Claims (10)
- 연소 기관용 배기 시스템에 배열되도록 구성된 변환 장치로서,외부 케이싱(1)과, 상기 케이싱(1)으로 둘러싸인 튜브형 몸체(4)와, 배기 가스가 변환 장치를 통과하도록 인도하는 통로를 포함하며,상기 통로는 튜브형 몸체(4) 외부에 위치한 제1 부분(17a)과, 튜브형 몸체(4) 내부에 위치한 제2 부분(17b)과, 제1 부분(17a)과 제2 부분(17b) 사이에서 배기 가스의 유동을 반경 방향으로 안내하는 제3 부분(17c)을 포함하는 변환 장치에 있어서,상기 제1 부분(17a)은, 배기 가스가 튜브형 몸체(4) 외부에서 실질적으로 직선인 축 방향 유동을 하는 것과 비교하여, 길어진 유동 경로를 구성하는 적어도 하나의 축 방향 배기 도관(13a, 13b)을 포함하며,상기 제3 부분(17c)은, 배기 가스가 제1 부분(17a)과 제2 부분(17b) 사이에서 실질적으로 직선인 반경 방향 유동을 하는 것과 비교하여, 길어진 유동 경로를 구성하는 적어도 하나의 소용돌이선형 반경 방향 배기 도관(13c, 13d)을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 변환 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,축 방향 배기 도관(13a, 13b)과 반경 방향 배기 도관(13c, 13d)은 상기 제1 부분(17a)의 공간과 제2 부분(17b)의 공간을 연결하도록 위치하는 것을 특징으로 하는 변환 장치.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서,축 방향 배기 도관(13a, 13b)은 나선형 연장부를 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 변환 장치.
- 제3항에 있어서,축 방향 배기 도관(13a, 13b) 및 반경 방향 배기 도관(13c, 13d) 중 어느 하나 또는 둘 다는 180도 내지 1080도의 각도로 회선하는 것을 특징으로 하는 변환 장치.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서,축 방향 배기 도관(13a, 13b) 및 반경 방향 배기 도관(13c, 13d) 중 어느 하나 또는 둘 다는 단면적이 변하는 구역을 적어도 하나 이상 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 변환 장치.
- 제3항에 있어서,축 방향 배기 도관(13a, 13b) 및 반경 방향 배기 도관(13c, 13d) 중 어느 하나 또는 둘 다는 적어도 하나의 긴 프로파일 부재(12a, 12b, 12c, 12d)로 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 변환 장치.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서,축 방향 배기 도관(13a, 13b) 및 반경 방향 배기 도관(13c, 13d) 중 어느 하나 또는 둘 다는, 서로에 대해 360/n도만큼 편의되어 있는 n개의 프로파일 부재(12a, 12b, 12c, 12d)들로 형성된 n개의 평행 배기 도관(13a, 13b, 13c, 13d)들을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 변환 장치.
- 제7항에 있어서,n은 2와 같거나 2보다 큰 수인 것을 특징으로 하는 변환 장치.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서,배기 가스는, 우선 제1 부분(17a)을 통하여 흐른 후에 제2 부분(17b)을 통과하여 흐를 수 있는 방향으로, 통로를 통해 인도되도록 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는 변환 장치.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서,축 방향 배기 도관(13a, 13b)과 반경 방향 배기 도관(13c, 13d)은 분리 가능한 별도의 모듈(M) 내에 포함되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 변환 장치.
