙의 제 2 부분을 향해 상기 제 1 캠 팔로어를 반대방향으로 안내하는 수단을 갖고,
상기 제 1 및 제 2 캠 트랙은, 트랜스미션의 인접한 기어비의 선택된 쌍에 대응하는 별개의 위치를 형성하는
듀얼 클러치 트랜스미션용 캠 트랙 시프트 메커니즘.
- 제8항에 있어서,
상기 제 1 캠 팔로어는 스프링 가압식 부재를 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 듀얼 클러치 트랜스미션용 캠 트랙 시프트 메커니즘.
- 제8항에 있어서,
상기 안내 수단은 스프링 가압식 게이트(spring biased gate)를 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 듀얼 클러치 트랜스미션용 캠 트랙 시프트 메커니즘.
