Description
Claims (5)
- 차량과 물체와의 충돌을 검출하여 충돌 완화 장치(6a, 6b)에 작동 신호를 출력하는 충돌 판단 시스템으로서, 상기 시스템은,상기 차량의 선단부(1)에 장착하여 차량 종축 방향으로의 상기 선단부의 운동 가속도를 검출하는 복수의 가속도 센서(2a, 2b)와,상기 가속도 센서의 하나가 설정치 이상의 가속도를 검출한 후에 또 다른 가속도 센서가 설정된 시간 내에 설정치 이상의 가속도를 검출한 경우 소정의 시간 간격에 대한 작동 허용 신호를 출력하는 작동 허용 수단(actuation permitting means)(24)과,상기 가속도 센서의 최소한 하나에 의해서 검출된 가속도에 기초하여 소정 물체와의 충돌이 발생한 것으로 판단할 때 충돌 검출 신호를 출력하는 충돌 검출 수단(23), 및상기 작동 허용 수단으로부터의 작동 허용 신호와 상기 충돌 검출 수단으로부터의 충돌 검출 신호 모두를 수신한 경우 상기 충돌 완화 장치에 작동 신호를 출력하는 작동 신호 출력 수단(22)을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 충돌 판단 시스템.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 작동 허용 수단(24), 충돌 검출 수단(23) 및 작동 신호 출력 수단(22)을 포함하는 제어 유닛(7)을, 상기 가속도 센서(2a, 2b)의 위치와는 상이한 위치에 탑재하는 것을 특징으로 하는 충돌 판단 시스템.
- 차량과 물체와의 충돌을 검출하여 충돌 완화 장치(206a, 206b)에 작동 신호를 출력하는 충돌 판단 시스템으로서, 상기 시스템은,상기 차량의 선단부(201)에 장착하여 차량 종축 방향으로의 상기 선단부의 운동 가속도를 검출하는 복수의 가속도 센서(202a, 202b, 202c)와,상기 각각의 가속도 센서와 통신하도록 구성되어서, 상기 가속도 센서에 의해서 검출된 상기 가속도로 연산을 실행함으로써, 상기 차량과 상기 물체와의 충돌을 검출하는 복수의 충돌 검출 수단(212a, 212b, 212c)과,상기 각각의 가속도 센서와 통신하도록 구성되어서, 상기 가속도 센서에 의해서 검출된 상기 가속도가 설정치 이상인가 아닌가의 여부를 판단하는 복수의 가속도 비교 수단(210a, 210b, 210c), 및상기 충돌 검출 수단 중 어느 것이든지 충돌을 검출하고, 또한 충돌을 검출하는 상기 충돌 검출 수단이 참조하는 가속도 센서와는 상이한 대응하는 가속도 센서를 참조하는 상기 가속도 비교 수단 중 어느 것이든지 충돌 검출 이전의 소정의 과거 시간 간격 동안 설정치 이상의 가속도를 검출한 것으로 판단한 경우, 작동 신호를 출력하는, 작동 신호 출력 수단(217)을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 충돌 판단 시스템.
- 제3항에 있어서, 상기 작동 신호 출력 수단은, 상기 충돌 검출 수단 중 어느 것이든지 충돌을 검출하고, 또한 충돌을 검출하는 상기 충돌 검출 수단이 참조하는 가속도 센서에 인접해서 설치된 가속도 센서를 참조하는 가속도 비교 수단이 충돌 검출 이전의 소정의 과거 시간 간격 동안 설정치 이상의 가속도를 검출한 상태에서 작동 신호를 출력하는 것을 특징으로 하는 충돌 판단 시스템.
- 제3항에 있어서, 상기 충돌 검출 수단, 가속도 비교 수단 및 작동 신호 출력 수단을 포함하는 제어 유닛을, 상기 가속도 센서의 위치와는 상이한 위치에 탑재하는 것을 특징으로 하는 충돌 판단 시스템.
