Abstract
Description
종래에는 공기현가장치의 효율을 증가시키는 것이 가장 큰 목표였기 때문에, 공기압축 유닛(10)에 포함된 압축기, 모터 등의 장치들이 밸브 블록(20)과 일체로 구성되었다. 따라서 전체 부피가 증가될 수밖에 없었고 밸브 블록(20)의 설치 위치가 제한될 수밖에 없었다. 특히 차량의 중심에는 엔진으로부터의 구동력을 전달하는 차축이 위치하므로, 밸브 블록(20)은 이 차축을 비켜서 설치될 수밖에 없었다.
그러나 공기현가장치의 효율이 개선됨에 따라, 다음과 같이 밸브 블록(20)의 설치위치가 차량의 중심으로부터 일측으로 편심됨으로 인한 문제가 점차 대두되었고, 주행중 미세한 승차감과 선회시의 조종 안정성에 대한 요구가 더욱 중요하게 되었다.
Claims (4)
- 공기를 압축시키는 공기압축 유닛과, 복수의 에어 스프링과, 상기 공기압축 유닛으로부터 압축된 공기를 각각의 상기 에어 스프링에 분배하는 밸브 블록과, 차량에 부착된 각종 센서로부터 신호를 수신하여 상기 공기압축 유닛과 상기 밸브 블록을 제어하는 ECU을 포함하는 공기현가장치로서,상기 밸브 블록은 압축된 공기를 복수의 상기 에어 스프링에 각각 공급하거나 배기시키기 위한 복수의 밸브를 포함하며, 상기 밸브의 개수는 상기 에어 스프링의 개수에 상응하며,상기 밸브 블록으로부터 각각의 상기 에어 스프링까지의 배관 길이가 최소가 되도록, 상기 밸브 블록은 차량의 좌우방향 중심을 따라 길이방향으로 연장되는 좌우 중심선 상에 위치하는 것을 특징으로 하는 공기현가장치.
- 청구항 1에 있어서,좌우측 후륜에 각각 에어 스프링이 설치된 경우, 상기 밸브 블록으로부터 상기 좌우측 에어 스프링까지의 배관 길이가 최소가 되도록, 상기 밸브 블록은 상기 좌우측 에어 스프링을 서로 연결하는 직선과 상기 좌우 중심선과의 교차점에 위치되는 것을 특징으로 하는 공기현가장치.
- 청구항 1에 있어서,좌우측 전륜 및 후륜에 각각 에어 스프링이 설치된 경우, 상기 밸브 블록으로부터 각각의 상기 에어 스프링까지의 배관 길이가 최소가 되도록, 상기 밸브 블록은 각각의 상기 에어 스프링을 대각선으로 연결하는 직선과 상기 좌우 중심선과의 교차점에 위치되는 것을 특징으로 하는 공기현가장치.
- 청구항 1에 있어서,상기 ECU와 상기 밸브 블록은 일체로 이루어지거나 서로 착탈 가능하게 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 공기현가장치.
