Abstract
Description
Claims (14)
- 풀셀 또는 바이셀의 단위 셀을 분리필름으로 감싸서 다수의 단위 셀들을 중첩시킨 스택 & 폴딩형 전기화학소자로서, 상기 단위 셀 중의 분리막은 적어도 150℃까지 열수축이 나타나지 않는 다공성 소재로 이루어져 있고, 상기 분리필름은 100 ~ 150℃의 범위에서 열적 거동에 의해 셧다운 기능을 발휘하는 다공성 소재로 이루어져 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기화학소자.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 스택 & 폴딩형 전기화학소자는 풀셀 또는 바이셀로 이루어진 단위 셀들을 감쌀 수 있는 단위길이를 가진 다공성 분리필름이 단위길이마다 내측으로 꺾여서 중앙의 단위 셀로부터 시작되어 최외각의 단위 셀까지 연속하여 각각의 단위 셀을 감싸서 단위 셀들의 중첩부에 개재되어 있는 구조를 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기화학소자.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 스택 & 폴딩형 전기화학소자는 풀셀 또는 바이셀로 이루어진 단위 셀들을 감쌀 수 있는 단위길이를 가진 다공성 분리필름이 단위길이마다 외측으로 꺾여서 첫단의 단위 셀로부터 시작되어 끝단의 단위 셀까지 연속하여 Z형으로 각각의 단위 셀을 폴딩하고, 여분의 분리필름이 중첩된 단위 셀들의 외주부를 감싸서 단위 셀들의 중첩부에 개재되어 있는 구조를 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기화학소자.
- 삭제
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 분리막은 세라믹계 물질 또는 융점이 200℃ 이상인 엔지니어링 플라스틱으로 되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기화학소자.
- 제 5 항에 있어서, 상기 세라믹계 물질은 Pb(Zr,Ti)O3, Pb1-xLaxZr1-yTiyO3(x 및 y는 각각 0 ~ 1이다), PB(Mg3Nb2/3)O3-PbTiO3, BaTiO3, HfO2, SrTiO3, TiO2, SiO2, Al2O3, ZrO2, SnO2, CeO2, MgO, CaO, Y2O3 또는 이들의 둘 또는 그 이상의 혼합체 것을 특징으로 하는 전기화학소자.
- 제 5 항에 있어서, 상기 엔지니어링 플라스틱은 폴리에스테르, 폴리술폰, 폴리이미드, 폴리아마이드, 폴리아세탈, 또는 이들의 둘 또는 이상의 혼합체인 것을 특징으로 하는 전기화학소자.
- 삭제
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 분리필름은 120 ~ 140℃의 범위에서 열적 거동에 의해 셧다운 기능을 발휘하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기화학소자.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 분리필름은 폴리올레핀계 수지, 그것의 공중합체, 또는 블랜드로 되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기화학소자.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 분리필름은 폴딩 방향으로만 열수축이 일어나도록 폴딩 방향으로 1축 연신한 다공성 소재로 되어있는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기화학소자.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 전기화학소자는 리튬 이차전지인 것을 특징으로 하는 전기화학소자.
- 제 1 항에 따른 전기화학소자를 하나 또는 그 이상으로 포함하고 있는 전기화학소자 팩.
- 제 13 항에 있어서, 상기 전기화학소자들이 병렬 또는 직렬방식으로 연결되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기화학소자 팩.
