Claims (5)
- 크랭크 케이스(2), 실린더 블록(3) 및 실린더 헤드(5)로 이루어지는 엔진 본체(1)의 한쪽에 형성한 타이밍 전동실(48)에, 크랭크 케이스(2)에 지지되는 크랭크축(12)과 흡기 및 배기 밸브(29i, 29e)의 머리 위에서 실린더 헤드(5)에 지지되는 캠축(36) 사이를 연결하는 타이밍 전동 장치(37)를 수용하고, 실린더 헤드(5)의 일측벽(5a)과, 실린더 헤드(5)에 형성되며 타이밍 전동실(48)에 인접하는 격벽(5b)으로 캠축(36)의 양단부를 지지하고, 이 캠축(36)을 수용하는 밸브 작동실(49)을 상기 일측벽(5a) 및 격벽(5b) 사이에 구획하여 이루어지는 엔진의 밸브 작동 장치에 있어서,타이밍 전동실(48)에는, 그 저부에 저류하는 윤활 오일(71)을 비산시켜서 타이밍 전동 장치(37)의 하부에 부착시키는 오일 슬링거(72)를 배치하고, 상기 오일 슬링거(72)는 크랭크축(12)으로부터 기어(74, 74')를 통하여 구동되며, 상기 격벽(5b)에는, 타이밍 전동 장치(37)의 상부에서 떨어진 비산 오일을 밸브 작동실(49)로 유도하는 오일 통과 구멍(75)을 형성하며, 크랭크 케이스(2) 내의 크랭크실(9)에서 발생하는 맥동 압력을 밸브 작동실(49)에 전달하고 밸브 작동실(49)에 고인 오일을 크랭크실(9)로 유하(流下)시키는 오일 복귀 통로(77)를 실린더 헤드(5) 및 실린더 블록(3)에 형성하고,실린더 헤드(5)의 타측면에는, 타이밍 전동 장치(37)의 종동 회전 부재(46)의 캠축(36)에의 착탈을 가능하게 하는 작업창(55)을 개구시키고, 이 작업창(55)을 폐쇄하는 덮개(57)의 측벽을 상기 종동 회전 부재(46)의 측면에 대하여 경사지게 해서, 타이밍 전동 장치(37)의 상부에서 떨어진 비산 오일이 덮개(57)의 측벽 내면에서 상기 종동 회전 부재(46)측으로 반사하도록 하며, 그 반사 오일의 통과를 허용하는 관통공(64)을 상기 종동 회전 부재(46)에 형성한 것을 특징으로 하는 엔진의 밸브 작동 장치.
- 삭제
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 격벽(5b)에, 캠축(36)의 베어링(41) 주위에서 타이밍 전동실(48) 및 밸브 작동실(49) 사이를 연통(連通)하는 오일 통과 홈(76)을 형성한 것을 특징으로 하는 엔진의 밸브 작동 장치.
- 제1항 또는 제3항에 있어서, 상기 오일 통과 구멍(75)에, 밸브 작동실(49)로부터 타이밍 전동실(48)로의 부압의 전달만을 허용하는 일방향 밸브(79)를 설치한 것을 특징으로 하는 엔진의 밸브 작동 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 크랭크 케이스(2)내의 크랭크실(9)은 상기 타이밍 전동실(48)과 연통하고, 이들 크랭크실(9) 및 타이밍 전동실(48)에 공통의 윤활 오일(71)이 저류되는 것을 특징으로 하는 엔진의 밸브 작동 장치.
