Claims (12)
- 주사선들 및 데이터선들에 연결된 다수의 화소를 포함하는 화소부와,상기 주사선들을 통해 상기 화소부와 전기적으로 연결된 주사 구동부와,상기 데이터선들을 통해 상기 화소부와 전기적으로 연결된 데이터 구동부와,주변 광의 밝기에 대응하는 광 감지신호를 생성하는 광센서와,상기 광 감지신호에 대응되는 감마값을 선택하고, 상기 선택된 감마값에 대응하는 감마 보정신호를 출력하는 휘도 제어부와,상기 광센서와 상기 휘도 제어부 사이에 위치되어 상기 휘도 제어부의 온/오프를 제어하는 스위치부와,상기 광 감지신호에 대응하여 입력 영상 데이터(RGB Data) 또는 상기 입력 영상 데이터를 변경한 변경 데이터(R'G'B' Data)를 저장하는 데이터 변환부를 포함하며,상기 광센서에서 감지되는 주변 광의 밝기 등급에 따라 기 설정된 기준치 이하의 조도일 경우에는 상기 휘도 제어부가 동작하고, 기준치 이상의 조도일 경우에는 상기 데이터 변환부가 동작함을 특징으로 하는 유기 전계 발광표시장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 스위치부는 외부에서 사용자가 입력하는 외부입력에 대응하여 상기 광센서로부터 출력되는 상기 광 감지신호를 상기 휘도 제어부로 전달하거나, 상기 광 감지신호가 상기 휘도 제어부로 전달되는 것을 차단함을 특징으로 하는 유기 전계 발광표시장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 데이터 구동부는 상기 휘도 제어부로부터 공급된 감마 보정신호, 또는, 상기 데이터 변환부에 의해 변환되어진 영상 데이터를 입력받아 이에 대응하는 데이터 신호를 생성하고, 상기 데이터 신호를 상기 데이터선들로 공급하는 유기 전계 발광표시장치.
- 삭제
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 휘도 제어부는,상기 광센서에서 출력되는 아날로그 광 감지신호를 디지털 감지신호로 변환하는 아날로그-디지털 변환기와,한 프레임 구간 동안 소정의 수를 카운팅하여 카운팅 신호를 생성하는 카운 터와,상기 디지털 감지신호와 상기 카운팅 신호에 대응하여 제어신호를 출력하는 변환 처리부와,상기 주변 광의 밝기를 복수의 단계로 나누고 각 단계에 대응하는 복수의 레지스터 설정값을 저장하는 레지스터 생성부와,상기 레지스터 생성부에 저장된 복수의 레지스터 설정값 중 상기 변환 처리부에 의해 설정된 상기 제어신호에 대응하는 하나의 레지스터 설정값을 선택하여 출력하는 제1 선택부와,상기 변환 처리부의 상기 제어신호에 대응하는 상기 감마 보정신호를 생성하는 감마 보정부를 포함하는 유기 전계 발광표시장치.
- 제5항에 있어서,상기 휘도 제어부는, 상기 휘도 제어부의 온/오프를 제어하는 제2 선택부를 더 포함하는 유기 전계 발광표시장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 데이터 변환부는,상기 광 감지신호에 대응하는 선택신호를 출력하는 비교부와,상기 선택신호에 대응하여 상기 입력 영상 데이터의 변경 여부를 결정하는 제어부와,상기 제어부로부터 전송되는 상기 입력 영상 데이터에 대응하여 화소 채도 데이터를 생성하는 제1 연산부와,상기 화소 채도 데이터와 상기 선택신호에 대응하여 변경 데이터를 추출하는 제2 연산부와,상기 제어부로부터 전송되는 상기 입력 영상 데이터, 또는 상기 제2 연산부로부터 공급되는 상기 변경 데이터를 저장하는 메모리를 포함하는 유기 전계 발광표시장치.
- 제7항에 있어서,상기 비교부는 상기 광 감지신호와 미리 설정된 기준값을 비교하여 적어도 세 개의 모드 중 어느 하나를 선택하는 상기 선택신호를 출력하는 유기 전계 발광표시장치.
- 제7항에 있어서,상기 제1 연산부에 의해 참조되는 채도 변경 매트릭스가 더 포함된 유기 전계 발광표시장치.
- 제9항에 있어서,상기 제1 연산부는 상기 입력 영상 데이터에 포함된 부화소별 입력 데이터와 상기 채도 변경 매트릭스를 연산하여 부화소별 목표 채도 데이터를 산출하고, 이를 이용하여 상기 화소 채도 데이터를 생성하는 유기 전계 발광표시장치.
- 제7항에 있어서,상기 제2 연산부에 의해 참조되며, 제1 채도 및 휘도 룩업테이블과, 제2 채도 및 휘도 룩업테이블을 포함하는 기준 룩업테이블부가 더 포함된 유기 전계 발광표시장치.
- 제11항에 있어서,상기 제2 연산부는 상기 화소 채도 데이터와 상기 선택신호에 대응하여 상기 제1 채도 및 휘도 룩업테이블과 제2 채도 및 휘도 룩업테이블 중 어느 하나를 선택하고, 선택된 룩업테이블로부터 상기 변경 데이터를 추출하는 유기 전계 발광표시장치.
