- 상부에 개구가 형성되고 하부가 엔드캡과 결합되어 챔버를 형성하는 실린더와, 상기 실린더 내에 슬라이딩 가능하게 설치되며 이동에 의해 상기 챔버 내의 가스를 압축하는 피스톤과, 상기 피스톤과 연결되며 상기 개구 외부로 인출되는 로드와, 상기 실린더 또는 상기 엔드캡에 형성된 밸브 캐비티에 설치된 가스충전밸브 유니트를 구비하는 가스 스프링에 있어서,
상기 로드의 상면은 중심 위치를 기준으로 가장자리방향으로 일정거리 만큼 동심상으로 동일높이로 형성된 수평부분과, 상기 수평부분의 종단으로부터 상기 가장자리 방향으로 진행할 수록 높이가 낮아지게 경사진 경사부분을 갖게 형성되어 있고,
상기 로드의 수평부분을 기준으로 상기 경사부분에 대한 경사각은 1 내지 4도이며,
상기 로드의 상기 수평부분 중앙에는 하방으로 인입되게 형성된 결합용 홈이 형성되어 있고, 상기 로드의 중앙으로부터 상기 수평부분의 종단까지의 거리는 상기 로드의 반경을 기준으로 1/3 이상 1/2 이하인 것을 특징으로 하는 가스 스프링.
