Description
Claims (7)
- 영상 데이터를 입력받아 콘트라스트 인헨스먼트(contrast enhancement), 디인터레이싱(Deinterlacing) 등의 신호 처리를 하여 최종적으로 적색, 녹색, 청색 데이터로 구성되는 프레임 데이터를 출력하는 시스템 신호 처리부;상기 시스템 신호 처리부에 탑재되어 형성되며, 이전 프레임을 저장하는 기억소자로 영상 데이터의 신호 처리에 사용되는 프레임 메모리와;상기 프레임 메모리에서 잔달 받은 이전 프레임 데이터와 상기 시스템 신호 처리부에서 신호처리된 현재 프레임 데이터를 비교하여 변화가 있으면, 룩 업 테이블에서 해당되는 변조 데이터를 선택하고, 선택된 변조 데이터에 따라서 상기 현재 프레임 데이터를 오버 드라이빙하여 출력하는 오버 드라이빙 처리부와;오버 드라이빙된 프레임 데이터를 입력받아 영상을 디스플레이 하는 액정패널과;상기 액정패널에 탑재되어 형성되며, 상기 오버 드라이빙 처리부에 전달되는 룩 업 테이블을 저장하는 기억 소자인 EEPROM을 포함하는 오버 드라이빙 구동장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 프레임 메모리는 SDRAM인 오버 드라이빙 구동장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 룩 업 테이블은 시스템 초기화 과정에서 상기 오버 드라이빙 처리부로 전달되어 이후 오버 드리이빙에 사용되는 오버 드라이빙 구동장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 룩 업 테이블은 상기 액정패널의 특성에 따라서 달라지며, 상기 액정패널의 제조사에서 실험을 통해 얻은 오버 드라이빙 데이터로 제작되는 오버 드라이빙 구동장치.
- 영상 데이터를 신호 처리하는 시스템 신호 처리부, 이전 프레임 데이터와 현재 프레임 데이터를 비교하여 변화가 있으면 룩 업 테이블에 해당되는 데이터로 상기 현재 프레임 데이터를 오버 드라이빙하는 오버 드라이빙 처리부, 상기 시스템 신호 처리부에 탑재되어 형성되고, 이전 프레임 데이터를 저장하는 기억 소자로 상기 영상 데이터의 신호 처리 및 프레임 데이터의 오버 드라이빙에 사용되는 프레임 메모리와, 오버 드라이빙된 프레임 데이터를 입력받아 영상을 디스플레이 하는 액정패널과, 상기 룩 업 테이블을 저장하는 EEPROM을 포함하는 오버 드라이빙 구동장치의 오버 드라이빙 구동방법에 있어서,상기 시스템 신호 처리부에서 입력 받은 영상 데이터를 콘트라스트 인헨스먼트(contrast enhancement), 디인터레이싱(Deinterlacing) 등의 신호 처리를 하여 최종적으로 적색, 녹색, 청색 데이터로 구성되는 프레임 데이터를 출력하는 신호 처리 단계;상기 프레임 메모리로부터 전달 받은 이전 프레임 데이터와 상기 시스템 신호 처리부에서 신호처리된 현재 프레임 데이터를 비교하여 변화가 있으면 상기 룩 업 테이블에서 해당되는 변조 데이터를 선택하여 상기 현재 프레임 데이터를 오버 드라이빙하는 오버 드라이빙 단계;상기 액정패널에서 오버 드라이빙된 프레임 데이터를 입력받아 영상을 디스플레이 하는 디스플레이 단계;상기 액정패널에 탑재되어 형성되는 EEPROM에 저장된 상기 룩 업 테이블을 시스템 초기화 단계에서 상기 오버 드라이빙 처리부로 전달하는 룩 업 테이블 전달 단계를 포함하는 오버 드라이빙 구동방법.
- 제 5항에 있어서,상기 프레임 메모리는 SDRAM인 오버 드라이빙 구동방법.
- 제 5항에 있어서,상기 룩 업 테이블은 상기 액정패널의 특성에 따라서 달라지며, 상기 액정패 널의 제조사에서 실험을 통해 얻은 오버 드라이빙 데이터로 제작되는 오버 드라이빙 구동방법.
