Abstract
Description
Claims (26)
- 알루미늄의 용융 온도를 초과하는 온도에서 알루미늄과 반응성인 붕소 함유 세라믹을, 알루미늄 또는 알루미늄 합금으로 이루어진 금속 분말과 혼합하는 단계(a),단계(a)의 혼합물을 다공성 예비성형물로 성형하는 단계(b),다공성 예비성형물을, 용융 온도가 금속 분말보다 낮은 알루미늄 또는 알루미늄 합금으로 이루어진 침투 금속과 접촉시키는 단계(c) 및다공성 예비성형물과 침투 금속을, 침투 금속을 용융시키기에는 충분하지만 금속 분말을 용융시키기에는 불충분한 침투 온도로 가열하여, 침투 금속이 다공성 예비성형물에 침투하고 실질적으로 농밀한(dense) 붕소 함유 세라믹-알루미늄 금속 복합체를 형성하도록 하는 단계(d)를 포함하는, 붕소 함유 세라믹-알루미늄 금속 복합체의 형성방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 붕소 함유 세라믹-알루미늄 금속 복합체가 붕소 함유 세라믹과 알루미늄의 반응 생성물 하나 이상으로 이루어지는 방법.
- 제2항에 있어서, 붕소 함유 세라믹이 탄화붕소인 방법.
- 제3항에 있어서, 반응 생성물이 AlB2, Al4BC, Al3B48C2 , AlB12, Al4C3, AlB24C4 또는 이들의 혼합물로 이루어지는 방법.
- 제4항에 있어서, 반응 혼합물이 AlB2, Al4BC, Al3B48C2 , AlB12, AlB24C4 또는 이들의 혼합물로 이루어지는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 붕소 함유 세라믹-알루미늄 금속 복합체의 60용적% 이상이 알루미늄 또는 이의 합금인 방법.
- 제5항에 있어서, 붕소 함유 세라믹-알루미늄 금속 복합체의 70용적% 이상이 알루미늄 또는 이의 합금인 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 침투 온도가 금속 분말이 용융하는 온도보다 10℃ 이상 낮은 방법.
- 제8항에 있어서, 침투 온도가 금속 분말이 용융하는 온도보다 20℃ 이상 낮은 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 붕소 함유 세라믹-알루미늄 금속 복합체가, 금속 분말이 용융되는 온도를 초과하는 열처리 온도로 추가로 가열되는 방법.
- 알루미늄 금속 또는 이의 합금 60용적% 이상과, 알루미늄 금속 또는 이의 합금에 분산된 알루미늄과 붕소 함유 세라믹의 반응 생성물 하나 이상과 붕소 함유 세라믹으로 이루어지며, 밀도가 이론적 밀도의 95% 이상인 붕소 함유 세라믹-알루미늄 금속 복합체.
- 제11항에 있어서, 알루미늄 또는 이의 합금 70용적% 이상으로 이루어지는 붕소 함유 세라믹-알루미늄 금속 복합체.
- 제11항에 있어서, 붕소 함유 세라믹이 탄화붕소이고 반응 생성물이 AlB2, Al4BC, Al3B48C2, AlB12, Al4C3, AlB24C4 또는 이들의 혼합물로 이루어지는, 붕소 함유 세라믹-알루미늄 금속 복합체.
- 제13항에 있어서, 반응 생성물이 AlB2, Al4BC, Al3B48C2, AlB12, AlB24C4 또는 이들의 혼합물인, 붕소 함유 세라믹-알루미늄 금속 복합체.
- 제13항에 있어서, 붕소 함유 세라믹이, 복합체에 존재하는 반응 생성물과 붕소 함유 세라믹의 총량의 10용적% 이상의 양으로 복합체에 존재하는, 붕소 함유 세라믹-알루미늄 금속 복합체.
- 제15항에 있어서, 붕소 함유 세라믹의 양이, 복합체에 존재하는 반응 생성물과 붕소 함유 세라믹의 총량의 50용적% 이상인, 붕소 함유 세라믹-알루미늄 금속 복합체.
- 제16항에 있어서, 붕소 함유 세라믹의 양이 복합체에 존재하는 반응 생성물과 붕소 함유 세라믹의 총량의 75용적% 이상인, 붕소 함유 세라믹-알루미늄 금속 복합체.
- 제11항의 복합체로 이루어진 차량용 부품.
- 제18항에 있어서, 제동 부품, 서스펜션 부품, 차체 부품, 조타 부품(steering part), 휠 림(wheel rim), 엔진 부품, 냉각 또는 가열 시스템 부품, 에어 컨디셔닝 부품, 연료 부품, 배기 부품, 변속 부품, 클러치 부품 또는 구동축 부품인 차량용 부품.
- 제1항에 있어서, 가열이 진공하에 수행되거나 대기압 이하의 불활성 대기하에 수행되는 방법.
