Abstract
Description
본 발명은 저전력의 개인 기지국에 대한 임의의 아날로그 전화기의 접속을 허용하기 위해, RJ-11 출력을 갖는 VOIP 단말기인 ATA(analog telephone adaptor)와, 미국 출원번호 10/280,733호에서 기술된 저전력의 개인 기지국을 결합시킨다. 이러한 새로운 디바이스는 VOIP-BS라 불린다. 기지국과 ATA는 두 개의 서로 다른 디바이스일 수 있다.

- 적어도 하나의 유선 전화기에 통신 가능하게 연결되는 TA(telephone adaptor); 및이동국과 통신하고, 상기 TA와 통신 가능하게 연결되며, 인터넷과 통신 가능하게 연결되는 기지국을 포함하고,상기 기지국은 상기 인터넷을 경유하여 상기 이동국 또는 상기 TA와 무선 네트워크 사이에서 전화 통화를 전달하며, 상기 기지국은, 발신 통화(outgoing calls)에 대하여, 상이한 전화 번호들을 구별하고, 선택된 전화 번호를 발신 전화 번호(originating phone number)로서 식별하기 위한 정보를 제공하는 네트워크.
- 제15항에 있어서, 상기 인터넷 및 상기 무선 네트워크와 통신 가능하게 연결되는 iBSC(internet base station controller)를 더 포함하며,상기 iBSC는 상기 인터넷과 상기 무선 네트워크 사이에서 상기 전화 통화를 전달하는 네트워크.
- 제15항에 있어서,상기 인터넷과 통신 가능하게 연결되며, 상기 이동국으로 향하는 제2 전화 통화를, 상기 인터넷을 경유하여 상기 무선 네트워크로부터 상기 기지국으로 전달하는, 상기 무선 네트워크의 MSC(mobile switching center)를 더 포함하는 네트워크.
- 제17항에 있어서, 상기 MSC 및 상기 인터넷과 통신 가능하게 연결되는 iBSC(internet base station controller)를 더 포함하며,상기 iBSC는 상기 인터넷을 경유하여 상기 MSC로부터 상기 기지국으로 상기 제2 전화 통화를 전달하는 네트워크.
- 제15항에 있어서, 상기 TA는 디지털 유선 전화기와 통신 가능하게 연결되는 네트워크.
- 제15항에 있어서, 상기 TA 및 상기 기지국은 단일의 디바이스로 통합되는 네트워크.
- 제15항에 있어서, 상기 기지국은 집 또는 사무실 내의 한 위치에서 상기 인터넷에 통신 가능하게 연결되는 네트워크.
- 제15항에 있어서, 상기 기지국은 상이한 발신자 ID 컨텐트를 이용하여 둘 이상의 이동국들과 통신하는 네트워크.
- 제15항에 있어서, 상기 기지국은 VOIP(Voice-Over-Internet Protocol) 단말기를 포함하는 네트워크.
- 적어도 하나의 전화기 및 인터넷과 통신 가능하게 연결되는 TA; 및상기 인터넷과 연결되는, 무선 네트워크의 MSC(mobile switching center) 또는 VOIP(Voice-over-Internet Protocol) 게이트웨이 중 하나를 포함하고,상기 TA는 상기 인터넷을 경유하여 상기 전화기와 상기 MSC 또는 VOIP 게이트웨이 사이에서 전화 통화를 전달하며, 상기 MSC 또는 VOIP 게이트웨이는, 발신 통화(outgoing calls)에 대하여, 상이한 전화 번호들을 구별하고, 선택된 전화 번호를 발신 전화 번호(originating phone number)로서 식별하기 위한 정보를 제공하는 네트워크.
- 제24항에 있어서, 상기 MSC 또는 상기 VOIP 게이트웨이는, 이동국으로 향하는 전화 통화를, 상기 인터넷을 경유하여 상기 무선 네트워크로부터 상기 TA로 전달하는 네트워크.
- 제24항에 있어서, 상기 TA는 복수의 유선 디지털 또는 아날로그 전화기들과의 접속을 위한 복수의 디지털 또는 아날로그 출력들을 제공하는 네트워크.
- 제24항에 있어서, 상기 TA는 고정형 전화기들에 대한 발신 통화들에 대하여 상이한 발신자 ID 컨텐트 및/또는 상이한 국번을 이용함으로써 복수의 이동 전화기들을 다룰 수 있는 네트워크.
- TA를 적어도 하나의 유선 전화기와 통신 가능하게 연결시키는 단계;기지국을 이동국, 상기 TA, 및 인터넷과 통신 가능하게 연결시키는 단계; 및상기 기지국을 이용하여, 상기 인터넷을 경유하여 상기 이동국 또는 상기 TA와 무선 네트워크 사이에서 전화 통화를 전달하는 단계를 포함하는 방법.
- 제28항에 있어서,상기 무선 네트워크의 MSC를 상기 인터넷과 통신 가능하게 연결시키는 단계; 및상기 이동국으로 향하는 제2 전화 통화를, 상기 인터넷을 경유하여 상기 무선 네트워크로부터 상기 기지국으로 전달하는 단계를 더 포함하는 방법.
- 제29항에 있어서,iBSC를 상기 MSC 및 상기 인터넷과 통신 가능하게 연결시키는 단계; 및상기 iBSC를 이용하여, 상기 인터넷을 경유하여 상기 MSC로부터 상기 기지국으로 상기 제2 전화 통화를 전달하는 단계를 포함하는 방법.
