Claims (5)
- 복수의 스테이션으로 이루어진 네트워크에서 전송될 프레임을 갖는 스테이션에서 실시간 어플리케이션을 위한 백오프 처리를 수행하기 위한 매체 액세스 제어(MAC) 계층 모듈에 있어서,전송하려는 데이터에 대한 우선순위를 인식하여 분류하는 우선순위 인식부와,상기 전송하려는 데이터의 우선순위에 따라 의사 랜덤하게 경쟁 윈도우(contention window: CW)을 생성하는 경쟁 윈도우 생성부와,상기 생성된 CW에 따라 백오프 시간을 생성하고 상기 백오프 시간을 이용하여 백오프 처리를 수행하는 백오프 시간 계산 및 백오프 처리부와,상기 동일한 우선순위를 가진 데이터 전송에서 충돌 발생시 랜덤하게 CW를 생성하는 충돌 경쟁 윈도우 생성부를 포함하며,상기 경쟁 윈도우 생성부는 높은 우선순위를 가진 데이터가 낮은 우선순위를 가진 데이터보다 더 작은 범위 내에서 의사 랜덤하게 경쟁 윈도우를 생성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 매체 액세스 제어 계층 모듈.
- 복수의 스테이션으로 이루어진 네트워크에서 전송될 프레임을 갖는 스테이션에서 실시간 어플리케이션을 위한 액세스 경쟁 방법에 있어서,매체를 통한 전송시 충돌이 발생하면 전송하려는 MAC 프로토콜 데이터 유닛(MPDU)의 우선순위를 식별하는 단계와,상기 식별된 우선순위별로 제한된 범위 내에서 의사 랜덤하게 경쟁 윈도우 값을 생성하는 단계를 포함하며,상기 경쟁 윈도우는 높은 우선순위를 가진 MPDU가 낮은 우선순위를 가진 MPDU보다 더 작은 범위 내에서 의사 랜덤하게 생성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액세스 경쟁 방법.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 MPDU의 우선순위별로 생성된 경쟁 윈도우값에 따라 백오프 절차를 수행한 후에 또 다시 충돌이 발생하면, 우선순위별로 정해진 제한된 범위 내에서 랜덤하게 경쟁 윈도우를 생성하는 단계를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액세스 경쟁 방법.
- 제3항에 있어서, 충돌 발생에 따른 재전송 시도시 재전송 시도 횟수가 재전송 시도 제한 횟수 이하인지를 판단하는 단계를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액세스 경쟁 방법.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 MPDU는 지연에 민감한 멀티미디어 데이터를 포함한 경우에 지연에 민감하지 않은 데이터를 포함한 경우보다 우선순위가 높은 것을 특징으로 하는 액세스 경쟁 방법.
