Abstract
Description
Claims (10)
- 복수의 게이트 라인을 포함하는 액정 표시 패널;상기 게이트 라인의 개수와 상이한 개수의 게이트 채널을 포함하는 게이트 구동부; 및상기 게이트 구동부로 적어도 하나의 더미 쉬프트 클럭을 포함하는 게이트 쉬프트 클럭 신호를 인가하는 타이밍 컨트롤러를 포함하되,상기 더미 쉬프트 클럭은 적어도 하나 이상의 게이트 쉬프트 클럭 신호 주기마다 발생되며,상기 타이밍 컨트롤러는, 상기 게이트 라인에 게이트 펄스 공급을 차단하도록 게이트 출력 인에이블 신호를 상기 게이트 구동부로 인가하는 동안, 상기 더미 쉬프트 클럭을 인가하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 게이트 채널의 개수는 상기 게이트 라인의 개수 보다 많은 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제2항에 있어서,상기 더미 쉬프트 클럭의 개수는 상기 게이트 라인 개수와 상기 게이트 채널 개수의 차이값과 동일한 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 더미 쉬프트 클럭의 폭은 하나의 상기 게이트 쉬프트 클럭의 폭 보다 작은 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 삭제
- 게이트 라인 개수와 게이트 채널 개수의 차이값을 연산하는 단계;상기 차이값을 이용하여 적어도 하나의 더미 쉬프트 클럭을 포함하는 게이트 쉬프트 클럭 신호를 생성하는 단계; 및상기 게이트 쉬프트 클럭 신호에 따라 상기 게이트 라인에 게이트 펄스를 공급하는 단계를 포함하되,상기 더미 쉬프트 클럭은, 적어도 하나 이상의 상기 게이트 쉬프트 클럭 신호 주기마다 발생되며, 상기 게이트 라인으로 상기 게이트 펄스 공급을 차단하는 게이트 출력 인에이블 신호 인가 기간 내에 인가되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치의 구동 방법.
- 제6항에 있어서,상기 게이트 채널 개수는 상기 게이트 라인 개수 보다 많은 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치의 구동 방법.
- 제6항에 있어서,상기 더미 쉬프트 클럭의 개수는 상기 차이값과 동일한 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치의 구동 방법.
- 제6항에 있어서,상기 더미 쉬프트 클럭의 폭은 하나의 상기 게이트 쉬프트 클럭의 폭 보다 작은 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치의 구동 방법.
