Abstract
Description

Claims (15)
- 무선 통신 시스템(100)에서 호출(call)을 셋업(setup)하기 위한 방법으로서,캡슐화된 메세지(M1+M2)를 형성하기 위해 다수의 시그널링 메세지들(M1;M2)을 캡슐화하는 단계; 및상기 캡슐화된 메세지를 전송하는 단계(2106)를 포함하고,캡슐화할 시그널링 메세지들의 수가 상기 캡슐화된 메세지의 허용가능한 프레임 에러율(frame error rate)에 기초하여 결정되는,호출 셋업 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 캡슐화된 메세지에 에러 정정 메카니즘을 적용시키는 단계를 더 포함하는,호출 셋업 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 캡슐화된 메세지 내의 각각의 메세지에 에러 정정 메카니즘을 적용시키는 단계를 더 포함하는,호출 셋업 방법.

- 컴퓨터-판독가능 매체로서,적어도 하나의 컴퓨터로 하여금 캡슐화된 메세지(M1+M2)를 형성하기 위해 다수의 시그널링 메세지들(M1;M2)을 캡슐화하도록 하기 위한 코드; 및상기 적어도 하나의 컴퓨터로 하여금 상기 캡슐화된 메세지(2106)를 전송하도록 하기 위한 코드를 포함하고,캡슐화할 시그널링 메세지들의 수가 상기 캡슐화된 메세지의 허용가능한 프레임 에러율에 기초하여 결정되는,컴퓨터-판독가능 매체.
- 제 7 항에 있어서, 상기 적어도 하나의 컴퓨터로 하여금 상기 캡슐화된 메세지에 에러 정정 메카니즘을 적용하도록 하기 위한 코드를 더 포함하는,컴퓨터-판독가능 매체.
- 제 7 항에 있어서, 상기 적어도 하나의 컴퓨터로 하여금 상기 캡슐화된 메세지 내의 각각의 메세지에 에러 정정 메카니즘을 적용하도록 하기 위한 코드를 더 포함하는,컴퓨터-판독가능 매체.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,전송되는 캡슐화된 메세지 내의 시그널링 메세지들 모두가 정확하게 수신되는지 여부를 결정하는 단계; 및상기 전송되는 캡슐화된 메세지 내의 상기 시그널링 메세지들 중 정확하게 수신되지 않은 임의의 시그널링 메세지를 재전송하는 단계를 더 포함하는,호출 셋업 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 캡슐화된 메세지 내의 상기 다수의 시그널링 메세지들은 발신 메세지(Origination Message) 및 데이터 버스트 메세지(Data Burst message)를 포함하고,상기 캡슐화된 메세지는 계층 3(L3) 기능(behavior)이 상기 발신 메세지만을 전송하도록 구성되는,호출 셋업 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 캡슐화된 메세지 내의 상기 다수의 시그널링 메세지들은 페이지 응답 메세지(Page Response Message) 및 데이터 버스트 메세지(Data Burst message)를 포함하고,상기 캡슐화된 메세지는 계층 3(L3) 기능이 상기 페이지 응답 메세지만을 전송하도록 구성되는,호출 셋업 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 캡슐화된 메세지 내의 상기 다수의 시그널링 메세지들은 두 개의 데이터 버스트 메세지들을 포함하고,상기 캡슐화된 메세지는 계층 3(L3) 기능이 단일 데이터 버스트 메세지를 전송하도록 구성되는,호출 셋업 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 캡슐화된 메세지는 상기 캡슐화된 메세지에 포함되는 시그널링 메세지들의 수를 나타내는 필드를 포함하고,상기 캡슐화된 메세지는 상기 캡슐화된 메세지에 포함되는 각각의 시그널링 메세지에 대해, 레코드(record)를 또한 포함하고,상기 레코드는,시그널링 메세지에 대한 식별자를 포함하는 제 1 필드;상기 시그널링 메세지의 길이를 나타내는 제 2 필드;상기 시그널링 메세지를 포함하는 제 3 필드; 및적어도 하나의 예약된(reserved) 필드를 포함하는,호출 셋업 방법.
- 무선 통신 시스템에서 호출을 셋업하기 위한 장치로서,캡슐화된 메세지를 형성하기 위해 다수의 시그널링 메세지들을 캡슐화하고, 캡슐화된 메세지를 전송하도록 구성되는 회로를 포함하고,캡슐화할 시그널링 메세지들의 수가 상기 캡슐화된 메세지의 허용가능한 프레임 에러율에 기초하여 결정되는,호출 셋업 장치.
