Abstract
Description
터빈의 허브(20)는 허브의 중심축을 지나 연장하는 길이방향의 바이패스 구멍(32)을 포함하며, 이로써 상기 허브(20)는 회전자의 환형(annular) 내부 림(inner rim)을 형성한다. 상기 허브를 지나 연장하는 바이패스 구멍(32)을 가진 상기 환형 허브(20)는 날개 뿌리가 부착된 내부 림을 형성하며, 이와 대비하여 외부 회전자 림(54)에는 날개 첨두가 부착된다. 상기 허브(20) 및 바이패스 구멍(32)에 의해 형성된 내부 회전자 림은 상기 터빈의 중심을 향해 내측 방사상으로(inward radially) 위치되며, 상대적으로 상기 외부 회전자 림(54)은 상기 터빈의 중심으로부터 외측 방사상으로(outward radially) 위치된다.
Claims (43)
- 물 흐름으로부터 전력을 생성하기 위한 수력 터빈 발전기 장치에 있어서, 상기 장치는 적어도 하나의 물에 잠겨진(flooded) 마그네틱 발전기를 포함하고,(a) 외부 회전자 림(rim) 및 그들의 첨두(tip)가 상기 회전자 림에 부착되고 상기 회전자 림으로부터 내측으로 방사상으로 연장하는 다수의 날개들로 이루어진 적어도 하나의 회전자 디스크;(b) 덕트를 한정하는 원통형 하우징, 상기 덕트는 상기 날개의 첨두(tip)에 인접한(proximate) 것을 특징으로 하는 물 흐름으로부터 전력을 생성하기 위한 수력 터빈 발전기 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 물에 잠긴 발전기는 물에 잠긴 마그네틱 림 발전기인 것을 특징으로 하는 물 흐름으로부터 전력을 발생시키기 위한 수력 터빈 발전기 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 날개는 단면이 대칭적인 것을 특징으로 하는 물 흐름으로부터 전력을 생성하기 위한 수력 터빈 발전기 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 날개는 상기 외부 회전자 림으로부터 원심에 위치된 뿌리(roots)를 포함하여 이루어지고, 상기 날개 뿌리는 허브에 부착되며, 외부 회전자 림에 상대적이며 상기 터빈의 중심을 향하여 내측 방사상으로 위치된 것을 특징으로 하는 물 흐름으로부터 전력을 생성하기 위한 수력 터빈 발전기 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 장치는 제 1 회전자 디스크 및 제 2 회전자 디스크를 포함하여 이루어지고, 상기 제 1 회전자 디스크는 상방향이고 상기 물 흐름에 대하여 제 1 방향으로 회전하고 상기 제 2 회전자 디스크는 하류방향이고 상기 물 흐름에 대해 제 2 방향으로 상기 제 1 회전자 디스크에 관련하여 반대로 회전하는 것을 특징으로 하는 물 흐름으로부터 전력을 발생시키기 위한 수력 터빈 발전기 장치.
- 제 4 항에 있어서, 상기 허브는 고리모양이고 상기 회전자 디스크의 중심에 위치된 구멍을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 물 흐름으로부터 전력을 생성하기 위한 수력 터빈 발전기 장치.

- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 물에 잠긴 마그네틱 발전기는 물에 잠긴 마그네틱 허브 발전기인 것을 특징으로 하는 물 흐름으로부터 전력을 생성하기 위한 수력 터빈 발전기 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 장치는 상기 물 흐름이 상기 허브를 통해 길이방향으로(longitudinally) 통과하는 식으로 상기 허브에 의해 한정된 바이패스 구멍을 포함하여 이루어진 것을 특징으로 하는 물 흐름으로부터 전력을 생성하기 위한 수력 터빈 발전기 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 물에 잠긴 마그네틱 발전기는 주변의 물(ambient water)로 잠겨진(flooded) 것을 특징으로 하는 물 흐름으로부터 전력을 생성하기 위한 수력 터빈 발전기 장치.
- 제 2 항에 있어서, 상기 물에 잠긴 마그네틱 림 발전기는 주변의 물(ambient water)로 잠겨진(flooded) 것을 특징으로 하는 물 흐름으로부터 전력을 생성하기 위한 수력 터빈 발전기 장치.
- 제 8 항에 있어서, 상기 물에 잠긴 마그네틱 허브 발전기는 주변의 물(ambient water)로 잠겨진(flooded) 것을 특징으로 하는 물 흐름으로부터 전력을 생성하기 위한 수력 터빈 발전기 장치.
