Claims (4)
- VoIP 통화를 위해 호를 설정하는 단계;통화에 사용되는 음성 코덱의 패킷 발생 주기와 일치하는 통화 웨이크업 주기를 설정하는 단계;상기 통화 웨이크업 주기마다 웨이크업하여 상기 음성 코덱에 의해 생성된 음성 패킷을 연결된 AP로 송신하고, 상기 연결된 AP로부터 음성 패킷을 수신하여 상기 VoIP 통화를 진행하는 단계; 및상기 VoIP 통화가 종료되면 호를 종료하고, 상기 통화 웨이크업 주기에 따른 동작을 중지하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 무선랜 스테이션의 VoIP 통화 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 호를 설정하는 단계 이후, 상기 연결된 AP가 U-APSD 규격을 지원하는 AP인지 확인하는 단계를 더 포함하며,상기 연결된 AP가 U-APSD 규격을 지원하는 AP가 아닌 것으로 확인된 경우, 상기 통화 웨이크업 주기를 설정하는 단계, 상기 VoIP 통화를 진행하는 단계 및 상기 통화 웨이크업 주기에 따른 동작을 중지하는 단계를 실행하는 것을 특징으로 하는 무선랜 스테이션의 VoIP 통화 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 VoIP 통화를 진행하는 단계는,상기 웨이크업 주기마다 웨이크업하여 상기 연결된 AP에게 무선랜 표준에서 정의된 절전모드를 사용하지 않음을 통보하며, 자신의 드라이버 소프트웨어로 인터럽트를 걸어 웨이크업 이벤트를 통보하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 무선랜 스테이션의 VoIP 통화 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 통화 웨이크업 주기에 따른 동작을 중지하는 단계는,사전 설정된 기간동안 송신 또는 수신하여야 할 음성패킷이 존재하지 않는 경우, 상기 연결된 AP에 상기 무선랜 표준에서 정의된 절전모드를 사용함을 통보하고, 상기 무선랜 표준에서 정의된 절전모드에 들어가는 단계인 것을 특징으로 하는 무선랜 스테이션의 VoIP 통화 방법.