- 제 2 항에 있어서, 상기 물에 잠긴 마그네틱 림 발전기는 상기 덕트의 리세스(recess)내에 안착된 상기 회전자 디스크의 상기 외부 회전자 림에 부착된 하나 이상의 자석들; 및 상기 회전자 디스크에 인접한 상기 덕트의 내부 벽내에 배치된 하나 이상의 고정자 코일들로 이루어진 것을 특징으로 하는 물 흐름으로부터 전력을 생성하기 위한 수력 터빈 발전기 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 적어도 하나의 회전자 디스크 및 적어도 하나의 물에 잠긴 마그네틱 발전기는 단일의 모듈 또는 카세트로서 제거가능하게 부착된 것을 특징으로 하는 물 흐름으로부터 전력을 생성하기 위한 수력 터빈 발전기 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 장치는 상기 회전자 디스크 및 상기 덕트, 하우징 또는 상기 회전자 디스크의 허브 중 적어도 하나와의 사이에 배치된 하나 이상의 마그네틱 베어링을 포함하여 이루어진 것을 특징으로 하는 물 흐름으로부터 전력을 생성하기 위한 수력 터빈 발전기 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 장치는 상기 회전자 디스크 및 상기 덕트, 하우징 또는 상기 회전자 디스크의 허브 중 적어도 하나와의 사이에 배치된 제 1 및 제 2 마그네틱 베어링을 더 포함하여 이루어지고; 상기 제 1 및 제 2 마그네틱 베어링은 회전자 디스크 및 상기 덕트, 하우징 또는 허브의 적어도 하나와의 사이에서 측면 부하(lateral loads)에 동축으로(concentrically) 저항하는(resist) 것을 특징으로 하는 물 흐름으로부터 전력을 생성하기 위한 수력 터빈 발전기 장치.
- 제 2 항에 있어서, 상기 물에 잠긴 마그네틱 림 발전기는 이중 또는 단일 동축 자속(flux) 발전기 및 이중 또는 단일 방사 자속 발전기 중 적어도 하나인 것을 특징으로 하는 물 흐름으로부터 전력을 생성하기 위한 수력 터빈 발전기 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 수력 터빈 발전기는 양방향이고 전력의 생성을 위한 상기 하우징의 두개의 개방단부 중 하나로부터 상기 물 흐름을 받아들일 수 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 물 흐름으로부터 전력을 생성하기 위한 수력 터빈 발전기 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 적어도 하나의 터빈 발전기는 상기 터빈 발전기를 선택적으로 낮추거나 올릴 수 있도록 채택된 적어도 하나의 신축자재의 해저 기둥(sub-marine pylon)상에 장착된 것을 특징으로 하는 물 흐름으로부터 전력을 생성하기 위한 수력 터빈 발전기 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 적어도 하나의 터빈 발전기는 강바닥상에 휴지하고있는(resting) 적어도 하나의 중력 기초 구조(gravity foundation structure)상에 장착된 것을 특징으로 하는 물 흐름으로부터 전력을 생성하기 위한 수력 터빈 발전기 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 장치는 상기 덕트의 외부 표면상에 배치된 증대기(augmenter)를 더 포함하여 이루어지며, 상기 증대기는 뒤집힐 수 있는(reversible)것을 특징으로 하는 물 흐름으로부터 전력을 생성하기 위한 수력 터빈 발전기 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 덕트는 벤츄리 효과를 창출하는 수렴(converging) 내부 표면을 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 물 흐름으로부터 전력을 생성하기 위한 수력 터빈 발전기 장치.
- 물 흐름으로부터 전력을 생성하기 위한 수력 터빈 발전기 장치에 있어서, 상기 장치는 적어도 하나의 개봉된(unsealed) 마그네틱 발전기를 포함하고,(a) 외부 회전자 림(rim) 및 그들의 첨두(tip)가 상기 회전자 림에 부착되고 상기 회전자 림으로부터 내측으로 방사상으로 연장하는 다수의 날개들로 이루어진 적어도 하나의 회전자 디스크;(b) 덕트를 한정하는 원통형 하우징, 상기 덕트는 상기 날개의 첨두(tip)에 인접한(proximate) 것을 특징으로 하는 물 흐름으로부터 전력을 생성하기 위한 수력 터빈 발전기 장치.
- 제 23 항에 있어서, 상기 개봉된 마그네틱 발전기는 개봉된 림 발전기 및 개봉된 마그네틱 허브 발전기 중 적어도 하나인 것을 특징으로 하는 물 흐름으로부터 전력을 발생시키기 위한 수력 터빈 발전기 장치.
- 제 23 항에 있어서, 상기 개봉된 발전기는 주위 물에 잠겨진(flooded) 것을 특징으로 하는 물 흐름으로부터 전력을 생성하기 위한 수력 터빈 발전기 장치.
